Cassidy is in a very unhappy marriage with her high school sweetheart Chad. Once Chads dreams of becoming a major league baseball player fades and Cassidy finds out that there is less than a 3% chance of her having a child, he starts to treat her like crap!
When Cassidy's mother has a heart attack she and Chad move back to their home town so she can take care of her mother. Once back, Cassidy reconnects with her best friend Shelly and Shelly's younger brother Tyler. Ty and Shelly hate the way that Chad treats her but, she tries to down play is actions until one day a woman shows up at her door with a baby and tells Chad that it is his. He decides that he is going to move with the mother of his child and Cassidy isn't mad but, blames herself.
Ty has been in love with Cassidy forever and see her break up as his opportunity to finally make his move on her. Things quickly heat up between the two that is until Ty's ex-wife shows up and wants to get back together with him for the sake of their daughter. Chad has also approached Cassidy with regrets and wants to get back together after finally realizing how much she actually took care of him.
I've never read a book where two people deserve to be together more than Cassidy and Tyler. You will Absolutely Love this book, I can't recommend this book enough. This book will make you Angry, Laugh, Happy and Cry! This is a Must read and it is Well Written!!!

After reading and loving Worthy, I was so excited to see more of Laura's work... She didn't disappoint! This story was superb. Sweet, oh so touching, and pure innocent love, well at least in the beginning... Then not so innocent- was down and dirty, hot! The pain you feel for Cassidy and her trials in life is overwhelming. The epilogue had me in tears- very sweet, and a testament if true love!
