Read in support of an ongoing course. There was some useful material for me in the early chapters, but I felt the later chapters started to lose focus. Having said that the corporate vocation chapter was interesting but was couched in terms of the organisation of the future when the book was written (about 2000).

To be honest this is not really my type of book and I would have awarded two stars but for the very extensive use of quotations from a wide range of literature.

An okay little book that explains the purpose of vocation in life from a Christian perspective. I think its classification of genius, gift, talent, ability, skill, aptitude is one of the most useful parts of the book. It's a quick read and easily consumed.
