Every year elementary school teachers are required to teach students about their community as a part of the state curriculum. When teacher, Marilyn Kay Phillips, couldn't find a book about her community of Fort Worth, Texas, she set out to write one with a little help from six of her former students! The result is this volume--an informative book that explores some of Fort Worth's most popular historical and cultural attractions and includes special commentary from Fort Worth area kids that provides a unique "Kids' View" of their favorite fun places! Lots of pictures, too!
