Maggie Page is the only Omega in her family, and she’s spent her life taking care of everyone else. But Maggie’s generosity backfires when her snooty brother arrives for vacation and insists Maggie spend her heat someplace else. So, instead of staying home with her toys, Maggie has to spend her heat in the Omega Center.
Maggie swears her heats are a breeze. She just needs some privacy and extra batteries. But the Center is devoted to giving Omegas safe heats with carefully selected Alphas, even if an Alpha is the last thing Maggie wants.
Linus Lockridge is a strange Alpha whose keen sense of smell means he’s never wanted anyone but his husband and fellow Alpha, Graham Baxter . Everyone but Graham smells foul . But high society has things to say about Alpha/Alpha pairings. Linus registers at the Center to stop the gossip, certain he’ll never find anyone else who smells as good as his husband.
(And Graham ? He’d just appreciate it if Maggie and Linus could pull their heads out and get back in bed.)
This is a standalone, Omegaverse reverse harem romance with two alphas, a poly mmf relationship, and toasty hot mm scenes. There are two charming Alphas, one stubborn Omega, knots, bonds, and stumbling across the loves of your life. No cheating, no choosing, and a guaranteed HEA!
I both love and hated that the story was short and that it basically covers Maggie's heat only.
I loved that Graham had a human moment of panic/resentment to Maggie becoming a part of their dynamic/pack. I loved that Linus also had misgivings over Maggie joining them and the funny/annoying scene when he.
I loved how Iris' customer service voice/tone was captured. I loved how she knew when to pivot and when to lay the terms and conditions out. The center aspects were good filler/plot.
I didn't love the fact that we actually didn't get to see/read/experience Maggie+Graham+Linus fully outside the heat as well as outside the confines of the centre. While I appreciate the realness of the family dynamics, it annoyed me/brought down the book high that all of them were anti-Graham and Linus was basically the golden child with Maggie coming off as an oh well 'preferred' match.
Decent book. There’s not a lot of substance because it only covers Maggie’s heat in a span of a few days. We don’t get to see them interact outside the omega center or watch how their relationship grows.
I do love Graham and Linus’s relationship how sweet they are with each other, and Graham’s moment of self-doubt that Linus will still want him after meeting Maggie.
I just wish there was more to the story, as it wasn’t enough for me to say that I really cared about the characters

Cute but waaaay too short with too many loose ends
Knot Alone is actually a really “sweet” non-angsty (since so many ABO genre books are dark and angst filled lately, book). Ihas minimal drama and just a few “problems” the characters face. Ivy Baile writes well, and the story is cute.
Okay. I gave it two stars for the following reasons. 1) it is waaaaay toooooo short!!! There are a lot of potential issues that are mentioned at the beginning of the book that could and should create problems for the characters. But because the book is too short those issues s are never fully explained, or resolved in any satisfying manner. 2) Although the three main characters are very “sweet” and written well, again, since the book isn’t very long, you don’t really get to know them fully…you don’t get to immerse yourself in their lives 3) Linus and Graham are MARRIED alphas. They’re actually really cute together and totally an “old married couple, lol. Linus didn’t want to join the heat center but did under pressure from his hoity toity, parents (they don’t like that their rich society son is ONLY mated to another alpha…it doesn’t look “good” for them in the eyes of society AND they want grandchildren. This is all explained from Linus’ POV as he waits at the heat/Omega center to find a match for an Omega he really doesn’t want. Because only Grahams scent has EVER made him feel the need to have sexual desires or rut. Then there is our intrepid Omega FMC, Maggie, who is bullied out of her own home by her sister, brother and their kids because NONE of them are Omegas, they don’t understand, don’t want to understand her heat, and are basically awful people who take her for granted as a free babysitting service! She ends up at the Omega center to find a safe place to ride out her heat. All her prior heats were handled ALONE and in pain because her family thinks heats are “dirty.” Linus and Maggie meet by “accident” and are instantly stunned by the fact that they’re a scent match! A.K.A. They LOVE each others scents. So Linus takes Maggie home to his husband Graham, to wait to “service” Maggie’s heat. Linus already knows he wants to claim Maggie, Graham loves her scent, but doesn’t want to be “replaced” in his husband’s heart.”
So you see. There is A LOT of emotional stuff happening, along with the cute, there are also issues to work out. Everything stated above happens waaay to quickly. We BARELY get to know Graham as a character! And we hardly see the three of them connect as a pack together, unless they’re having sex! Plus, add in Maggie’s awful family, it’s never resolved. A short epilogue, on how her pack just kinda deals with them is all we get, along with a short description that Linus’ uptight society parents who have been riding him this entire book, just kinda “accept” things too? Uhm huh?! I would really like closure on those issues since they were big ones. And don’t forget Maggie’s social climbing mother who is thrilled her daughter is packed to Linus since he’s wealthy…again, NOOOO further explanation on her front, save to say she’s delighted with the development. As I stated, not huge dark angsty issues, but issues all the same. The book just is too short to address said issues, and that’s a shame because it’s cute, written nicely, and would’ve been awesome if it were longer or even a duet!!
This one was pretty good. I liked that Linus had a picky sense of smell. I thought it was cute and a nice change as well as the fact he blushes even though he's an alpha. I loved Graham, and I hate that everyone is on a "I hate him" train outside of Linus and Maggie. Maggie was sweet and cute. My biggest thing is that I wish it was longer. I would've liked seeing them get to know each other more, and the bonding that's always my favorite part to read. I also have a love hate relationship with the ending I wanted Linus and Maggie to say fuck you to their families. Maggie, because hers put her down for her designation and used her as a daycare for their kids. Linus because his parents seem to have conditional love as well as lots of meddling to get what they want from him even though he sets and keeps firm boundaries just seemed toxic and wish that wasn't part of the epilogue especially knowing how nervous and uncomfortable Graham was since none of them like him. Epilogues to me are the happy ever after which you got they're bonded and living together but I almost would've rather seen them on a date, them bonding, or her saying she wants to have babies, even finding healthy people to be found family with them just so many other options other than a family BBQ with bitch family number one and bitchier family. If the families had made drastic changes and groveled, I'd have a different opinion, but they didn't change at all other than holding back what they say sometimes, not even all the time.

This was a very enjoyable little Omegaverse story.
The only criticism is that it was JUST a fun little story. There was no angst or obstacles(that weren’t immediately toppled) and I just found myself wanting more. More pages. More interaction between other characters and not just the mains. More issues to be solved. The sexy/spicy scenes were on point though! That is one place that this author shines! I have never read a more realistic first anal scene.
So although I loved reading this, I needed a bit more substance to the story to make it one that I would reread in the future - something to make the ending feel more earned by the characters. Maybe a b-plot about her family? We got a snippet of them but I really wanted more. That could have been a good obstacle and an opportunity for her to come into her own and refute the position her family has forced her into. Or something about Graham’s old life in the military? A baddie from his past shows up to threaten his future??? Anything? It just felt a bit unfinished to me - like I only got half of the story.
I will be watching for the next offering by this author because she CAN write a good Omegaverse. I just wanted more!
For anyone seeking a good low danger story that includes menage or omegaverse or polyamory, this one is worth checking out.
The story starts with Linus at an omega center because his parents are harassing him that his marriage to Graham isn't enough; he "needs" an omega. Linus has only ever wanted Graham, so he is just going through the motions signing he and Graham up. Graham is hoping they'll find a female they can help through heats.
The rest of the book takes us from this to several months after, when Linus and Graham have reconsidered that initial idea. Baile takes the idea and made me care about every step of the process.
Along the way, Baile gives is not only main characters wd care about but side characters who matter. Iris, the caseworker Linus is working with, became someone I liked more and more as the story progressed.
I hope this ends up being part of a series; I'd love to see this world again. (Iris deserves her own story, for one.)
i don't normally write reviews, but!!!! this was so good!!!! it got me kicking my feet and gigging like crazy. i love their dynamic. love how their relationship blossomed
i genuinely feel for maggie, poor omega having to deal with all that sexism from both her family and the worker, but i am sooo glad she has someone to lean on now. i am even more glad it's someone as reliable and relationship-responsible as linus and graham
ngl i had a crush on graham reading this. he is genuinely the perfect alpha
the only complaint i have is that it's so short. i was hoping to see more of their relationship outside of the heatroom, but oh well. i'll just have to deal with it
loved it!!!

I loved the characters in this book. Linus and his not liking people as a whole but adoring his husband and Maggie supporting all their endeavors. Graham's support of both Maggie and Linus's family issues alomg with cooking and gardening. Maggie's fit between them perfectly. Also Iris is amazing. She is an amazing character who fends off the unwanted Omegas, bad center employees, and even family members like Charlie. I wanted more of this story though, I wanted to see Graham's old unit, how they deal with having children, and the bonding bite.
This story of Maggie, Graham and Linus is a delightful take on the whole Omegaverse thing. The sex is scorching hot, the cocks are not obscenely big, the heat only lasts a few days, and even the drama is manageable. And yet, the book is not the least bit boring.
There is no creepy stalker or crazy ex, just lovely people who work things out and present an united front against their exasperating families. This is Ivy Baile's first book, and I hope she writes many more.
This was an absolutely adorable book! I love the heat clinic trope, I hope more books come out like this. I love the two alphas they were surprisingly cute and extremely smexy. I love how they were adamant from first meeting that she was the one for them. And I love how even tho she was a little unsure of trusting her omega instinct she was determined to be around them.
So good! My only complaint is that it wasn't long enough. I would've loved a longer version of the story with less time spent on the intro and heat and a bit of time afterwards to see how the families handled everything, but I understand that it's meant to be more of a snapshot of how they came to be. Either way, I loved it. Excellent writing and character development.
I wish it had more depth and was longer, it had a lot of potential so it’s a shame the author didn’t decide to add more details. I felt it was more focused on the clinic, how it works and the heat instead of the characters and how their relationship evolved. Apart some mistakes (the guys’ names sometimes were switched and a few phrases were confusing), it was written well.
Honestly I can’t remember the last time I read a book from a lesser known author that didn’t have multiple egregious errors and awkward sentence structure. This book was very well written with no obvious errors.
Hot dang! That was on fire! 🥵 This was a great OV story with such sweet and likable main characters. It was heat intense, and those scenes were scorching. Those heat scenes in particular were really well written and I liked the story overall as well. I will be reading more from the author for sure. 4⭐️ 4.5🌶
Thoroughly enjoyed this one. I’ve been in a book slump for a while and haven’t finished anything but this one I started and finished in one day. Loved the characters and how they formed a relationship when it definitely wasn’t the goal. They had some slight struggles to work through but a great sweet verse read. I will add this to my re-read collection :)
Great potential storyline wise but felt a bit stilted at times and storyline rushed in places. Characters need fleshing out to make them more relatable- 2 dimensional at the moment. Few ongoing grammatical errors were distracting- would benefit from further editing.
of course this was short and sweet but the summary of the book made it seem like there was going to be a tiff between linus and maggie. but there wasn’t. it was sweet but could have been longer. I hate maggie’s family. spice is good
this threesome was sosososososo yummy, they were both so good to her and actually took the time to understand her and her needs! tens across the board!!!!
i read it very quickly, but it's very forgettable ngl
This is the first book I have read by this author. I love each character in this book!! The story is easy to follow with a natural flow to it. The intimate scenes are hot hot hot!!! I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
It's a short book and alot of it was used to explain procedures at a clinic versus actual story. I wanted more story. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't read again.
