Entirely different from Dostoevsky's usual writing and it shows! Being semi-autobiographical, it really shows with the amount of EMOTION he put into each and every word. Incredibly bleak and not pulling punches with the details, it was enchanting to read and wonder which of these characters Dosto really met.
