This volume serves as how psychic power works, there are lot of techniques introduced and the reader now aware how intricate the psychic’s concept of this world to its very detailing.

The Claw organisation’s motive is definitely the progress plot and I can’t wait for the next volume where their belief will be shaken.

I also just realized how it’s usual in breaking the will of someone, we have to show the point of no return but it doesn’t really work for our Shigeo Kageyama here because the more you tried to put pressure in him, the more he will thrive.

AND ALSO MY GOD THE CLIFFHANGER ENDING (pretend shock face because I already watched the anime and know what will happen next but I still remember how SHOOKETH I AM with it)

So we just went from a volume of blah blah blah to almost wiping out all the claws in the next?
Anyway, fight manga style level up! Overcoming the different bad folks was kind of interesting to watch because both Mob and his brother are just getting lucky until they don't against the adults who have fighting experience. I enjoy everyone but the evil leaders trying to warn off the cannon fodder before they get hurt.

Probably the best volume so far in my opinion.

Very battle/action centric but I think this manga suits that well. Enjoying the development in world building and the differences in psychic abilities introduced.

4/5 This is a very battle centric volume and that works for me. Mob, Hanazawa, and Dimple invade The Claw base to rescue Ritsu and the other kidnapped psychics from the Awakening Group. 11 strong badies are revealed called Scars. They are the strongest operatives of Claw and our team has to fight our way through them.

I had a lot of fun this volume. The battles are well structured. There's a decent amount of humor spread out and the characters are growing on me. Mob is still a beast but it's fun to watch what is essentially his rage meter fill up before he goes nuts obliterating everything.

Alert: Mob and Teru have entered the building. I repeat: Mob and Teru have entered the building . What building, you ask? Well I’m not in the business of spoiling people so you’ll just have to read the volume to find out. ;)

Randomness aside: This volume is full of fights at Claw’s headquarters, and of the whole crew being badass. “The whole crew” being inclusive of Mob, Teru, Ritsu, and even Dimple and the Awakening Lab kids to an extent. It’s so satisfying seeing Teru be powerful and not an asshole. It feels like usually when reformed baddies are added to the good-guy-squad they get disappointingly nerfed, so it felt real good to see him continue to be powerful and great and best-character-material. Same thing for Dimple, actually! It was cool seeing him have his little fight as well. All the fights between all the lads were quite satisfying during this volume, if I’m to be honest.

Shou (the ginger twerp who works with Claw who is powerful but doesn’t have a scar (that we know of)) is introduced in this volume, and I’m super excited to learn more about him! He seems really interesting, like what’s up with this random cocky kid and what’s he doing there? Where do his real loyalties lie? Where did he come from? Where did he go? (And so forth.) The anime didn’t get far enough through the manga to really explore his character in much depth at all, so I’m really excited to be able to learn more about him now that I’m reading the manga.

Also wow: We’re getting pretty close to where the anime left off!!! Exciting!! We’re really close to new content! Hype! I wonder if the next volume will be able to finish off the arc and the anime-covered-material. The reason I’m not sure is because it feels like the volumes go by so fast but that they don’t actually cover that much ground, story- and plot-wise.

Now let’s talk about that ending, shall we? (ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY READ VOLUME 6 OF THE MANGA OR WATCHED EPISODE 11 OF THE ANIME) Ayyyyee Reiiiigeeeennnn! Finally, the main man has arrived! I was really missing him during these past two volumes. Though of course I already new all I had to do was bide my time and he was sure to show up. And that he did, and in quite shocking circumstance at that! I was capital “S” SHOOK when I saw his appearance at the end of episode 10. They made it seem like Claw’s boss just showed up, and that he was REIGEN!! I can’t really tell if those are the same vibes going on with the manga since I already know the truth. I was soooo shocked y’all. I felt betrayed and confused. The main man himself!? The head of the enemy organization?! Oh heeeellllll naw, son. I was hurt. Real hurt. But then episode 11 came out and OF COURSE Reigen was just being the beautiful soul that he is and is NOT evil but in fact there to save the day!!! God bless Reigen and his lack of any power whatsoever, who still manages to be badass and inspirational and a great guardian for Mob.

I’ll end with good news: This volume had the reappearance of omake at the end! Yaay!

This volume of Mob Psycho 100 falls into some familiar shounen manga tropes, but deploys them in unique ways. The colorful cast of villains introduced to be defeated one-by-one and the final team-up of former enemies to take down a villainous stronghold are among the numerous ideas cleverly riffed on here. It is perhaps a consequence of ONE's lack of confidence in his own ability as an artist that the action scenes are so condensed and concise. However, unlike many shounen manga, the action scenes never feel anti-climactic. Although each unique villain doesn't get too much time on the page, they at least get enough to showcase their ability and give Mob a foil.

I liked this volume more than the previous one. Ritsu is kidnapped by Koyama (the adult esper we see before) and Mob, Teru, and Dimple infiltrate Claw's base in order to save him. There are many short fights and we see Teru and Dimple in action as well. Mob is powerful as always but it is also good to see how Teru changed. The new characters (from Claw) are also interesting especially Sho who is a big mystery for now. The ending of the book was also great! I am curious about the next one.

In this Volume 5, it talks about Mob’s younger brother Ritsu who has been kidnapped by the Claw. The Claw has a group of psychics called the Awakening that have 11 strong individuals. They really give Ritsu, Mob and Dimple a run for their money. My favorite character is Shou he's a new character but sadly he got killed rather fast.
All the fights were awesome. I enjoyed seeing Mob powers go up and fight so effortlessly. I also enjoyed the art it was beautiful and very realistic. It was almost like watching manga.

Este tomo fueron básicamente puras peleas de los distintos protagonistas. Fue entretenido y me gusta ver la cantidad de poder que tiene Mob y su amigo. Hoyuelo me entretiene mucho también.
Pero lo que más me gusta de la serie: las preguntas filosóficas, la tristeza, la existencia de los personajes, los motivos que tienen para actuar como actúan. Eso no está en este tomo. Puras peleas y son entretenidas pero me gusta cuando el manga se pone un poco filosófico y eso no está en este tomo.
De todos modos quiero seguir leyendo lo que le sucede a Mob y su pequeña tropa de psíquicos enloquecidos.

Như 1 trò đùa =))))))) Shigeo, Teruki và Dimple đến sào huyệt Móng vuốt để cứu bọn trẻ. Sau khi đánh bại hơn nửa năng lực gia thì đụng độ tên trưởng chi nhánh có vẻ mạnh nhất trong số đó. Đúng lúc sư phụ Mob xuất hiện vì đi tìm Mob, bị tụi năng lực gia nhân tạo tưởng nhầm là boss nên dẫn vào bên trong, đụng trúng hội Mob và trưởng chi nhánh đang chuẩn bị bụp nhau.

In this volume, a couple of middle schoolers + Dimple trashed a top-secret terrorist base, Ritsu redeemed himself a little bit, and Teru flat-out killed a man. Also, Shou read a comic called Ass-Chin Zombie, and I'm wondering if I'm the only one who noticed that bizarre detail?! Fun times all around.

Weiter geht es, in die Fänge von "Klaue". Oder zumindest deren Hauptzentrale. Mob und seine Freunde kämpfen sich durch - und das gewohnt humoristisch. ONE liebt es, Erwartungen nicht zu erfüllen und seine Zeichnungen stets von Neuem entgleisen zu lassen.

Mit dem fünften Band ist "Mob Psycho 100" zu einem unterhaltsamen Selbstläufer geworden, bei dem man sich über jeden doofen Einfall freut.

This series just keeps getting more intriguing.

This was by far the best volume yet, it was very action packed and it felt like we were getting a whole new Mob in this volume. The introduction of all the scars was great and each one was uniquely scary.

The plot has some real meat on its bones now and I can’t wait to see where they take it from here, especially after that cliffhanger…

Lots of fights this volume! Tons of different types of psychic powers here, with different applications. It goes by quick, pretty fun to see, not as much humour as the previous volumes as everything seems more 'serious' now as Mob tries to save Ritsu.
