Ripped from his lion in a fight with the Witches, Vincent was reborn as human. Saved by Cian Di Gatti, lord Ventus, on his fourteenth birthday, Vincent is reunited with his lion, Rhodes, but remembers nothing. For Rhodes, those memories have become nightmares.
On his Sweet Sixteen, the gods stage a coup to give Vincent his birthright- the magic of Anima.
He learns to deal with the dead- the lost souls- and help them move on to be reborn. What he can’t seem to master is family and friends in his new life. The one person who stands by him through it all is Nate Hall. Someone he meets by chance and not his intended mate.
Vin falls in love with the amber-eyed man who makes him feel safe enough to sleep. An Amber-eyed man who has a boyfriend.
On Vin’s twenty-first birthday, the magic throws him a curve ball, giving him a peek into his true mate’s life. Those private moments no one else is supposed to see. Blaise Donadieu doesn’t really care. To him, relationships are all about getting laid. Nate does the job, answers his booty calls, and doesn’t bug him with the mushy crap.
For the world to keep spinning, Blaise needs Vin. Vincent, however, wants to be more than a booty call. Nate wants Vin and will take him any way he can have him. Even if that means sharing him with Blaise.
This book contains light BDSM, some grumpy/sunshine characters, love at first sight, and a housecat.
The great world building continues in this story, and there was just the right amount of heat. I'm definitely looking for more of this in future books.
The great world building continues in this story and we get deeper into various characters powers and roles in the world. The relationship among Vincent, Nate and Blaise was a wonderfully complicated one as Nate and Blaise initially present two very opposite sides of the coin in their approach to what a relationship should be. Watching the three of them negotiate roles and boundaries made for a great read in a series that continues to develop in very interesting ways.
He was ripped from his lion in a fight and he will soon have a chance to be reunited with his lion. It is not going to be easy as memories are lost when he is reborn. He will have one man who stands by his side through it all so where will they take you? What is going to happen? How will it all go? Can his life get better? See where his story will take you
Wow. We finally met Ignatius! Camp is hilarious. Vin with his 2 mates- one for the man and one for the lion. I love Vin's relationship with Nate. Three dominant personalities in one relationship and Jae made it work.
This is the first MMM book I've read by Jae Greyn and I loved it. There was just the right amount of heat and was not 'over the top' like other MMM books I've read. I'm definitely up for more of this in future books.
This was book 3 in the Blood-rights series. This story includes characters from the Fire Ridge Pride series as well. The world/universe this author has created keeps growing as more characters are introduced and more information comes to light.
This book is based on the relationship between 3 men and the jobs/responsibilities each has. We have Vincent, Lord Anima, Lou and Cian's adopted son. We have Blaise (Pray), bartender, a Donadieu boy, hunter for the dead. And last, but not least, we have Nate, demigod, works for Dante the King of Amber Light Pride. These 3 will need to figure out how to make this relationship work and learn to share. I can't wait to see what comes next for them.
