Bones is just a puppy who dreams of being a warrior. His father had fought in the cat wars long ago. His mother wants to protect him as the runt of a litter and sadly the only surviving member of that litter. But danger lurks nearby and Bones’ peaceful life gets abruptly shattered. He must train to become stronger. He must train to become faster and most importantly, he must train to recognize and achieve balance. Bones’ destiny is tied up with ancient evil forces and some surprising friends. The world is being destroyed. Village after village fall to the merciless Sentinels. They are looking for a warrior of old. Bones’ family flees their home and sets off on a journey to find the strength to fight back. For a prophecy in a dream states that if Bones cannot face this evil, then nobody can and the world will fall to perpetual darkness. By keeping one step ahead of the enemy, they hope to buy the little dog enough time to learn what he needs to. For if they falter, all is lost.
