《六十四卦与历史:历史中的大智慧》不同于一般意义上的解经之作，而是先跳出《周易》之外，以邵雍所撰《皇极经世》“伏羲先天圆方图”蕴含的宇宙历史年表和中国历史年表来印证天地阴阳刚柔变化和人类历史治乱兴废之间天人共振、运舞不休的沉浮曲线。以伏羲圆方图为纲，以《皇极经世》编年史为体例，以文王之《易》为用，从而一展六十四卦“体用一源，显微无间”的活灵活现的数千年信史。一如邵子诗“照破万古事，收归一点真”。
