Omegas aren’t supposed to hit rock bottom, everyone knows that. Yet, somehow, that’s exactly where Jessa Morrow ends up after fleeing her abusive exes.
Alone, broken, and homeless, the only way she’ll survive is by masquerading as a beta. She doesn’t trust anyone and is determined to succeed on her own, at least until she’s offered help from the person she should trust least of an alpha.
Alessandro Costa is different from any alpha Jessa’s ever genuine, caring, and resigned to a life of solitude. He’s been content running the Italian restaurant he built from the ground up, but that all changes when Jessa winds up at his bar, desperate for a helping hand. She sends his long-untouched alpha instincts into overdrive.
However, one sweet act isn’t enough to earn Jessa’s trust again, and Alessandro has yet to learn how dire Jessa’s situation truly is…
What will happen when the truth comes to light?
Alpha Daddy is a standalone age gap contemporary omegaverse in the Honeyverse.
Fun! The relationship was super cute and I loved how protective Alex was. He also didn't flip out when he found out Jessa was hiding something from him with a good reason.
“For everyone who’s ever dreamed about getting railed by their hot older boss. This one's for you.”
Yano, R.K. Pierce never misses. I’m not usually interested in Omegaverse, but THIS RIGHT HEREEEE!? Phew 🥵
Alessandro had me blushing and ready to do what he commanded and I wasn’t even who he was directing his words to. He is a strong, masculine, takes-charge man and I genuinely couldn’t help the butterflies I got whenever he talked or when we had his POV. I just adore when a man knows what he wants but allows the woman to take the reins… respect is so, so sexy. Alessandro is so, so sexy.
Jessa, our sweet Omega, Jessa. Her courage to leave her pack and break the bond was admirable. Her fierce need to be independent is something I can understand, and though I obviously did not live the same experiences as her, her character spoke to me a lot. I loved her fight, I loved her strength, and I loved being on her healing journey with her. I loved even more that she allowed Alessandro in, though at a glacial pace, because it brings me hope I’ll, too, one day find a healing relationship like the one they had.
I really enjoyed knowing Jessa had kept her omega scent blocked and that the connection they felt with one another was based off truly getting to know one another. They complimented on another so well- Alessandro with his stability and the safe space he provided, and Jessa with her light challenges and fierce need to be independent. These two found the strengths of one another so utterly attractive, everything else they learned about one another was just added bonuses. The age gap wasn’t even something I thought about, though it was brought up often. They flowed so well together, I couldn’t put this book down. I ate it UP.
10/10, but I honestly am obsessed with anything from R.K. Pierce.
I received an ARC of this story in an exchange for an honest review. THANK YOU!
Omegas are to be loved, protected and taken care of by an Alpha or pack of Alphas but there are always a few apples in the bunch.
Jessa has hit rock bottom after severing the bond she had with her ex abusive mates. No job, No money, no home, she is relegated to living in her car losing hope everyday masquerading as a Beta. Until a chance meeting with Alessandro changes her life for the better. Alessandro's Alpha instincts naturally makes him want to look out for Jessa but he is having a hard time getting her to accept his help and provision.
This was a story of second Chances and finding your own way. Jessa had given up on trusting Alpha's and continue to try making it on her own. Hiding under the guise of being a Beta, Jessa keeps her head down and focuses on saving enough money so that she can make her next move.
When Jessa's past resurfaces she is faced with the possibility of her secret being discovered and losing any chance of the new life she has been working to build. Will she face an uncertain future alone or will Alessandro claim her as his Omega once and for all.
I receive an ARC copy of this book and am leaving a review voluntarily.
Sweet but jaded omega hurt by those who were supposed to protect and love her.
Aged lone alpha thinking he’s past the point of needing a partner but enjoying the daydream.
The urges he just can’t fight really should tell him something but sometimes people really just want to ignore the truth in front of them. We ALL do it.
The two of them drive me a little mad with they’re tell them don’t tell them thing. Open communication is key to a good relationship!!!!
Aside from all the angst this was a great story. He definitely made me feel warm and gooey with a lot of the thoughts he had about her and the way he always tried to take care of her. I’m so glad she finally let him.
I was immediately sucked into this story and couldn't put it down!! I loved Jessa!! She's tough, resilient and a fighter! Despite the unfortunate situation she finds herself in, she doesn't want to depend on anyone but herself. As easy as it would be to give up, she doesn't. She was unlike any omega I've ever read and it was refreshing! I was immediately smitten with Alex! He's an alpha, but so sweet and caring. He immediately is drawn to Jessa and has the overwhelming, natural urge to take care of her. However, he initially fight it. He's completely respectful of her wishes and boundaries. But once she gives him the green light, WOW!!! These two together were fire!! This will be one I re-read because I loved it so much!!
Really what I needed. So glad to have found this author! The FMC had a toxic pack before and she ran away from them. They really did a number on her where she’s working on herself esteem but she’s independent she’s not going to rely on others. Faye brings her to the MMCs restaurant where they meet when she is getting a drink after a bad day. Where he learns a little about her and decides to help her because he’s drawn to her. He gives her a job, things are looking up for her. They banter and get closer together. She is keeping a big secret from him that she is afraid will change their relationship. I did think it was frustrating that she would change her mind when telling the secret to him.
Overall I was so happy in the end for them! Would be so cool to see more of their future together! Definitely want to read more of the authors work.
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Do not pick up this book to read at night when you have to work the next day. I stayed up reading until 1am and was late to work. It was so good that it was a one sitting read! Those books are always my favorites ❤️ I really enjoyed this story. The ending seemed a little rushed, but that may have just been my dream for the book to never come to an end. I would have loved to see Jessa’s Omega instincts come out more once she was discovered. She went into heat, and it was glossed over. We hardly saw any whining, true nesting, begging, etc. That is my favorite part of Omegaverse, so I did drop my rating down to 4 stars. Otherwise, the book was very well written and some concepts were unique to this book (the honey trap was a nice touch). I do love an author taking an existing universe and making it their own. I will definitely be picking up future books from this author. Thanks for the ARC, and I hope to read more from this author in the future!
an easy quick read about omega jessa who's on the run from her abusive exes and has disguised herself as a beta. she meets alpha alessandro who offers her a job. he's immediately protective of her and he was so sweet and gentlemanly with her.
daddy kink scenes
My instinct is to protect, to comfort, although I’m not sure when I got so fucking defensive of betas. This one is obviously something special, even if I don’t understand why. I’d kick her ex’s ass and drag his face across the pavement outside just to make her smile.
I want to pull her close, staring down into her hypnotic baby blue eyes until she believes every word of my promise, that I won’t let anything happen to her.
She might not be mine, but she’s mine to protect, and I’ll do just that.
“I don’t want to rush with you,” he groans in my ear. “I want to take my time, fuck you slowly until you fall apart.”
She has every part of me wrapped around her finger, and she has no idea. If she tells me to jump, I’ll ask how high. I’d give her the world if she asked, but I know she never will.
“You’re so wet for daddy.” His voice is gravelly, heavy with lust. “So perfect, babydoll.”
“You are not useless,” he says, his voice stern but soft. The intensity in his gaze makes my chest flutter, and I’m frozen still as long as our eyes are locked. “I enjoy making breakfast for you. That’s why I do it.”
“You’re safe here,” I say, hesitating before running my hand across her back. It takes everything in me to keep from squeezing her tightly and catching her lips with mine. I want to drag her upstairs into bed with me, where I can hold her all night and ward off any bad dreams that might plague her.
“Thank you,” she finally mutters into my shirt, and I’m able to breathe a little easier. “Anytime, babydoll.”
“Do you want Daddy to put you to sleep, babydoll?” he asks, cocking one of his gray eyebrows high. “Do you want me to fuck your pretty pussy until you’re too exhausted to walk back to your room? Is that it?”
“Then get on your knees and show me how a good girl begs for Daddy’s cock.”
“Beg for me, babydoll,” he taunts, his gaze darkening. “Tell Daddy how much you want his cock. You wanted it so badly, you snuck into my room for it, so show me.”
"It's been a long time since I've let anyone cook for me, much less take care of me," he says as he starts to eat. "I think it was a conscious decision to keep anyone away. I didn't want to let anyone make themselves permanent."
“I feel safe with you. That’s more than I’ve had in a long time.” He smirks. “Good. I want you to feel safe with me. Does being with me make you… happy?” “You’re incredibly strong and perfectly capable. I just want to take some of the burden off your shoulders. Life gets heavy after carrying everything alone for so long.”
“It’s just a car,” he chuckles. “I’m more concerned about your safety, babydoll.”
“I told you before, you don’t have to do anything alone,” he says, tilting my chin up so I meet his gaze. “You’ll never be alone as long as I’m here, babydoll.”
“Because you know I would do anything for you, go to any lengths for you, regardless of a bond or match. I choose you because I need you, not because an instinct tells me I have to, and to me that’s much more valuable. Don’t you agree?”
“If I had it my way, you’d never go to work ever again.” I giggle, nestling my face against Alessandro’s chest. “Good thing you don’t always get your way, huh?” He tilts my chin up so I meet his narrowed eyes. “Good thing I want you to do what makes you happy,”
“As long as you know you don’t have to. I’ll take care of you, babydoll.”
“You are perfect for me, Jessa.” The sincerity in his gaze makes my heart stutter. “Everything about you was made for me. I’ve never been so sure about anything.”
“This is a new beginning for you, for us. A place to start over. It’s not connected to any bad memories or danger. It’s a place for you to be content, safe, and happy,” he goes on, and I feel my chest tighten.
“I love you, Jessa,” he says, pulling me closer until nothing exists but the two of us. “You’re so strong and independent, and I don’t want to diminish any of that. I never want you to think I’m trying to buy your affection, but I will do everything in my power to make sure you’re safe and at peace. This is your peace.”
“Yeah, but I’m your asshole, and you’re stuck with me forever.” He laughs as he pulls away and rubs his thumb over his mark on my neck. “Forever’s an awfully long time.” “Somehow, I doubt it’ll be long enough.”
Um, yes please! 4.75 stars 🤩 Let me start off by saying I in no way have a Daddy kink whatsoever and tend to avoid books with 'Daddy' in the title like the plague but decided to give it a shot for two reasons: ✅ I'm a sucker for amazing covers (this one is freakin' gorgeous) ✅ I'm always looking for a new omegaverse world to get lost in I do not regret my choice in any way as this book surpassed my expectations. While it did not change my view on Daddy kinks, I did fall in love with a new OV world that I'm anxious to read more of.
I absolutely adored Jessa and Alessandro's love story. You have an omega on the run, hiding as a beta, starting over to escape a difficult past and a lone alpha with a sad past, who pours himself into his work, just doing the day to day. I love stories where certain someones (or the universe) intentionally or unintentionally, bulldoze their way into peoples lives to where they spark a necessary change in their way of living. Alessandro and Jessa were each other's sparks and the aftermath of that flame was beautiful to see. That being said I would've liked a little more of conflict resolution i.e. them talking and working through the lies and incident with her old pack a bit more.
Now these are just my preferences as an Omegaverse lover so I don't think they would take away from your reading experience but we get plenty of the alpha tendencies, a little more of her omega instincts sprinkled in before and after those lies came to light would've been great. ***Edit: read the added 1k words which weren’t in the ARC and upped my ⭐️.25 bc we get a bit more of her omega instincts.*** Also, knotting is a very distinct Alpha/Omega dynamic, the way it came across (at least from Alessandro's POV) is that any beta can take a knot. I think it takes away from the unique qualities of that pairing. I enjoy more of the OV's where if the beta is capable of a knot it's bc of certain circumstances like fated mates or it's something that needs to be worked up to and not a casual thing bc essentially they're not built the same way as omegas. Again, this is just my personal preference and in no way did it take away from this amazing story. I might just skip any books in this world where the MC is a true beta bc of the casualness of it.
If you're like me and not a fan of the 'Daddy' kink I encourage you to still give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised like I was. I've been trying to take a view now of giving it a go before I judge or shy away from it in the future. There are books that I love which had 'Daddy' in them but it was more so in a playful manor. I was more worried this one would be obnoxious with it and throw it around like an annoying couple who use the pet name 'Babe' too much. Thankfully that was so not the case. I'd say this was more on that playful side with some of it being a true kink. Only once did I think 'that's a no for me' but I've come to realize I miss out on amazing stories bc of one or two things I dislike so I kept on truckin' and was happy I did. 🙌
*I was a lucky one to receive an ARC and this is my honest review.
There’s something so soft and delicate about her– it makes being rough impossible . I want to take care of her, to worship every inch of her beautiful body and carefully make her come apart as many times as I can. I want her to enjoy every second of me fucking her, loving her the way her ex never could. -Alessandro
Alpha Daddy A HoneyVerse Novel By R K Pierce 302 pages Currently on Kindle Unlimited in the USA. Publication date July 30th, 2023 RKPierce.com a.co/d/epdzrBw
I received a copy of this book from the author, and this is my review. Please, watch out for possible spoilers, including but not limited to, TW/CN/Etc.
Possible TW, Tropes, and Genres Mature, Spicy, Romance, Omegaverse, contemporary, Age Gap (17yrs), Alpha Daddy, Sweet FMC, use of drugs to hide designation, Rejected Mates (exs), Abuse from former pack (physical and mental mentioned), Liquor, Houseless (living in her car), Daddy Kink, Heat, Knotting, Fated Mates, Loss of partner (death, off pace) Loss of Pack (disbanded after omega passed off page), and possibly more.
I absolutely loved this sweet, spicy and bit kinky omegaverse book.
This is the first time I have read an omegaverse, where a Pack has disbanded after an omega has died. I have read rejected mates before, which I am so glad that she rejected those guys! They were abusive butts, who never deserved her. But, the disbanded pack thing, this is the first I have read that. And I really liked the way that R K Pierce handled it.
Truthfully, I loved the way that R K Pierce handled everything in this book. The spice, the tension, the bits of humor, even the abuse/abusive exs. They were all handled so well, and in such real ways. In ways that made you love, and hate the characters even more.
Like, I loved Jessa from the start, but as the story went on, I enjoyed her strength and want to be able to take care of herself just as much. I loved how much Alessandro liked Jessa from the get go, but just didn’t get why. He was happy to just feel love for someone else, and that want to care for someone again.
I am so glad that they got there HEA, they both so deserve it.
If you enjoy Omegaverse Spicy Romance Age Gap (17 yrs) Alpha Daddy Vibes Sweet FMC who is just trying to find and heal herself Touch her and Die vibes Then you HAVE TO READ THIS

This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The plot is a barely held together mirage, that's not even a little believable. The pinch points are made up from the same excuse: she's scared so she acts dumb and it causes random issues for her.
What's it about? Basically, she ran away from the "bad alpha's" and ever since she's been pretending to be a beta instead of the omega she truly is. She meets an alpha bartender who treats her great but doesn't trust him. Enter bad alpha's again.
That's the entire book, not kidding.
The majority of the book is made up of the same thoughts repeated. Telling the reader that she's scared, and reasoning out why she thinks it's okay to do blank dumb thing. I'm talking pages and pages of thoughts that aren't broken up by anything.
It also contradicts itself many times. Such as the "oh no the bad alpha's are here scene" where she's a waitress that has to take their order. She tells herself that they'll never leave without her & never get bored enough to leave even if she makes them wait, then turns right around and says she'll just make them wait until they get bored and leave. Like what? Make it make sense.
The motives for her choices are ridiculously unbelievable. I skimmed to get to the end.
A developmental editor, or even beta readers, could make a real difference in fixing the obvious mistakes. Looking at things like structure, plot, POV, dialogue, setting, theme, tone, character- utilizing practical applications such as book maps, content timeline's, graphing action (internal/external) and character arcs.
Overall, the book just wasn't for me. But I tried to rate it fairly knowing not every reader enjoys the same thing. Please don't let this discourage you from trying a new author or book. My life experiences and wants may be different from yours. And there were some sweet/cute parts in there.
As always, read whatever makes YOU happy. And then tell me about it lol ~@Joquebookreviewer~
Jessa Morrow flees her abusive exes, living in her barely functioning car, pretending to be a beta, hoping they don’t find her. Alone, broken, and homeless, the only way she’ll survive is by masquerading as a beta. She’s terrified by her attraction to Alessandro, but she accepts the job he offers her anyway.
Alessandro Costa is much older, he is used to being alone. He’s built a life and a business for himself. He’s different from any alpha Jessa’s ever met, he is kind, honest and caring to everyone. But she still doesn’t trust him, because he is still an alpha, she keeps waiting for his fist. Alessandro is drawn to Jessa, (he can be my Daddy any day!), he is calm and accepting of Jessa’s fears. He understands that she’s been badly abused and that causes her to make decisions based in those experiences and fear.
I just love R.K. Pierce, this is not your typical omegaverse novel, maybe because Alessandro was older or because Jessa had to deal with issues of abuse, the two of them had to work together to get through their issues. Because they both had them. R.K. definitely knows how to bring the heat, but I also appreciate that she brings tension to her characters as well. It kept my attention through the whole book, I felt like I was on the edge of my seat waiting for Jessa’s jerk exes to show up and hurt her or take her. It was horrible. Such a good book! I started it and finished it in one sitting.
This book is about our FMC Jessa and MMC Alessandro. Jessa has been through a lot, and Daddy Alessandro wants to protect her. He can't tell why he feels such a draw to her, but his Alpha senses tell him more meets the eye. He is gentle, caring, and oooh so yummy. I give it 4.5 stars, only because Jessa was driving me crazy . Her fear and pain controlled her life. I understood, but it frustrated the hell out of me. Maybe because I wanted him, lol. He reminded me so much of my hubby, that my omega senses were tingling 🤣. Spice level was her usual and was perfect for this book.
I loved how he wasn't your typical alpha. This was a great change from typical omegaverse books. It was genius making him older because the wisdom shows throughout the book. He wasn't making stupid. "I am Alpha... do what I say" comments. He actually showed Jessa the other side of Alphas. The side that we don't see often. No threats, no Alpha tone to force her to obey. Just acceptance, strength, and love.
It was perfect.
My favorite line is, "Tears would pool in her eyes as she tried not to gag, but she’d take it all like the good girl she is."
Title: Alpha Daddy Author: R.K. Pierce Stars: 5/5⭐️ Spice: 5/5 🌶 Spoilers: No This Book Left Me Feeling: 😱🥵🥰😭 (<-- Happy Tears) Genre: Contemporary Omegaverse Tropes: Age Gap, Boss/Employee, Alpha/Omega, Knotting, Chosen Mates.
My Favourite Quotes: "Dirty socks, Damon’s grandma–sorry Barbara–sour milk." "I'm only going to ask this once," he says slowly, punctuating every word, and I brace myself for the worst. "Are you trying to get my knot inside you?” "I feel like Jessa, and that’s saying something, considering I lost her for a long time. She’s finding her way back, slowly, a bit at a time." And every single time the word Babydoll was uttered.
About The Book: Alpha Daddy is a sweet omegaverse standalone romance all about second chances and standing up for yourself, while not denying yourself world class D when it comes your way.
What Will Stay With Me: The message that with a little help and kindness you can change someone's life for the better.
Review: I love these characters with the bones of me. Jessa is such a strong, inspirational person. A badass with a heart of gold that you can't help but completely adore and root for. Alessandro is... dreamy. A silver fox with an internal dialogue I could never tire of reading and has the kindest and most caring soul.
The story is sweet as honey and just as sticky cause it's gonna get you hooked and you're gonna be stuck to your kindle until your done. The quotes I've put are just the tiniest fraction of what I had saved when I was done reading because every part of it made me feel some kind of way and all of it was quote worthy. Whether I was laughing, crying, sitting bolt upright in shock or yelling at my phone, I loved every second of this book.
I guess I’ll know for sure how she feels if she ignores me tomorrow at work, if she leaves again without saying goodbye, and that’ll have to be enough. I promised her I only wanted to help, but I never promised her I wouldn’t have feelings for her.

My first RK Pierce read and it was definitely a home run. I loved Jessa and Alessandro as leads and that Alpha has joined my book boyfriends harem. Inserting a gif of me biting a pillow before fainting.
Most of the book deals with the progression of their relationship; Jessa trying to trust an Alpha again after the trauma of her past while posing as a beta, and Alex confused by the fierce protective feelings a ‘beta’ is rousing in him. He wants to take care of her without ever trying to impose himself. HE IS PERFECT!! I totally understand our FMC’s reluctance but that doesn’t mean I didn’t want to shake her a few times.
I liked how the issue with her previous pack was resolved— that showdown gave me a good cackle. And the fact that they were not scent matches, but chosen mates, was lovely.
Jessa is on the run, as an omega she bonded with a pack of alphas who were abusive. So she breaks the bond and runs, disguising herself as a beta. She is living out of her car and running out of money. After being turned away from a job interview, she goes into a restaurant and bar to have a drink and meets Alessandro. Alex owns the restaurant she enters and is immediately attracted to Jessa, but he is 17 years older than her. He decides to help her out a little when he hears her story. Throughout the story, you hear from both how attractive theses two find each other, but they both have fears about what a relationship between the two of them could lead. Then Jessa's exs show up trying to make her life difficult and possibly to take her back with them. I really liked the story, poor Alessandro does not find out until the very end that Jessa is an omega in hiding, but he still accepts her so that they get their happily ever after. My only complaint was I thought the end was tied up to quickly. I liked these characters, I wanted a little more of their love story after they are finally together.
The first book in the new Honeyverse series by E.K Pierce, was a sweet and spicy ride that left me wanting more of this authors works!
Omega Jessa is down on her luck after leaving a bad situation. Living out of her car and in serious need of some form of security in her life, after breaking the mating bond and leaving her pack Jessa is desperate to blend in as a Beta and just wants to live her life without the overwhelming connection that came with her previous Alphas. Then she meets an older Alpha that makes her entire body and soul light up.
Alpha Alessandro is sexy, successful, solitary, and a total Silver fox. Alex is content to run his restaurant and live his life without any entanglements. He's happy behind his bar and managing the Italian restaurant that reminds him of his favorite place, that is until a fiery little Beta that makes all his Alpha instincts go a bit haywire walks in, down on her luck and looking for a job.
These two form an instant connection and even without the Alpha/Omega designations sparks fly and forever love seems like it's finally in reach. Can the connection these two form withstand the truth and turmoil that Jessa's lies and mistruths are sure to cause?
This book was a seriously cute and sweet love story that left me wanting more. The characters grew and changed throughout the book and the bond that they formed was everything I could want in a omeagaverse story. While the book was sweet, the spice was spicy!
Omegaverse is not usually a type of book I would pick up, but I'm so glad I did for this one. It blew to the top for any of the omegaverses I have read. I will definitely follow this honeyverse series.
I loved reading Jessa and Alessandro's story. The banter and chemistry between them made this book so enjoyable and a fast read. Jessa is an omega hiding from her exes as a beta, trying to get back on her feet and fighting for her independence. Alessandro is a lone alpha and restaurant owner who is looking to expand his working world. After an unfortunate situation, Jessa and Alessandro meet, and the chemistry is off the charts, but both fight to keep things platonic for both their sakes (But as we all know, it doesn't always work 😉). The banter will leave you laughing and smiling. The tension and conflict will leave you on the edge of your seat. The spice is 🥵🥵 have fun reading that 😊.
RK seamlessly created a fast-paced, wonderful read with great world building, amazing character development, and captivating relationships and conflicts. I can't wait for the next book in this world.
Thank you so much to RK Pierce for the opportunity to read and review this book!
Alpha Daddy is a contemporary omegaverse and book one in the Honeyverse series. After running from a terrible alpha, Jessa is an omega on the run. She’s been living out of her car and desperately needs a job. After being disappointed with another cancelled interview, Jessa wanders into a bar for a drink and finds more than she bargains for when she meets the charismatic alpha bartender
This book was such a fun read! I’m relatively new to omegaverse and this was such a sweet story! Jessa was a great character and I loved how strong she grew throughout the story. And Alessandro was just absolutely perfect for her!
Overall this was a four star read for me. I’m not usually a fan of Daddy kinks but I trusted it because I love the author and this one was really enjoyable! This book definitely had some darker themes, so absolutely check your triggers, especially if you’re sensitive to stalking, harassment, etc. (not by the MC) This book definitely had its spicy scenes throughout the story, so three flames for spice!
If you’re a fan of possessive males, sweet romance, low angst, light kink elements and age gap tropes, definitely pick this one up!!
This story showcases how finding the right person can help heal your soul, and help guide you towards finding the parts of yourself that you thought you lost. That’s what happens to Jessa, an omega who’s recently left her abusive pack behind, when she meets Alessandro/Alex, an alpha who is drawn to her & feels the need to help her in any way he can. Jessa is pretending to be a beta, but that doesn’t stop the pull that she & Alex feel towards one another. Jessa fights the feeling hard though due to the abuse she endured, but Alex is a true alpha who never wavers & treats her as she always should’ve been treated, even without knowing her omega status. You can almost feel the heat that generates from the chemistry these two have together 🔥 Will that be enough though when reality crashes down on Jessa? Will Alex still want her once he realizes she’s been hiding such a huge part of herself from him? Will her old pack truly let her go so that she can move forward with her life? You’ll truly feel pulled into Jessa’s story from the very first chapter, and you won’t wanna stop until you see her get her HEA ❤️
I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️,5 Spice : 🌶🌶🌶️
- Omegaverse - Age gap (17 years) - Broken omega - Lone alpha - Workplace romance - Touch her and die
It is not my typical read but knowing the author and how I always love her books I gave it a try and was not disappointed.
I devoured this book. The story is so well written that it sucks you in from beginning to the end.
I really loved the main characters. RK did an incredible job describing them, giving us insight, backstories and an amazing character development. I truly connected to Jessa and Alessandro. Jessa was a sweet but strong character while Alessandro is caring, protective, possessive and everything Jessa needs without knowing. The fact that he is older makes sooo much sense and adds to the story. He is not your typical alpha.
The plot and the (amazing) spice are perfectly intertwined.
This book is so cute and sweet so I definitely recommend it !!
I've been stuck lately, unable to find something I really fall for and read in a frenzy...until Alpha Daddy. Both characters felt fully fleshed out, their chapters were equally satisfying to read. And the smut was steamy. Jessa's trauma was palpable. I loved that she didn't just get over it. It was realistic. She's a strong FMC without being a jerk about it. Alessandro, ah, dearest Alessandro has me wanting to read more age-gap novels. He was exactly what our Jessa needed, even if she didn't know that until later on. He's yummy and protective, gentle yet firm, an alpha that isn't just a straight up cocky arse.
Complaints: my only issue is the ending felt rushed. I felt like everything just sort of happened quickly and we didn't get enough time to really savor it all. I would have looooved more scenes from Jessa's heat but maybe I'm just greedy.
All in all, I loved this book and hope there will be more books in this universe!
I recently found R.K. Pierce as an author when I won an FB competition, and I was HOOKED. Monsters are always fun. But beyond that, I was beyond excited to see that she was turning her writing brilliance to the omegaverse. Part of that reason is because Pierce creates such realistic characters. I immediately knew how Jessa felt from the first line. She felt so real to me, and I could sympathize with her because I've been in similar situations. Alessandro was also incredibly real. Sure, he owns the bar that Jessa ends up working at, but he's not afraid to get his hands dirty. In fact, he's the bartender when we first meet him!
Not gonna lie, he also makes one hell of a Daddy. And he's so very yummy.
Seriously, though. This book is amazing. I got my hands on an ARC copy and read it in about three hours. And I've read it four times since. Go read it. Then go read all the others.
I have read many different Omegaverse authors and R.K Pierce is a breath of fresh air.
* 17 Year age gap * Contemporary OV * Workplace Romance * A sexy, Italian MMC * Touch her and di3 vibes * Broken Omega * Kn0tting, nesting, heat and all the yummy details you love of OV Loved the fact that this isnt your standard omegaverse story where the Omega ends up with a large pack but instead ends up with a single alpha. Jessa Morrow is a down on her luck Omega that escaped from a bad situation and Allesandro Costa is an Alpha that cant understand why he cant take his mind of his new Beta employee. All he asks is for one night than she can decide their future. The banter in the book is great and Daddy Allesandro is everything. I wouldn't classify this as a high angst story. There is some drama but the whole book isn't angsty. This was a brilliant read and cannot wait for the next in the series
This was a very cute age gap alpha \omega romance. I absolutely adore the protective but super sweet alphas in books like this so alessondro will be a new favorite of mine. He was so thoughtful and kind not to mention that hot dirty talk! I will admit I was not a total fan of jessa. She was so wishy washy. I get why she was,.but I guess it still made her character a bit hard for me to fully like. I enjoyed her banter and her being independent but at the same time she made some decisions that just didn't fully make sense because she was being stubborn instead of smart and she was a runner for sure. The couple had great chemistry but I felt didn't truly commit to each other till the end and then it was wham bam and done, story over. I wish we could have gotten a little more with them actually being together but overall it was a good book. It made me laugh, made me angry, and also made me swoon so not bad lol
