Book Five of Eden Chronicles - It's been almost a year since the Edenites and Jema took the British Isles on Chandra from the Kaerin. As the Edenites and Jema prepare for the inevitable counterattack, the Kaerin are desperate to develop new capabilities. The High Blood leaders are faced with a choice that could mean their salvation or doom all of Chandra. In desperate need of numbers, the Edenites consider turning to the one place they know they can find help - the spiraling disaster that is Earth. The battle for Chandra's future joins on land, at sea, and in the air. The Wrong Game is the fifth book in the Eden Chronicles from the author of the best-selling "Seasons of Man" series. S. M. Fantastic story , this installment was awesome !. Been waiting patiently for this bookto come out. Was worth the wait. Had a couple good twists. Hope the follow-up doesn't take to long.
A continuing story that gets better with every book in the series, can’t wait for the next chapter in this intriguing series, a few typos here and there but nothing to bother the flow of the story.
Obviously you are here because the other four books were very good. S.M. Anderson does it yet again. Great story, Great characters, and great action! What more could you want???
Great series of books. Excellent world-building and character development over the course of the series. There are some editing errors, but I’m not a stickler about that. Very well written, and the plot is original as well.
Couldn’t put the series down. Fast moving well written fantasy, looking forward to the next book. Would be great to know when the next book is due out.
I can honestly say that I have not disliked anything about these books. I absolutely love the main story together with the numerous back stories going on in parallel, which flesh out and give depth to all of the characters. I can't wait to see what the Kaerin do next..........
Love the action between the different types of people. Like the contrast to previous wars on earth. Really like where the story is heading. Looking forward to new enemies or maybe friends. Thanks for the entertainment. Quite enjoyed reading it.
Good writing, good grammar, well defined characters (but none truly dominant; I loved Dumb and Dumber for their, actually smart, humor), almost enough action. I think a bit more world building would be beneficial. There's definitely potential to continue the series, and I would keep reading if the author keeps writing.
In our political environment today, this series is scary. From the first book to book 5 I am hooked. Anyone who likes conspiracy theories and aliens will love them! The characters are real, just like they are some of your friends. Trust me you will not want to put them down.
Thank you S.M. Anderson and your vivid imagination.
I really like the concept of this series. The plot is well formed, characters are easy to relate to. I would like to see a little bit more of the Earth #1 where they came from. Mr. Anderson has raised a quiet question: In any given society if enough people with aptitudes and technical knowledge and skills become disillusioned with the said society, and they have the option of moving to a fresh frontier, will they take it? Also with the loss of such skills what happens to the place they came from? The only negative aspect of this book is the 12-18 month hiatus between volumes. Even such the wait is worth it. One can only hope for sooner volume #6 Bill Hodges
This long-awaited 5th installment of SM Andersons Eden Chronicles was worth every minute of waiting. The story lines are straight forward but with unexpected twists and turns. The well fleshed characters are sympathetic (mostly) with hopes, doubts and fears that us ordinary humans have. I wont comment on the series except to say its of the parallel universe genre, populated with ordinary people in extraordinary and sometimes frightening circumstances. I will re-read the entire series and hopefully the sixth book will be available by then! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I prefer to review a series. I don’t do so often because today the trend is to write a trilogy of trilogies. It was obvious the previous book didn’t finish the story. This one did and might allow for another one in a bit. It was worth the wait.
A successful deployment requires luck. This book knows that and provides it. I liked the social commentary on where we might be heading even without a possible alternate location. I hope it stays in the realm of fears unrealized.
Great Job. Buy the book and make the author wealthy.
Well written, with exciting battle action and a good dose of humor, this installment has been a most satisfying read. The characters are fleshed out more fully in book five too. The wait for book six will be tough, but I'm sure worth the wait. Thank you, Mr. Anderson, for a ripping great series!
It's not that I'm unhappy with the book, quite the opposite in fact. The thing I'm not happy about is that I have finished this book and now I have to wait another year or more to find out what happens next. This book, number 5 in the series is a worthy addition to its predecessors, but leaves us with a cliffhanger. I can't wait for book 6, so get a move on Mr Anderson!
Just like every other book in this series I tore through it like a starving man in a buffet. S.M. Anderson has created a very interesting twist on post-apocalyptic. A wonderful blend of fiction and reality, its almost a scenario you can feel play out; almost. The way he understands and writes the inner workings of military and special forces gives a totally new perspective into modern day military strategy. All and all this is a fantastic series and I can't wait for the journey to continue.
This book does not disappoint. It is filled with lots of action and you see a different side to the main antagonist. I feel like this book set the stage for a dramatic conclusion of the series. I hope there are several more to come. The author is definitely one of my new favorites and I look forward to his work.
I am truly enjoying the series. The plot isn't far fatched when you consider how politics is playing out in the USA, Canada, and Western Europe. It's scary and plausible. The rest, two new worlds and a feudal style enemy, and now a super enemy... it just gets better.
I've been enjoying this well written series. The good guy characters are likeable and you find yourself rooting for some of less "hero" characters. The pace is good and the situations believable. Cant wait for the next book.
Note to the author, if he reads these reviews. The were a few jarring typos in the last 50 pages or so. Might be worth a quick edit.
This book has been well worth the wait! It carries on the story from the previous books, with jumps back and fourth from different worlds it’s a gripping read! I would highly recommend this series of books. One question for the author. What happened to the battery???
I have enjoyed reading the Eden Chronicles. One can get engrossed in a good series and the last chapter was a good twist to the story. Mr. Anderson knows how to keep the storyline on a good course without straying off on a tangent. Can't wait for his next book whether an Eden follow up or a Seasons of Man. Thank you!!!
I enjoyed every minute! literally couldn’t put it down!
Outstanding story telling with terrific characters and pace. I’ve enjoyed this entire series, and I will be looking forward to the next book with relish!
