The Rummage Sale: Collections and Recollections

Rate this book
The Rummage Sale presents what appear at first to be randomly gathered odds and ends - not just stories, but letters, journals, photographs, poems, notes, and even the contents of a box. Yet what finally emerges is a tapestry, a collection of fictional pieces subtly created and linked together through characters and events, of a community of lives.

Book of amazing short stories that depict the Latter-Day Saint culture in Utah 50 years ago. Lots of layers of meaning and insight into people’s lives. These stories both made me homesick and also made me examine how I viewed others.

Fun little book of stories and poems. This author is LDS, so his stories reflect that.
