"Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis" is the last book in a series by Kevin Missal. I haven't read the other books, but that didn't stop me from enjoying this one.

I'm a big fan of the original Sinbad stories, so I was really excited about this book. And I'm happy to say, it lived up to my expectations. It's an exciting story with interesting characters. They're not perfect, which makes them more real and relatable. The story keeps you engaged with twists that you don't see coming. I couldn't stop reading and finished it quickly because the writing is smooth and to the point.

I really loved this book, but I think I'll go back and read the other books in the series to get the full story. Reading them in order might help me understand things better. I might even update my review once I've read the whole series.

In summary, "Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis" is a great adventure. Whether you're new to the series or a long-time fan, it's worth a read. The characters and plot are exciting, and I'm eager to explore the rest of the books in the series.

About the book

Hey readers let me give you a tour on this book which comprises of tales we had heard from our ancestors many times whenever we told them to tell a tale they use to tell us stories about Sinbad, Aladin and the Ali baba and the forty thief.

In this book you will come to know all those stories comprises to make a story to give a thrilling experience to the readers.

It's been an amazing journey reading this wonderful book and I am grateful that I picked this.

I am thrilled to say that the author has done a incredible job by putting out this story.

The author has added lots of twists and merge some old stories into one story and made Sinbad hero of the era.

I really appreciate how Author has connected the story with the Norse mythology without creating any ruckus and havoc.

Author has also merged the story about multiverse and that is the most beautiful thing in this book we come to see the variants of Sinbad in multiple realm.

I am excited for the movie on this series and Kevin has done a marvelous job, loved this book thoroughly.

Glimpse in a blink

Iblis has been risen and this time no one knows about this only Sinbad knows and he tells that to everyone no one believes but deep down he knows that the evil has been planning something sinister and waiting for the right moments to strike.

Safeena is now working with her father Iblis as she has forgot her past with Sinbad because of the deal made with the god of Chaos Anansi.

Pressa the seer has foreseen artefacts which can help them to destroy the evil Iblis and for that he needs to travel in multiple realm and because the thing which are mention is not from this world, they are from other world and only one man can help them is Heimdal who had eyes and ears over each realm and he is the gatekeeper of Asgard, the realm of the divine.

Go grab the book and start sending love to the author for his work.

An exciting ride comes to an end!

Sinbad's rendition by Kevin Missal is an adventure worth reading. The book picks right up from where it left us in a painful cliffhanger. The characters get a bit of reminder, which proved helpful for someone like me who didn't have the opportunity to go back to book 2.

This book also uses the various mythologies and literatures of the world voraciously. But what I especially loved was the introduction of the multiverse. It's not that different from MCU, but much more exciting. Sinbad is up to face a formidable villain, and he knows strength wouldn't be enough. His cunning and intelligence is truly electrifying to read.

Seeing Sinbad defeated in the previous books had made me feel like he was losing the sly side of himself. But this book proved me wrong. He has grown, but he is also industrious and brainy. Compared to the Sinbad of book 1, he has become a better man and a wiser soul, and I think that is his greatest win.

I felt the book fell short in the climax in portraying Safeena. I would have liked to see more of her. But it ends well and I enjoyed the way she returns.

What I especially liked about the conclusion was that it is imbibed with the sense of loss. Every war has its casualty, no matter what it is fought with. A conflict is difficult, and its outcome not always completely happy. In a way, the story has matured too. For the young readers who have been following Sinbad, this is an important lesson. Life doesn't always come with every flower blooming, and even though you have a garden that's ripe and fine, the drooping buds will remind you of the journey.

This is a crisp, fast paced, and exciting book, to be enjoyed at the end of a hectic day. It's easy to read, and the various references makes it great for a starting point of foraying into their sources for the young readers.

In the ongoing book tour for #sinbadandtheriseofiblis , welcome to today's book stop ✨

I've loved this series previously and this concluding book of the trilogy did not fail in making me fall in love with it all over again.

I noticed that it is written in a way that even if you forgot about the elements of the previous books, you could still understand the story perfectly. Sinbad had faced repeated losses and his self confidence was dwindling..... With one last chance to defeat the ultimate foe, he embarks on a seemingly impossible journey - to retrieve ancient items that DO NOT EVEN EXIST in his world.
But wait? In his world..... What if they exist in other worlds? Yup, multiverse is true here.
BUT HOW DO YOU ACCESS THESE OTHER REALMS?
Simple, go to the Norse God who keeps an eye on all worlds - go to Heimdall (and also meet Loki, Cronus and other deities in the journey)

But hey! Best part for me!? Emir!!! (My teenage fascination with vampires was back at that moment, I've been dying to see Idris and Emir re-unite)

But.... Remember the red haired lady Fatima.... who is... (as you'd recall) Sinbad's mum.... We get to know why she is serving Iblis, and it's quite heart wrenching.....

Saving the world comes at a price... Which was paid. But we get to see Sinbad's story's different versions in 3 different worlds and see him slowly gaining back his charm (which makes Sinbad : SINBAD THE SAILOR).

This book is fast paced and you'll read whatever your craziest imagination can make you think. And you might even start questioning if the evil entity was really evil...
That's upto you...
So drop everything and go read this book!!!

"Sinbad: The Rise Of Iblis" is an exciting book about a hero named Sinbad. He's in big trouble because he betrayed his friends while trying to get more power. Now, a very bad devil is causing chaos, and Sinbad has to find three special things in different worlds to save our Earth. The story is full of action and keeps you interested.

The author, Kevin Missal, writes in a way that's easy to understand and makes the story fun. There are lots of cool references to different cultures and history that make the story even more interesting.

While some parts could be better, like the characters and the big ending, the book still teaches us important lessons about being brave and not giving up when things get tough.

In the end, "Sinbad: The Final Voyage" is a thrilling adventure with magic, mystery, and lessons about life. If you like exciting stories, you should give it a try.

Ahoy! Happy Sunday y'all.
Finally the final installment for Kevin Missal's Sinbad is here and IT'S IS MY TOUR STOP TODAY!!
I'm so so grateful to @penguinindia and @kevinmissal for this copy!! Guess what? It's signed with my name on it gtrhfeidndewqwosgswqam!

Alright, on to the review now.
Did I like it? No
But did I love it? OMG ISN'T THAT OBVIOUS??
Sinbad and the rise of Iblis is the third and the final installment in Kevin Missal's Sinbad Trilogy, and boi did I enjoy reading this. I read the second book only a year ago but I remember all the details all too clearly for it was very well-written. But this one was exceptionally good. The plotline, twists, the characters, the way the whole thing has been planned out and finally the ending - the author really let his imagination run wild !!
And talk about character development! Here's the thing - apparently Sinbad goes on certain quests in search of some artefacts and for that he has to jump from one realm to the next, which is already a pretty impossible task in itself and Iblis's intervention does not make it any easier. Now, here's why I loved this book even more - we've more than one Sinbad here, more than one Safeena here and practically there were several copies of all the crew members cuz there were parallel worlds which of course came with certain consequences.

And talking about how fast paced this was - I read the whole book in 2 sittings exactly - first 32 pages in one sitting and the rest in the next sitting, and mind you this is 232 pages long ! The book is suitable for the kids of course but did I enjoy it any less as an adult? NOPE. The best part was Sinbad being the best version of himself in this one. Also, the ending was super sweet and happy and all the positive adjectives summarised but it's a bittersweet and I cannot say why, cuz spoilers. Also, the very povs and lives of all the characters have been so well portrayed, minus Markus and Safeena.
After getting to know the backstory, I really hoped I'd get to see more of Markus, but well, I didn't. Also, I'm not sure if I'm being biased while I say this, but the last realm part of the story could've been stretched a bit more - seemed like the author was in a hurry.

Also, the characters the author has incorporated in this reimagining and the way that has been done - like OMG ! From Alibaba till Loki and Heimdall from the Norse Mythology - the author played really well with all the characters combined. You see, I was not exaggerating when I said that the author really let his imagination run wild with this one. One smooth trick to keep the reader hooked onto this book was this - every chapter was small, like really smol, but ended with a mind blowing cliffhanger or a new character was introduced, or a question was posed and automatically you'd jump to the next chapter wondering - " OH, WHAT HAPPENS THEN?? "

All in all, this is my favorite one from the trilogy. The lucid vocabulary, the way it has been reimagined and put together, the character development, the villain's side of the story and all the quests Sinbad has been going on - all in all makes me want to go back to being a child !!

'Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis' is the final instalment of the Sinbad series that all Kevin Missal's fan were eagerly rooting up for.

This sequel opens up with a scene where Sinbad accidently paves way for Iblis-the mighty devil-to rise. And Sinbad has to undo what he has done. He's left with a heavy heart for he has betrayed his crew. With the help of a seer he gets clues on how to deal with this 'out-of-his-realm' situation, but alas! the clues are all 'otherworldly' even literally. How will he deal with this? What challenges he will have to face? What new does Missal have in the box for his readers? Join Sinbad on his power-packed battle between humans and the evil deities now. Grab a copy to experience a rich amalgamation of mythologies, gods, creatures, demons, 'a villain who worships a hero', magical prowess, trickery, out-of-the-world adventure, mind-blowing technology, and travel all first hand with the last instalment of the Sinbad trilogy!

Coming to the text, the flow of the story is super smooth and fast-paced. You don't get enough time to mull over the suspense. The story unfolds rapidly and keeps the reader thoroughly engaged till the end. There are sub-plots that make the story even more interesting. I loved how effortlessly Kevin incorporated well known Arabian folk-heroes and villains and made them an integral part of the plot and not seem out of place with the story at all. The characters have been developed quite well and to the point - some even struck a chord in my heart! Even if someone were to read this part first, they would be able to connect the dots easily, for the intricate details Kevin has added with every links to the previous instalments.

I particularly enjoyed Kevin's play of humor in between the characters, which sort of lightened the mood as and when it was needed, even in the most horrific times. Every climax has been sketched with profound details such that you visualize our hero battling with demons and what-nots in front of your eyes. It's like scene after scene running in front of you. Kudos for the subtle use of imagery!

Keeping the story aside, Kevin has very ingeniously included life lessons and wisdom in between the lines for his readers to imbibe. A major part of conversation of Sinbad with his friends and even foes is thought-provoking and inspiring! How they deal with love (including a subtle reference to non-binary relations), loss, betrayal, and defeat has been very well portrayed through the text which brings me to the fact that there have been lines which every reader would relate to for they are a reflection of parts of human life. Other than some editing errors, fact repetition, and rushing into conclusion in the second-half, this book or I'd say this fully minted series gives the readers who can't wait for their beloved author to finish the story all the adrenaline rush that an adventure demands!

All in all, I really enjoyed this read. Overlooking some minute frailties you are definitely in for an amazing adventure with Sinbad that awaits. Recommended for young readers!

WOW! That was indeed an explosive conclusion to the trilogy! Binge-reading this trilogy and going on adventures with Sinbad and his ragtag crew was the respite I didn’t know I needed!

In the final instalment of the trilogy, we follow Sinbad, a Seid-turned-sailor and his crew of misfits and vampires on his journey to multiple realms(yes, you read that right, there is interdimensional travel in this one) to find three artefacts that will help him vanquish the risen devil, Iblis once and for all. Add some shocking revelations and Norse Gods to the mix, and you have one banger of a book! I will try my best to keep this review as spoiler-free as possible, because who likes spoilers?

Having grown up on stories like The Arabian Nights and being a huge fan of mythology right from childhood, this book was right up my alley! Kevin has taken all these stories we love and cherish and mashed them up into an amalgamation of funny(and sometimes questionable)characters and a super-fast plot that will you have you reading the book from cover to cover in one sitting! Be warned: pick up this trilogy ONLY when you have a lot of time on your hands, because you CANNOT stop reading!

The author’s writing style is smooth and simple and before you realise it, you’re flipping the pages at breakneck speed, bracing yourself for all the explosive action and craving for more! The chapters being short are an added bonus!

Reading the trilogy at a stretch made me realise just how much the characters have grown in the span of three books! I tend to have a soft spot for books with well fleshed-out characters and good character development and this book had me sighing with contentment. 😌 Who knew this team of some of the most incompatible yet somehow the most compatible people will always have a place in my heart for years to come? The theme of found family shone through the pages and I was low-key jealous of the bond this tight-knit group shared. Kudos on the queer rep too!

However, I would be lying if I said the climax was perfect. I expected the climax to be more action-packed and thrilling but it felt weirdly too convenient and hastily done. Needless to say, the story was wrapped up perfectly and gave all the characters the closure they deserved.

If you’re in the mood for a high-stakes fantasy with some intense, action-packed scenes that will have you biting your nails in anticipation, you know what to pick up next!

Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis" is a charming dream novel composed by Kevin Missal. The story is an inventive retelling of the exemplary Bedouin Evenings story, with a novel wind and present day components.

The story of the book focuses on the endeavours of Sinbad, a youthful mariner who puts off on an unsafe undertaking together to save his city against the rage of the evil presence Iblis. The hero, Sinbad, is agreeable and has areas of strength for an of obligation and resolve. His change from a customary mariner to a legend fighting inconceivable chances is really intriguing over the span of the story.

The story addresses its main interest group with unobtrusive clues on affection and selling out and with characters that are crude, genuine, and flawed. The personality of Sinbad particularly develops from book one to end of the series, making his personality diagram advancement intelligible.

Coming to the text, the progression of the story is really smooth and speedy. You don't get sufficient opportunity to consider the tension. The story unfurls quickly and keeps the peruser completely connected with till the end. There are sub-plots that make the story considerably seriously fascinating. I adored how easily Kevin consolidated notable Middle Eastern society legends and antiheroes and made them a necessary piece of the plot and not appear to be awkward with the story by any means. The characters have been grown very well and forthright - some even hit home in my heart! Regardless of whether somebody was to peruse this part first, they would have the option to draw an obvious conclusion effectively, for the mind-boggling subtleties Kevin has added with each connect to the past portions.

Author has innovatively united three unique characters of The Middle Eastern Evenings easily without them looking being constrained. Experiences in this book are far more perilous with Sinbad going to resemble universes. Lives as well as the eventual fate of that multitude of domains is in question as well.

I can give 4/5

You all have heard the stories of Sinbad, Alibaba and Aladdin but have you found all of them in a single story. I guess not. Read this one to find all of them sharing the stage.

In this final installment of the series, Sinbad and his crew is trying to stop Iblis from bringing apocalypse. They go to every extent to end his nefarious plan. From Norse to African to Egyptian Gods, making deals with trickster and devil himself and fighting with wyverns, yetis and other mythical beings and ultimately doing the impossible of realm hopping.

Loyalty is being tested in these turbulent times. Betrayal, greed, grief, sacrifice, manipulation and discovering oneself are all faced. Will Sinbad be able to stop Iblis in time? What will be the cost to stop the devil? Will he be able to get the love of his life back?

Wow! What a perfect ending to a remarkable story. Sinbad series is a YA fantasy adventure with three books. Each one of them outshining the previous one in new, unique and dangerous adventures.

Author has creatively brought together three different characters of The Arabian Nights effortlessly without them looking being forced. Adventures in this book are way more dangerous with Sinbad going to parallel worlds. Not only lives but the future of all those realms is at stake too.

This book is hard to put down. You will be hooked from the start. Easy language and fast pacing makes it an engrossing read. With the imperfectly perfect found family and all the mythical beings and adventures used ingeniously, you will crave more of Sinbad’s story at the end. But all good things come to an end and with that we bid adieu to Sinbad and his crew.

It is a fun and light read. You will love it. I highly recommend this series to all the readers especially fantasy adventure lovers.

By Fate and Fortune!!

PS - It will soon be coming as a movie. Read it before that so we can shout while watching it – “this did not happen in the book”.

🌟🌟🌟

It is the much-anticipated final installment of Kevin Missal's Sinbad series, but it falls short of the expectations set by its predecessors. While the premise of the story is intriguing, it fails to deliver a satisfying conclusion to the series.

The opening scene, where Sinbad accidentally paves the way for Iblis to rise, is promising. However, the execution of the plot is lacking. The story moves at breakneck speed, leaving readers with little time to savor the suspense or connect with the characters. The rapid unfolding of events robs the narrative of depth and emotional resonance.

The character development, while commendable to some extent, is often too brief and lacking in depth. Some characters are introduced and disposed of too quickly, leaving readers feeling detached. The play of humor, while attempting to lighten the mood, sometimes feels forced and out of place in the midst of life-threatening situations.

Kevin Missal's inclusion of life lessons and wisdom within the story, while well-intentioned, can come across as heavy-handed and didactic. The subtlety in conveying these messages is lost, and it feels like the author is trying too hard to impart a moral lesson. The story seems to throw everything into the mix without adequate explanation or context, making it difficult to follow.

The book is not without its flaws & a rushed second half, which can disrupt the reading experience. These issues could have been addressed to enhance the overall quality of the narrative.

In conclusion, "Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis" is a disappointing finale to what was initially a promising series. It struggles with pacing, character development, and the integration of various mythological elements. While there are moments of excitement and adventure, they are often overshadowed by the story's shortcomings. This book may not live up to the expectations of fans who have eagerly awaited its release.

Here is the 3rd and final book in Kevin Missal's Sinbad series, a gripping reimagination of the legendary sailor from the classic One Thousand and One Nights.

#plot
Everything is falling apart. The mighty devil Iblis has risen. Sinbad and his crew have failed in their mission to prevent Iblis from rising. Everytime Sinbad tries to right the wrong there is some or the other danger thrown at him. To add to the misery, two most precious people in Sinbad's life are on Iblis's side. Iblis wants to erase the humans from Earth and he will do anything in his power to achieve that. The only way to destroy him is to acquire the 3 objects of power. But these objects can only be found in the parallel universe.

Will Sinbad find these objects?? If yes, how? How will he enter the parallel universe ?

#bookreview
Sinbad And The Rise Of Iblis is a book filled with lots of adventures with elements like mystical creatures, teleporting, magic, pirates, parallel universe, norse mythology, underwater world, it even has Aladdin and Ali Baba and so much more. It was like a storm in a tea cup. To mix so many worlds together is no easy feet. I absolutely loved how Kevin has done this with so much ease. The excitement was well maintained with the ever present danger that Sinbad and his crew find themselves in. The pace of this story never slackened and that made it more gripping. With heart pounding twist and turns and an ending you dont see coming, the book is superbly plotted. I like the concept of different Sinbad in another worlds. As for the characters, they ring so true with their flaws. Altogether a satisfying read with a superb ending.

A book that will transport you into another world. Good for those who like to read magic mixed with lots of adventures. With easy language it makes it perfect for the young readers and beginners too.

Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis is the third and final book in the Sinbad series by Kevin Missal, a fantasy author who has reimagined the legendary sailor from the classic One Thousand and One Nights. The book follows Sinbad, a young man who has betrayed his friends and allies in his quest for power, as he faces the ultimate challenge of stopping the devil Iblis from destroying the world. To do so, he must travel to three different worlds and find three mystical objects that can help him defeat Iblis. Along the way, he encounters various dangers, monsters, and temptations, as well as his own inner demons and guilt.

The book is a fast-paced and thrilling adventure that keeps the reader hooked from start to finish. The author has created a rich and vivid world that draws inspiration from Middle Eastern culture and mythology, but also adds his own twists and creativity. The book is full of action, suspense, humor, and emotion, as well as some surprising revelations and twists. The characters are well-developed and complex, each with their own flaws, strengths, and motivations. Sinbad is a flawed hero who undergoes a lot of growth and redemption throughout the series, while Iblis is a formidable and cunning villain who has a backstory that makes him more than just a pure evil force.

The book is a satisfying conclusion to the Sinbad series, as it wraps up all the loose ends and delivers a powerful message about the war between good and evil, and the importance of friendship, loyalty, and forgiveness. The book is suitable for young adult readers who enjoy fantasy stories with a lot of action, adventure, magic, and mythology. The book is also a tribute to the timeless tales of One Thousand and One Nights, which have inspired generations of storytellers and readers alike

Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis is the third and final installment in the Sinbad Series by Kevin Missal. The devil Iblis is rising, and Sinbad must race against time, travel to three different worlds to find three different objects that will help him defeat Iblis. As he embarks on this adventure, he must overcome multiple challenges while facing monsters — a giant spider, a talking cat, and a group of pirates, his own insecurities, and inner demons.

Like the earlier two books in this series, this one also traces the journey of Sinbad on the high seas, with the story filled with action, adventures, suspense, and unexpected twists. The narrative is fast paced and at places does not even allow the reader time to think and evaluate the happenings. The backstory of Iblis is interesting and layered.

As with other books of the author, this world of Sinbad is similar what you would have read earlier but with a fresh take of the author by adding his own nuances and characters to the plot. For someone reading this book alone, the author makes sure they are still able to read it standalone though this is the third book. The story speaks to its target audience with subtle hints on love and betrayal and with characters that are raw, real, and imperfect. The character of Sinbad especially matures from book one to end of the series, making his character graph evolution coherent.

The third part brings this series to a smashing end with a well rounded off conclusion, with a theme that is equal parts thrilling and has a message of war between good and evil. Highly recommended for fans of young adult fantasy stories.

There is nothing more enjoyable than reading a fantasy book with a solid plot and characters. The narrative of Sinbad and the rise of Iblis is incredibly exciting and interesting.

This is the series' final instalment, and it was a suitable way to wrap out the journey.

Iblis, the terrible force responsible for the end of the world, emerges at the start of the sequel. A mistake from Sinbad’s end and he sets out to undo it. That appears to be impossible until he discovered a means to defeat Iblis with the assistance of the inter realm objects at the proper time. Visits to other realms, villains, and obstacles at every turn will keep Sinbad going.

Each chapter comes with a unique twist. Despite the large cast, the author gave each character the necessary weight in the story. Each character has been exquisitely crafted.

Numerous characters from your favorite childhood books as well as a few from the newest fandoms will be present. I don't want to reveal the characters since doing so would ruin the fun and the intrigue. You will appreciate the book because the author's imagination ran wild.

The chapters are brief to keep the reader engaged. Both children and adults will enjoy the language and writing style. It is a tale of adventure as well as of love, loss, failure, and finding family among the most unlikely team.

Although I haven't read the earlier books, I never felt like I was missing anything, and I thought that was really admirable. I'll be reading the earlier books to gain a sense of the overall adventure

Beneath a butterfly's delicate wings lies a world of tiny air currents and elements of chaos. In the third and final installment of this fantasy series, inspired by the legendary Arabian compilation 'Thousand and One Nights,' Sinbad continues his battle against chaos and its countless agents.

Having betrayed his friends and allies, Sinbad faces the daunting task of combating the ascent of Iblis, a violent power emerging from the depths below, along with its formidable, detestable minions. To save the day, he must locate three hidden objects, much like the intricate storylines often found in Marvel comics, scattered across alternate universes within his own existence.

Can Sinbad rekindle his friendships and rally his allies for the impending battle?
Will he successfully uncover these three elusive objects?
Can he ultimately defeat the malevolent Iblis?

"Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis" is a middle school fantasy where the lines between good and evil are clearly drawn. The hero emerges to save the day, while the villain meets their downfall at the hands of nobility. The narrative hurtles forward, packed with plot twists, providing little respite for the reader.

This book promises an exhilarating journey, especially for devoted Percy Jackson fans, and is soon to be adapted for television. If you seek a thrilling adventure within the pages of a book, this is a must-read.

🦹Just completed, Kevin Missal's "Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis" is a thrilling conclusion to the Sinbad series, offering readers an action-packed adventure filled with danger, betrayal, and redemption. The story picks up with Sinbad, now burdened by the consequences of his reckless pursuit of power. As the dreaded devil Iblis rises from his imprisonment, Sinbad must gather three mystical artifacts from alternate universes to save Earth from destruction.

🦹Author's writing is captivating and immersive, effortlessly transporting readers into a world teetering on the edge of chaos. The vivid descriptions bring each setting to life, from the depths of Qlitop to the alternate universes Sinbad must navigate. The pacing is relentless, keeping readers on the edge of their seats as they follow Sinbad's harrowing journey.

🦹The supporting characters are equally well-developed and add layers to the narrative. Their relationships with Sinbad evolve organically throughout the story, adding emotional weight to their interactions.

🦹After that, if we talk about the constructive aspects of the book, the cover of the book can undoubtedly be praised. Moreover, I enjoyed the simple language, the sweetness of the language, the simplicity. Overall, this is a satisfying conclusion to author's reimagination of the legendary sailor. With its gripping plot, well-crafted characters, and thought-provoking themes, this book will keep readers hooked until the very end.

What lies under the wings of a butterfly? Minute torrents of air and agents of chaos. After dancing through a myriad of obstacles in Sinbad and Rise of Israeli and finding the lost tomb of a long gone conqueror in Sinbad and Tomb of Alexander, Sinbad is still fighting chaos and it’s thousand agents in the third and final installment of this fantasy series, inspired from the legendary Arabic compilation 'Thousand and one night'.
Sinbad, having betrayed his friends and wellwishers, doesn't have the help he needs and wants to fight the rise of Iblis, a violent power from the underearth and its troops of fearsome, loathsome creatures. He needs three objects to save the day and all these objects are hidden, quite like Marvel storyline, in alternate universes within the one he himself exists.

Will Sinbad be able to win back recruit any of his friends to go on in the fight alongside him?
Will he be able to find these three objects?
Will he be able to defeat Iblis?

Sinbad and Rise of Iblis is a middle school fantasy with evil and good sides clearly demarcated. The hero saves the day and the villain falls at the hands of the nobility. The story races through plot twists after plot twists, offering little chance for a breather.
Its a fun ride for diehard Percy Jackson fans and is soon to be adapted for television. Pick up if you want a heady fun within the pages.

Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis" by Kevin Missal

The book continues the journey of Sinbad, a character burdened by his past actions and the loss of trust from those who were once close to him. The introduction of the Iblis, the devil from Qlitop, adds a new level of suspense and danger to the narrative, keeping readers engaged throughout. Sinbad is tasked to obtain three relics from three different worlds in order to defeat Iblis. It's quite an adventure to say the least.

Even though I loved the Missal's books and have been following the series since the very first book, this sequel blends various mythologies and literary references, creating a diverse reading experience. The introduction of the multiverse adds an exciting dimension to the story, and quite a treat for all Marvel fans such as myself. However, it wasn't just the multiverse. There's Cronus from Greek mythology, Heimdall and Loki from Norse mythology, Set from Egyptian mythology, even fairytale characters like Aladdin and Ali baba. For a short read all the characters felt squashed together. I wish the story was bit longer and allowed all the three tasks to be as detailed as the first one and provided breathing space to the characters and story.

The writing style is crisp and engaging. The story does not shy away from portraying the casualties of conflict and the complexities of life, adding depth to the narrative. The book is fast-paced and thrilling. However, I felt that the side characters didn't have much page space. The climax felt hurried and could have been developed further. Nevertheless, the book offers a satisfying conclusion to the series. It is a must-read for fans of fantasy and anyone seeking an exhilarating adventure filled with magic, mystery, and self-discovery, providing a captivating and satisfying end to Sinbad's journey.

📚 BOOK REVIEW
#SinbadAndTheRiseOfIblis

Sinbad: The Rise of Iblis is the third and last book in the Kevin Missal's Sinbad series. After reading the first two books I was impatiently waiting for the third book in line. The hero of the story is Sinbad the sailor who can also be called as saviour of the Earth.

This book revolves around the young boy named Sinbad who risks his life to save his own nation by the demon named Iblis. The character Sinbad is shown as very brawny and quick-witted. He is the perfect example of how a salior should be in order to protect his country. His capability of facing the enormous difficulties in this book and in the previous two books of the series makes me crave for more.

The author had perfectly plotted the story with the short chapters to make the readers hooked till the very end of the book. This book can be a perfect gift for youngsters who fantasize about super heroes these days. But the end makes the readers gloomy because along with the end of the book comes the end of the Sinbad series.

Overall it is an interesting and amazing book. A reimagination from the Classic of Arabian Nights. Readers who love to read fantasy and adventure should definitely go for it. Looking for more such books by the author.

Kevin is one of the brilliant author, possesses a remarkable talent for creating captivating stories. I've had the pleasure of reading a considerable amount of his work. His 'Kalki' series takes readers on an enthralling journey , Now 'Sinbad' series breathes life into the timeless adventures of the legendary sailor.

Kevin's writing style is truly marvelous, with the ability to transport readers to fantastical realms through vivid descriptions and rich character development. This book set an example of that.

Among his works, 'Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis' is a standout gem. Despite being categorized as a children's book, it defies expectations with its completely unpredictable and amazing narrative. The story centers around a hero who faces number of challenges to save the world. Kevin's storytelling is both simple and mesmerizing, making it accessible and enjoyable for readers of all age groups.

If you haven't read this , I wholeheartedly recommend immersing yourself in Kevin's imaginative world. You'll be enchanted by his masterful use of words and the compelling narratives he weaves. His books are not just stories, they are adventures waiting to be explored.

✨I hope to meet him one day and get all my books signed by him

"Heroes aren’t defined by titles; they are defined by their actions."

Book - Sinbad and the Rise of Iblis
Author - Kevin Missal
Pages - 234
Published - August 14 2023

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Sinbad has lost it all. His lady love is with the devil. The devil has risen. His crew doesn't trust him anymore. But that won't stop our hero, would it? And thus, Sinbad sails again, to save all that exists, and all that matters.
The writing is very crisp, and Kevin does justice to this light-hearted yet high-staked trilogy of his. The emotions he has conveyed in such a tight packed book is astonishing.
The characters are as always, very relatable and relevant in the 21st century. Kevin also introduces a few more characters and they, quite literally, 'steal' my heart.
I just wish there were some 80-100 more pages in this epic finale. It felt as if a few scenes were rushed and a few sequences were one step short of their total glory.
Kevin Missal throws at us one of the best villains he has written, with one of the best protagonists he has written. For the fans of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Sinbad trilogy is perfect.

I was looking forward to reading Sinbad Part III after finishing Parts One and Two. The great Sinbad and his crew had to thwart the return of Iblis. The narrative of how Sinbad's mother fell victim to the devil's cunning trap and the new twist in which Kevin also showed the positive aspects of Iblis were both revealed. Sinbad will stop the devil from carrying out his plan to commit mass murder, but there is only one way to do it. Three artefacts from several realms or parallel universes must be located by Sinbad. He attempted to get these by convincing the guard to go over into other worlds in order to stop Iblis. I've read all of Kevin's books, and almost always, the conclusion leaves me feeling a little let down, but this third installment of Sinbad is different. Amazingly written is the interaction between Sinbad's lover, his mother, and the devil. The action sequences, superb writing, and wonderful portrayal of Sinbad's relationship with his crew made it a really enjoyable read. If you frequently read Kevin's writing, you can finish the book in just a few of hours. looking forward to Kevin Missal's next fantastic novel.

The book's narrative centers on the daring exploits of Sinbad, a youthful sailor. He undertakes a dangerous quest to safeguard his city from the fury of the demon Iblis. Sinbad's journey takes him through a world of fantastical creatures, magical encounters, and epic challenges. I just love these types of books; they excite me and make me want to join the characters on their daring adventures.

Reading about the courageous exploits of characters like Sinbad fuels my wanderlust and sparks my imagination. I am thrilled to have found this book at a time when I was facing a major reading slump. It got me right back into my reading zone. The characters are all truly engaging, and they pique readers' curiosity about their endeavors. The story's pace was perfectly balanced, not too rushed nor too sluggish, allowing me to effortlessly follow along.

I still haven't read the previous 2 books in the series and i am regretting that, but i am remedying it very very soon. Kevin Missal might be my new favourite author.

The book's story revolves around the adventures of a young sailor named Sinbad, who embarks on a risky mission to save his city from the demon Iblis' wrath. Sinbad, the main character, is endearing and possesses a strong sense of duty and purpose. Throughout the story, his development from an ordinary sailor to a hero facing insurmountable challenges is rather amazing.

It's hard to follow the tale since it appears to toss everything into the mix without providing enough background or explanation. The dreaded devil, once imprisoned, has risen from the depths of Qlitop. With a legion of abominable creatures at his command, he now threatens to unleash unrestrained havoc upon the world.

Time is rapidly pushing us towards the abyss. Desperate, I must embark on a harrowing journey to acquire three mystical artefacts that can save our ravaged Earth. Yet, as fate would have it, these
objects can only be found within alternate universes, adding another layer of torment to my already tormented existence.

I am someone who is always fond of adventurous novels . May be it has something to do with my childhood where I was exposed to a wide variety of such work or my inherent inclination towards such books.

Sinbad is a fictional character that often finds space in various kids books . Having read the first two installments of this series , had a fair bit of idea how Kevin has built the world around him. But it is essential to have a proper conclusion penned out for such novels else it can be disastrous and author has done fairly well in this regard.

Sinbad life is shown in shambles here . He carries a regretful attitude for not being able to carry his friends closer. He feels he has let down his people but there is no breathing space as another evil force is demanding his attention. Will he be able to come victorious again or this time it will all end in misery? Grab the scintillating work to find out.

The author has done well in creating a figmentand infused a sense of his creative imagination in the characters. There are lessons to be learnt and the snippets of wisdom are there for everyone to see. There are junctures where the tale loses pace but as they say All's Well That Ends Well , so overall a pretty good job by the author

All in all an enjoyable read.

Kevin Missal, the book's author, must have had a keen sense of fiction if he could make the series' last volume stand out. As expected, the book is a superb illustration of literary genius. This read's impact left me stunned.

A fictitious figure named Sinbad frequently appears in children's novels. Having perused the initial two chapters of this series, I had a decent understanding of how Kevin constructed his surroundings. However, the author has done a good job in this area. Such novels must have a well-written finale, or else things could go horribly wrong.

I've always been motivated by his character to think outside the box and develop a risk-taking mindset.

I promise you that the writing and presentation captivated me during the entire read, keeping me engrossed in the story's compelling narration.
