T.A. Moorman
25 books627 followersT. A. resides in Detroit, Michigan with her five children, and the rest of her dysfunctional family, where she was born and raised. She started her writing career in the midst of a very hard time in her life and is now a best-selling author. Her debut and award-winning novel, Witch Wars, and the world of Underlayes, was born from a mind that desperately needed an escape, so she created one.
The novel was inspired by her love of all things paranormal and how she wanted it seen. “We live in a diverse world, shouldn’t all of the characters in books, even paranormal also be diverse,” she says. “I saw so few paranormal books with a diverse cast until I read L. A. Banks. You know, with more than one or two diverse characters thrown in for good measure. Mine have it all, too.”
A mother of five beautiful children, but by far more than just that. T. A. Moorman is an artist, a violinist, a seamstress, a crafter, a writer, a blogger, a reviewer, a dark confidant and a darkly dangerous, fiercely protective friend.

The first book I really enjoyed the story, not too fond of the graphic sex. Each book after in the whole series I grew less fond of. Not only bc of being written in 1st person but also bc there was way too much graphic sex that it really turned me off. The author had a great concept with the story line and I would have given the rating 5 stars but the sex scenes just ruined it for me.

Books 1-4 in the Underlayes series a well written set of supernatural beings, it is a set that kept me turning pages. I found myself laughing at somethings as I read, I will be reading this set again. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The collection is a very engaging and intriguing read.
**Witch Wars
This truly just the beginning!
As much as Tia goes through and as many "bombs" that are dropped on her, it's a good thing she is as strong as she is. This is a very strong story that is both emotional and sexy.
**The Succubus, The Demon, and The Witch
There was focus on any one character.
Not only was Jelissa's story being told Tia's was continuing and Kierra and her mate also had a part of the focus. It became a lot to keep track of who's story was being at that point.
The only thing that made it easier was that it was all connected by the same story.
I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased, honest review.

Underlayes: Omnibus by T. A. Moorman is such an amazing box set that I have read. I loved reading this box set and can not wait to see what this author will write about next. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about dark, Sci-Fi and paranormal romances.

Book 1:
This was my first T.A. Moorman book and all I can say is what took me so long!
I loved the characters, the trials and the smaller conflicts that lead to the larger conflict in the end. Trials and loss heighten the reading experience and then there is nothing like reading descriptions of your hometown!
Book 1.5:
I loved the characters, the trials and the smaller conflicts that lead to the larger conflict in the end. Trials and loss heighten the reading experience and then there is plenty of Spice for those looking for that!
Book 2:
This book was a wild ride fro start to finish! The story jumps 25 years in the future after then Princess now Queen Tialanna gave birth to the cold she was carrying at the end of Witch Wars.
Kidnapping, steamy sex and epic battles ensue ... anger & rage are the flavor of the Day and in the end will love and good intention be enough?
Read it to see!

Tia goes on a date with Bram to a place she's wanted to go forever. Bran leaves for a little bit and Tia has an adventure with vampires. Only she accidentally interests the blood of a vampire and it triggers her change. Secrets kept from her all her life start to be revealed. She is really tired and mad that she's been kept in the dark. There is treachery and death. But she has a family to back her.
Each story brings more of the threat and war closer. She's made peace with her vampire mate, Bram but now she needs to find Grimm and figure what Else they need to be.
A riveting story that will thrill, shock and captivate the reader.

This is a collection of the first four books of the series making this an excellent starting point. The stories are well written and easy to read with lots of action, intrigue, unexpected twists and turns, and more than a few steamy sex scenes. All these elements are blended together to produce an engaging, easy-to-read series which leaves you wanting more.

OMG Loved It, I have read all these books and Ms Moorman made the best choice by putting them all together. It was great to reread them all back to back this time amazeballs loved it.

November 26, 2019The Underlayes might be a bit of a refuge for the unusual supernatural- they are filled with more than unusual entities. The family dynamics are insane, and make for great juicy stories!
