Cute cookbook, the recipes are presented by the Madrigal family with short intros and an upbeat tone. I appreciate that it gives me an index of the smaller tasks/recipes that go into larger cooking adventures, it’s quite easy to follow along. One slightly odd bit was the specific cooking devices, some recipes seemed to hinge on having that correct tool so keep that in mind (can probably work around with a little research). Overall excited to try out some of these recipes!
Beautiful pictures and easy to follow recipes for the whole family to enjoy! I do wish they had most photos of the recipes as many do not have photos of the final product.
Absolutely gorgeous illustrations of both food and Disney's Encanto movie. I attempted a couple of the recipes. Yummy! The book even offers some opinions of different choices and ingredients. Hands down a fabulous book and highly recommended.
I've saved a bunch of recipes to try, but I was still disappointed. There were hardly any pictures; I had to google every recipe to see if looked good enough to try out. But weirdly, the drink recipes each had their own picture. ???
Better recipes than I could find when it first came out and I did a small kid party from TikTok recipes. Not quite true Mexican food but better than I had before. Also I'm not mama and my cooking from this book did not heal anyone, lol. No one became ill either though 😅
