Rebecca Michaels has finally grown tired of her monotonous life and is ready to make a drastic change. Now that her daughter, Charlie, is away at college, there has never been a more perfect time to make it happen.

Packing up and leaving behind all she's ever known, she eagerly ventures out in search of what the world, outside of this dull town, has in store for her.

When she first encounters Andrew Chambers, a mysteriously sexy and seemingly wealthy stranger, she doesn't think she will ever stand a chance with someone like him. Little does she know just how wrong she is or how fierce an attraction the two of them would immediately share. Although, lavish attention and on-demand orgasms are not something she's going to complain about, the speed and intensity with which Andrew pursues her is almost more than she can handle.

Rebecca Michaels wanted an adventure, but the one that awaits her isn't necessarily what she had in mind.

I was born and raised in South/Central Florida. Currently residing in Texas, I love spending time with my fur-baby, Roxy… and sometimes my kids (when they behave). I enjoyed writing poems as a teenager, but it was short-lived. I didn’t become an avid reader until… Twilight and became obsessed. My passion for reading led to stories and characters nagging at me. Then a friend suggested I write it out and have now released my debut novel, Something More.

I'm currently writing another novel and short story for an anthology.

Finally a book that recognises women over 25. Rebecca, at 40 years of age, decides to move 1000 miles to re-start her life.

She finds love and hot, hot, hot sex with Alexander. It's a story, and it is a good, readable, story. It was more believable simply because she is an 'older' woman.

For nearly 25 chapters the book was a solid 5 stars, unfortunately I wasn't as happy with the surprising twist just before the end.

Even so it kept me awake reading my kindle under the duvet till 3am.

Well this was rather delicious. Hot and sassy. This story didn't mince around at all.

Got right to the nitty gritty of 2 people enjoying a connection that read like an instant emotional and physical connection. It was refreshing to the point of leaving me with the thought of why the hell not.
Fantabulous saucy debut Jenna, a really refreshing read!

This was a refreshing change from all the 20 something stories out there because it dealt with a 40 year old empty nester. Becca decided to move cross country and leave her now college age daughter and ex husband to carve out a new life for herself. After moving into her apartment she makes friends with a girl who works at the local bookstore, who just happens to live in her apartment. While out getting coffee one morning she literally runs into the most gorgeous man she's ever seen, and spills coffee on him to her dismay! She and her new friend head out to the local bar and he's there and she runs smack into him when coming out of the bathroom! There's attraction between them and they agree to a date.
Is it possible to find someone so perfect you and know it from the start? Is 40 to old to try to find true love? Will her daughter be supportive of a new man in her life? Will Drew be able to accept a grown child?

This book is also a panty wetter as well as an awesome romance!

Jenna Tyler delivers a fantastic five star debut novel with SOMETHING MORE.
Bored with her life, middle aged Rebecca Michaels packs up everything and leaves sunny Florida to find a fresh start across the country. Landing a new job and new apartment, Rebecca finally feels like everything may be falling into place. The last thing she expected was to catch the eye of local celebrity hottie Andrew Chambers. Rebecca's used to taking things slow and Andrew's made it perfectly clear that he's not a patient man. Letting go of control and trusting again has Rebecca on the ride of her life. But is it a ride she is ready for? Is she really ready for Something More?
I give it an AMAZING FIVE STARS!! Can't wait for more from this talented author! BRAVO JENNA!!!!

Definitely deserves 5 stars. Author Jenna Tyler tells a modern day story of a mom who wants the fantasy! She loves to read romances and refuses to believe that life can't be like them. She leaves all behind in search of a fresh start never expecting life to take an almost immediate turn into an adventure into that fantasy with a totally hottie name Drew. He's everything she's Dreamed about and more. This is one of the best books you will read this year! Loved her story telling and her characters you will too!

Jenna Tyler has set the bar very high for her writing career. Something More is a great read and I couldn't put it down. It skips over the teasing buildup and jumps right into a whirlwind romance. I cannot wait for more novels from Jenna Tyler.

Jenna Tyler’s Sexy, Quirky, Funny Debut Novel – Something More

Becca Michaels has left all things from her past in her rear view mirror when leaving Florida, and relocating to Portland. For the first time in 19 years she is making decision for herself, moving and starting over in an effort to be truly happy. With her daughter Charlie grown and attending college, 40 year old, divorcee Becca is starting over. Getting settled in a new apartment, starting a brand new job, and looking for new friends, she’s ready for anything. A bonafide, self professed book junkie, Becca still believes in Happily Ever Afters, even though she has yet to find hers. A trip to the fabulous local bookstore turns out to be one of the best decisions she has ever made. Enter Drew Chambers, eligible bachelor, successful business man, sexy, sweet, sensitive, and stalker extraordinaire.

Something more, is not a slow build; it’s almost instantaneous in its chemistry and sexiness. It’s a story about taking risks, letting go, and allowing yourself to be loved. I love Becca, mostly for the fact that she is incredibly real, sarcastic and feisty. She’s a real woman with real thoughts and fears, she’s anal retentive at times and its quite humorous at times. Drew, well he is just perfect, almost too much so. I found myself sighing, swooning and fanning myself throughout the entire book. He is quite possibly every woman’s fantasy. The connection between Becca and Drew is instant, and undeniable. Their attraction is so strong neither is able to resist, even though Becca really does try to play hard to get.

Something More, is a fun, sexy, fast read that will leave you feeling happy, and hopeful about finding your very own Happily Ever After, with your own Drew Chambers.

A story of new beginning that rival all of our imaginations. I mean how many of us have day dreamed about picking up and starting over in a new city or town and seeing what fate has in store for us. Will it be for the better or the worst? It is the excitement that has us all day dreaming. Will we find the prince charming or book boyfriend of our dreams? I love that Jenna has taken that fantasy and given it room to grow even more in our minds.
Rebecca has decided that she will be chasing her dreams of the Something More that she is looking for. The excitement of starting a new and the adventures that a new city and new people will give her. She didn't realize that all of her dreams would come true with a hot Book Boyfriend to boot! Andrew Chamber is that amazing book Boyfriend of her dreams that is all hard flesh and sexy abs.
The attraction between and Andrew is not only incredibly intense but amazingly beautiful to read.
Rebecca and Andrew heat up the pages with their passion but bring you to happy tears as they grow in their relationship.

I love how Jenna throws in a twist, not just any random kind of twist but a jaw dropping and new kind of twist that makes this book even better because of it. Yeah you have to read it to really appreciate it's awesomeness!
This book has everything! It is funny, quirky, sexy, romantic, heart breaking and yeah did I say passionate?!?! Oh and the twist at the end....AHHH! Loved every sleep deprived minute of it!

"I know I would do anything for this man and it appears he would do anything for me. There's just something about him. Something mysterious. Something exciting. Something more."

I loved this debut novel by Jenna Tyler. Something More is a whirlwind romance that we all dream of. Mr. Chambers made my heart pitter patter from the beginning. I admired Rebecca's courage at moving across the country and starting life anew all on her own.

Rebecca is a simple, independent woman. She finds herself drawn to Andrew on a chemical level and can barely contain her attraction to him. Her head and her heart fight each other; her head warning her to go slow and her heart driving her to jump in head first.

Andrew is ambitious man focused on his career. He's never really wasted time on dating until he see's Rebecca and has no choice but to get to know her. He's drawn to her in a way he's never experienced before. When he starts to get to know her he finds himself wanting more and more. He sees no reason to move slow because he knows what he wants.

The twist, of course there is a twist, made me say "you b***h!" out loud to the author, as if she could hear me. I expected a twist but not this.

Something More is excellent and even more so it is a debut! I'm excited to see where Jenna Tyler goes from here!

Rebecca (Becca) Michaels decided she wanted something different, and finally being able to move on and be herself again, not just mom or the single, she decided to ,move from Florida all the way to Seattle. Yep pretty drastic. With her job lined up and her small apartment decorated, she had two weeks to relax and have some fun. What she didn’t know was she’d meet someone special and very well known in Seattle. Will she fall for this younger man? Will she live wildly and experience new…. things?
I absolutely love Becca. Being so outgoing and adventurous. She finally gets to act young, experience life. I mean your life can’t be dead at 40. Come on. Drew was a very debonair guy who made me wonder. I loved the first date. Who goes on a hike for their first date? Made me smile though.

This is a nice, romantic, steamy read! I like that Rebecca is a realistic character like your every day attractive female not some model unreal looking person and her age is more appropriate.
She loves to read her romance & longs to have her real life romance like she reads about and who doesn't?
It's written very well and does have a surprise toward the end lol however Im glad it ended the way it did.
I read this after an ugly cry read and this was just what I needed!

I would definitely refer people to read this. I loved it! From beginning to end it leaves you wanting more. The last chapter makes you go, huh?!?!?! WTF just happened! It was perfect. I so wish there was more, but alas, it is a stand alone so there isn't more. It has everything from romance, love, sex, and a tad bit of drama. Go one-click it if you want something good to read.

I really liked the fact that the couple in this story were middle aged - gives you hope as someone that age. I found myself really engaged in the story but then felt cheated by the ending. The writing was at times stilted but was able to overcome that with the investment I had in the characters but it was for nothing. Disappointed sums up my experience with this book and I feel bad for feeling this way.

Every once in a while you find that book you’re really conflicted about. Something More is definitely one of those books. I am not sure how I feel after reading it and it wasn’t just the twist at the ending that makes me feel this way, but there is definitely a twist. Prepare yourself.

Rebecca is a 40 year old divorcee with a daughter that has just gone off to college. Determined to do something for herself and feeling good about the decision with her daughter away at school, Rebecca moves cross country from Florida to Oregon. She has a new job starting in 2 weeks and a new apartment and she is many many miles from her ex-husband.

It doesn’t take long before Rebecca sees the most attractive man she’s ever seen. She is completely flustered especially when he makes some serious eye contact with her. Rebecca quickly leaves, but ends up seeing him again while she is out with her new (and much younger) friend. He spends a good amount of time staring at Rebecca, but doesn’t make a move to approach her. Rebecca goes to the bathroom and runs into someone walking out….guess who? Sexy Mystery Man of course!!! It turns out that he is Andrew Chambers, a wealthy local celebrity known for not dating. When he finds out Rebecca is new in town, he offers to take her on a tour of the city.

There is some intense sexual energy between Rebecca and Drew and he’s pretty vocal about the fact that he thinks it means something serious is happening between them. Drew is several years younger than Rebecca and she’s just starting to do something for herself, so she is hesitant to jump in with both feet.

This book had SO much potential. It’s rare to get a book with the main female character older than 33. It’s even rarer to pair her with a younger man. I love that she is focusing on herself now that her daughter is away at college. I love the instant attraction she feels with Drew. I like that Rebecca playfully picks at Drew too. I love that Drew is so sure about what he wants and he’s willing to go after it. I love that he’s there for Rebecca when she needs him and takes up for her. Drew was pretty great! Like I said, there was so much potential here.

I struggled with Rebecca. At first, she seemed like a really likeable character. It wasn’t long before I started seeing her as one of those moms that’s trying to be 21 again though. Maybe it was just a coincidence that her first and only friend was a college student. I’d be willing to ignore that. I found myself annoyed at her and her thoughts about Drew. She would tell herself that she wasn’t jumping into anything, but then the next thought was totally contradictory. She would say that he was moving too fast and the next day she’s change her tune. I realize the ex-husband was kind of a jerk, but she was just as antagonistic with him as he was her. It was frustrating.

I’m also not a huge fan of the instalove thing that has become a fad lately. The romance happened so quickly and so intensely that I kept waiting for the shoe to drop. I guess that was the purpose of the twist?

I have to start by saying that it was so refreshing to read a story about a 40 year old woman falling love.

Rebecca has decided to start afresh in a new city and a new job. Her daughter has just started college and after divorcing her husband 16 years ago, she is ready for something new. It only takes one day for that something new to happen and it comes in the form of Andrew Chambers. He is a very sexy, successful man with a very high public image. People are fascinated by him and women fawn all over him.

These two have one of those insta-love moments when their eyes meet, they are completely drawn to each other and so begins this intense whirlwind romance between them. Drew (Andrew) completely sweeps Becca off her feet with sweeping gestures and heartfelt moments that will leave you swooning for him.

I love how at times Becca battles with the intensity of her feelings for Drew but ends up just giving into the moment and taking that leap of faith with him. Trusting him with her heart and going with what she is feeling. However, the pace of this story is off the scale. Moments in this couples relationship, that usually take months to get to, all happen in one week, let me repeat that, one week!

Just when you think that this story is all done and dusted the author throws a bit of a twist in just to keep you on your toes!

So yes, I did enjoy this sweet story but at times I did struggle with the pace of it.

ARC received from author in exchange for an honest review

What I really liked about this story is that Rebecca Michaels is a 40 year old divorced woman. It's not often that stories are written with a more mature female lead. She has moved to a new town after seeing her daughter off to college. She's ready to begin living her life now that her kid is out of the house. She's smart, confident and ready for some adventure in her life. Rebecca bumps into Andrew Chambers and sparks begin to fly immediately. They both feel a pull toward one another. She attempts to take it slow, but they very quickly fall for one another. I will say that this story is cute and I enjoyed the easiness that Rebecca and Andrew had with one another. Things do happen rather quickly for this couple, but the story's pace was a bit slow. There is a twist toward the end which I am on the fence about, but overall I liked this couple. I liked Rebecca and well there really isn't anything not to like about Stewart. He's a sweetheart.

It was hard not to like Rebecca in this book. She has such a fun personality. She definitely keeps Drew on his toes. I loved the witty banter between them. It kept things so fun and light. After reading a couple emotionally draining books lately, this was exactly what I needed.

I also enjoyed the fact that there wasn't any major drama between them. The attraction between the two was strong immediately. Drew would do anything for Rebecca and he proved that when events in her life took an uncertain turn. He was there to support her the entire time.

Drew is the kind of man any woman would love to have. An absolutely perfect boyfriend. He does move a little fast though, but that just showed how intense the initial attraction was from the beginning.

This book is a perfect read for the beach or for cuddling up by the fire on a snowy day. It's going to bring a smile to your face.

ehhh ..... ok what ?? totally unexpected ending I read through this book liking the storyline, at times I felt it was very fast paced and it kinda stuck out. why is it that even some of us who fall in love quickly in life don't like it when we read it in a book ? maybe we don't want the story to end , or all the goods to happen quick we want suspense, yet sometimes we don't wait till the end to judge I'm glad that the ending went the way it did because the fast paced weird world of beccas suddenly made sense. all in all a great romance a story of when you know it's just meant to be. great story Jenna at times I felt there was a little too much attention to minor detail but I loved the story and where it headed and the end dumbfounded me good job

I liked the book. It kept my attention and made me want to know what was going to happen next. I didn't like the way she was towards her ex-husband and thought she was too much of a smart mouth. But the book kept me interested. the author should possibly make a sequel.
