Mais si ! Peter Pan a existé ! À Poulbot de White Chapell, le quartier de Londres le plus populeux en cette année 1887, il survit vaille que vaille dans un monde d'adultes corrompus par la misère. Revisiter un mythe, le parer des couleurs de la réalité sans en faire fondre la magie n'est pas à la portée de n'importe qui. Normal que ce défi ait inspiré Régis Loisel, dessinateur surdoué de La Quête de l'oiseau du temps et du très érotique Troubles fêtes. About the author

Régis Loisel is a cartoonist living in Montreal, Canada. Since the 1970s Loisel has become one of the most decorated French comic artists, especially in the fantasy genre. Loisel has won several awards at the Angoulême International Comics Festival, including the lauded Grand Prix in 2002.

I wasn't a big fan of this, a bit too weird and dark for me... I wasn't neither a fan of the art (it's still beautiful and the artist is amazing, just not really my style...) or even the story... but it turned out to also be a fourth volume...
I would still recommend to check it out if you're interested, like weird stuff, and exploration of characters beyond their usual story (which I absolutely I love)

(Also I read for 2020 ReadingRush, and the prompts: cover the color of my birth stone, read outside (aka read by the window while it's open), and also inspired by a movie I've seen :) )

Tinha os 3 últimos volumes da colecção pendentes para ler, e lá retomei... obviamente que não devia ter deixado tanto tempo entre a leitura dos primeiros volumes para agora ler os últimos... já praticamente não me lembrava nada da história...
Trata-se de uma adaptação muito livre da história original do Peter Pan, criada por J.M. Barrie, e que faz a ponte com os assassínios de Jack o Estripador na Londres oitocentista... claramente é uma história direccionada para um público mais maduro, e não infanto-juvenil.

Le tome peut-être le plus important pour l'évolution de Peter. Toujours très bien rythmé, Loisel fait du sacré boulot.

Da je ovo Hollywoodski film zvao bi se Petar Pan: Postanak. Samo tad Petar ne bi jeo Panov pepeo, nestale bi opaske o Zvončicinim sisama, ne bi vidjeli kako krokodil jede kapetanovu ruku i općenito kolicina krvi bi pala na puno manju miru, ali bi Jack Trbosjek vjerovatno osta. Ne, nije to film koji bi gledao. Zato živjele Crvene ruke!

Currently available on the Internet Archive, this is the fourth volume of a Peter Pan adaptation. This volume has darker action, including the taking of Hook’s hand by Peter. It’s getting darker, with more Jack the Ripper hints. The comments on volume one apply here too.

Très triste la mort de Pan. Après je n'ai pas compris le lien entre l'assassin de la vile de Londres et l'histoire... à suivre.

À Londres, c’est le début d’un tristement célèbre drame… Je n’ai pas vraiment apprécié ce petit lien sadique… Nous baignons dans le sauvage et la vengeance…

Het verhaal wordt donker met de wraakactie van Peter tegenover de kapitein. Het tekenwerk is iets beter, maar nog overwegend ruw.
