En salvaje compañía

Rate this book
The dark side of reality emerges in unforgettable poetic images. A priest, Don Xil, explains to a young farmer, Rose, that the beautiful women in the paintings on the walls of the church are sinners. A mouse, Matacáns, a cunning hunter in his first life, is caught by a cat that is none other than bagpipe player and anarchist Arturo de Lousame. They all speak: people, animals and birds recreate the universal identity of feelings. Their voices, full of humor and tenderness, intertwine this great novel.

Drawn into this book on so many levels. The characters, history and themes left me wanting more. Magical, historical and belivable.
