The promoter who worked with Squeeze, R.E.M., and other bands recounts his youth in Syria as the son of a CIA agent, his experiences in the music business, and his relationship with Sting and other performers. 25,000 first printing.
This book is so interesting. It's about the music industry for the most part. If you are a fan of the Punk or New Wave music from the 80's you will completely enjoy this. Ian Copeland lead such an amazing life and had a hand in almost every band I loved in the 80's. Not only that, he came from a really unique family with great stories of his youth.
