Everything I said for the first volume still applies here!!
It could have had a bit more of a relationship building but tbh I didn’t mind that we had a focus here on homophobia around them.

Ah, I finally got around to reading the second volume too! It’s not like, mind-blowing or anything, but I dunno—I just really like how their relationship is built on solid communication. Like, they actually talk things out, no big misunderstandings, just chill and honest convos.

Sumire and Toujo relationship is very passionate and sweet.
I like the amount of growth Toujo has gained ever since he started dating Sumire.
The relationship dynamic between Sumire's new friend Yoshiki was interesting.
Yoshiki allowed his jealousy of Toujo to almost ruin his friendship with Sumire by expressing that he didn't agree with gay relationships but luckily he is able to overcome this viewpoint.
Sumire has such a positive outlook and attitude that he is able to have Yoshiki realize how harmful his comment could be.
The biggest problem was this volume was the constant bickering between Toujo and Yoshiki
other than that this volume was great.

Not as good as volume one and I think that is because it dealt more with homophobia than building a relationship. In the first volume, it felt special and like these two didn’t care about anything else other than one another. Now, in this volume, the boys had to deal with frustration over someone not liking that they are gay (which is an important topic but not as romantic as just full on falling for someone).

Still a phenomenal read, though. These boys are so stinking cute for each other and I hope there is more in this series! ৻(•̀ ᗜ •́ ৻)⊹｡₊*⊹.˚

Did not like this as much as I liked the first one. I don't know what it was about it that I didn't like exactly, but the story just felt kind of off to me. Like the set up felt awkward and like maybe it should've been a bit longer? There's a lot going on that was a bit oddly paced. Idk. Anyway completely forgot that Tojo was the bottom because of how they present both in appearance and personality, but love it. I did get the vibe that there's a third volume planned so I am hoping for it.

Jealousy and honesty

This volume explored Sumire attempting to make a new friend with an interesting take and introducing him to overly protective Suguru. The love between Sumire and Suguru continues to bloom beautifully despite Sumire being in high school and Suguru being in college. Can’t wait for more!

again, super cute. tojo & sumire's relationship is nicely written. they're so considerate of each other 🥹 v2 took on a more serious tone by bringing in a homophobic character, but it gets resolved (more or less) pretty quickly. the story is still fluffy & relaxing to read. i'm only a bit disappointed that tojo's experience being treated as madonna is never explored much.

They are soooo cute!!!! I love them both so much and I love that they’re so caring towards each other and very open with communication! The topics bejng discussed in this volume are very serious and I’m amazed with how the author handled it. Can’t wait for the next one!
