Note to If you accept a job offer from your brother’s best friend, Don’t sleep with him. And definitely DON'T get pregnant.
Eli Whiss is the big bad boss ready to huff, puff, and blow my little panties down. I’m the little sister that comes equipped with a “DO NOT TOUCH” sign from big bro.
Our relationship starts with me spilling coffee on his junk and trying to rub it clean. Embarrassing doesn’t even begin to describe my red face.
In front of everyone, he treats me like the clumsy little sister. But when the meetings end… his stare claims every inch of my 5’-4” soul.
With a smile that could strip me bare in 3.2 seconds and a six-pack that turns me into putty, I'm royally screwed.
One minute I’m the model employee, The next I’m sighing with my legs open on his desk.
Oh, and the cherry on top of it all? This bachelor boss will soon be a daddy.

There was absolutely no chemistry between the MMC and FMC. They pretty much didn’t even know each other and went from the MMC being horrible to her to out of nowhere wanting her and being in love with her?
Their dialogue was terrible. They didn’t even had any real conversations and you’re telling me I’m supposed to believe they were in love? Sure, sure.
He’s the billionaire boss of a media company who is also her brother’s best friend. She’s a writer and he hires her as a favor to his friend. He thinks she’s the most gorgeous woman ever but is constantly pushing her. He doesn’t treat anyone else this way. Oh and his no hookups rule in the office - well that rule is broken pretty quickly. He just wants a fling until it burns out and she has no power to resist him. 1st time ends up with a baby and she discovers this about 8 weeks in. She doesn’t want to tell him because he just wants a hookup and isn’t very good to her. He finally declares his love when he’s drunk but ignores her for days after.
I didn’t really like him. He was kind of immature and didn’t want to face his emotions. I didn’t get much of a relationship from them - mostly just sex and each time it was kind of a pattern - her, then him, then piv… so got a bit repetitive. He was so mean too making her clean toilets when she is a skilled writer. I did really like the brother. Typically this character is nothing to the story but he was very caring with both of them - he was just a great guy.
Hea - baby boy and proposal in the rain

What a great story! I was super invested and needed to finish it ASAP. Olivia Gray is funny, relatable, and nerdy. Best mix if there ever was one.😄 My kind of girl. She moves back to New York hoping to start anew after a disaster of her career back in LA. She's a screenwriter. A visionary. Owen, her lookalike funny brother, pushes her toward a job that his best friend Eli Whiss has at his company Media Production. After an awkward coffee spill with Eli, blush blush, we are off and running.
Eli is a total and complete alpha jerk that needs to be in control. He looks good and knows the effect he has on the ladies. Yes, he is that guy!! He gives Olivia job tasks that are not the best, hoping it would send her away and quit. As if! He didn't hire her for her qualifications at all, and he doesn't play favorites. It's like that. But that ego of his is about to get tested in a major way by a petite blonde he cannot stop thinking about. Eli has it bad people. Bring on the explosions!!🧨🎆🧨 Like developing deep feelings is a bad thing. Foolish man.🤣🤣
This steamy romance got hot and boiled over.🥵🔥🥵 Grab some ice. There are moments I was like: come on Eli, don't do that, don't say that; give Olivia her high percentage for that video she did for that young singer who liked Olivia more instead of you, with your grumpy self!😝 So much happens on this rollercoaster ride. In a great way!! Love how Olivia's brother Owen played in the story too instead of just being in the background. I won't spoil what happens. I highly recommend. Enjoy.💕

This story is part of the A Brother's Best Friend Romance where we get to discover enemies to lovers with Olivia and Eli. When Olivia gets kicked down professionally in LA she returns to NY to start over with a job at her brother, Owen’s best friend, Eli’s Media Production company. Eli never reads any of her work and when she starts he makes Olivia a gopher for him. Eli doesn’t want to be attracted to Olivia and there’s an undeniable attraction. Eli knows hiring Olivia will be nothing but trouble. Olivia can’t stand this arrogant alpha man even though he is one attractive man. During Eli’s meeting with a singer Olivia comes in with coffee and hits it off getting him the gig. Eli is not happy how she took over the meeting and continues to give her a hard time. When things get overwhelming they become more and Owen can sense it but they both deny and avoid his questions. I love how Olivia finds a way out from Eli only for her brother to step in and explain what’s really going on to Eli. Will Eli take this last chance to get Olivia to stay in NY to be with him? Just Hold On When Love Takes Over - Olivia didn’t want to accept the job her brother got for her, but she knew she had no other choice. Eli felt like his world had shifted on its axis the moment he laid eyes on Olivia, as he felt an inexplicable connection with her. This made him try everything he could to make her life miserable, so she would leave. Unfortunately, the sparks between them exploded, where they couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
Unfortunately, their path to happiness didn’t run smooth, as neither one of them was capable to acknowledging their true feelings for each other openly, which nearly cost them their happily ever after, when Eli discovered Olivia had been keeping a very big secret from him.
This was an awesome story, that teaches us that if nothing else, we should always be open to communicate our true feelings in any relationship that we are in. This book is well worth a read, as you won’t be disappointed reading it.

Olivia is back home following an ignominious end to her job/career in LA. Her brother, Owen gets her a job at his best friend's company to help her get back on her feet. Having never met Eli she wasn't sure what to expect. What she didn't expect was to be given a long list of menial tasks by a grumpy standoffish individual who appeared to hate her.
Eli's first meeting with his best friend's baby sister was a bit of a car crash. But, despite his best efforts, he just couldn't fight his immediate and all consuming attraction. He was a love them and leave them playboy and he absolutely did not catch feelings. Having watched his father suffer after his mother walked out on her family he was adamant that he would not be hurt the same way.
A wonderful angsty romance charting Eli's struggle to keep his distance from Olivia and absolutely not fall in love. When he finally succeeds in pushing her away is it too late to fix it?
Josie does it again!.

- Enemies to lovers - Brother's best friend - Workplace romance - Extremely grumpy boss
Olivia has just moved to NYC from LA after losing her job as screenwriter in a very public way. Her brother Owen gets her a job at his best friend Eli's company - which produce music videos.
Right from the start, Eli is bowled over by his attraction to Olivia. So of course he covers that by being grumpy and giving her ridiculous tasks that he hopes make her want to leave. Eli has no interest in any relationship as he thinks it will be too distracting. He gets distracted from that mindset because he can't stop thinking about Olivia.
After a few steamy encounters with Olivia, they give into their mutual attraction, which makes Eli go full denial (translation: miserable). Will Eli's attitude ruin any chance he has for a happy future?.

Eli reluctantly hired Olivia, keeping his best friend (her brother) appeased. Giving her “gopher” jobs & not a job where she excels & would shine, she doesn’t give him the satisfaction of quitting. She gets her opening when a new client comes in & Olivia is all over this contract. Eli is feeling squeezed out as she’s taking over. He is cold & hard-nosed towards her but he’s so hot for her personally. With the arguing they do, they have a way of mixing their pleasure when making up. Keeping a secret blows up in her face & can prove to be the undoing of their connection once & for all. This is the type of story where I had to keep reading until the end. Will Eli ever wake up & realize he’s in love with Olivia? She’s tired of feeling used but she’s always drawn towards him. Beautiful romantic story!

Two people that had an instant attraction. One was a billionaire playboy and the other had been jilted at the altar who loved easily. Olivia had lost her job in LA as a writer so she moved back home to NYC. She had never met her brother’s best friend Eli who gave her a job at his media production company. Her first day on the job she tripped and spilled coffee all over Eli. But when he really saw her he was instantly attracted. He treated her so mean that Olivia thought he hated her. Eli wanted them to just have a sexual fling but all the time his jealousy showed when someone else interest in her. He couldn’t stay away from her and every time she went into his office it led to them being sexually in his office. This is a great love story and the plot keeps you glued to the story.
A great brothers best friend read. Olivia is about to start working for her brothers best friend that her brother got for her. Eli felt like his world had shifted on the moment he laid eyes on Olivia, as he felt a connection with her. He was like a boy at school that’s meen to the girl he likes, so she would leave. But the sparks between them can’t be doused they burn hotter after every look between them and they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. After she was left at the alter she’s lost trust in me. Sticking around and Eli is a playboy and doesn’t want commitment so acknowledging their true feelings for each other has been avoided.Just when they confess their love Eli finds she’s hidden a pregnancy from him and blows his top, Her brother tells sense into him and all ends in a HEA Ending seemed a bit rushed tho.
Wowsa this book was absolutely fantastic and will definitely have you engrossed from the beginning until the end and the storyline flows throughout the book. Olivia is a screen writer and loses her job in LA and now she's back home trying to pick up the pieces when her brother sets her up for job interview with his best friend and playboy Eli but when sparks fly between them can they keep it under wrap or will her brother find out? This book was so good and you definitely could connect with the characters emotions and Heartbreak and pain.

Olivia just lost her job in LA and moves to NY where her brother lives. He asks his best friend Eli to help him out by giving his sister a job. Eli and Olivia do not hit it off but Eli finds her attractive and can’t stop thinking about her so he decides to make it hard on her at work by being rude and demanding in hopes she will quit. Eventually they become involved but Eli is still fighting his feelings. Will he ever give in? Ms. Hart delivers a great book that has everything you want I a story. Brother’s best friend, enemy to lovers and a few surprises along the way. I couldn’t top reading.

This was so good that I couldn’t out it down. I literally sat here in one sitting and read the whole thing. A little enemies to lovers, billionaire boss, workplace, surprise pregnancy romance. The writing was really good and the spicy scenes were perfect!! I would have given it 5 stars had there been more to the relationship. He was a total jerk the whole time so not sure how she had feelings for him besides sexual tension. I would have liked to see them dating at and going through the pregnancy and everything. I am glad they got their HEA and a satisfying epilogue though. Will be reading more of her books!
The male lead was an asshole to the extreme for the ENTIRE book (other than the epilogue). I was actively hoping they wouldn’t stay together… the female lead was a nice person yet he would constantly say and think awful things about her… and I’m supposed to buy they fall in love?
The book was well written but I felt like I was hoping for a redemption of his character that never came. He was just emotionally constipated and that makes his behavior okay evidently. Even at the end she was referring to their “relationship” as a hookup… sex and attraction is not enough to indicate love.
Boss's Surprise Baby is the story of Olivia and Eli. She is a screenwriter in LA but loses her job. Her brother gets her a job with Eli's company and so she moved to NYC. Eli is a grumpy a$$ right from the start as he tries to deny his attraction to Olivia and this means that of course she dislikes him. So the dynamic of boss/employee morphs into a bit of enemies but then a right turn happens and the attraction is given into, which of course leads to two pink lines and a big surprise.
Ehh, not really sure how I feel about this book. It was a quick read, finished in a day. Love that it's single POV and from Eli's POV, too. But, something about the story, I can't put my finger on it.
Spicy scenes get really repetitive with the same thing each time - it felt copied and pasted. And I thought there would be more angst. Then, the ending happened so fast. Like one extra drive around the block and bam...Eli's apologizing and forgiving Olivia and then they're good.
What an absolute child. “I like her so I’m going to be mean to her.” BRO WHAT. And don’t get me started on Olivia. “I’ve fallen for him.” Fallen for what? Him refusing to give you any opportunities? Tearing down anything you do at work because you came up with it? Reprimanding you in front of a client? Girl get a backbone and some self confidence cause what are you even doing.
Not to mention there was like, NO backstory for anyone, just little dropped details here and there that were supposed to justify mountains of poor behavior.
Eli is a complex character. He is forced to hire his best friend Owen’s sister Olivia. Right from the start they get off on the wrong foot. As you read you can feel the steam coming from both of them but company rules and big brothers sometimes get in the way. This book was a page turner for me (heads up it can get pretty hot).

In need of a new start Olivia moves to New York to work for her brothers best friend Eli. Unfortunately, their initial interactions are very tense. Avoiding how they feel about each other was a large part of this story and drove them to consistently miscommunicate and hide things. Their ending while happy took some obstacles to overcome.

Olivia, looking for a fresh start moves to NYC. Eli, owner of Whiss Productions, hires Olivia out of a favor for her brother/his BFF. Office romance is not something Eli does as it’s against work policy, but something about her he couldn’t resist. Secrets, lies, and drama unfolds in this story of love. Who knew that working with your brothers BFF would result in some rewarding benefits;-)

This was a kind of enemies-to-lovers/ brother's best friend/ office romance. Some of the writing felt a little too tell-not-show and like the script of a porno, but other parts of it were fairly decent. Fair amount of sexy time scenes, but the dirty talk felt really awkward to me in some of them. Some of the storyline also felt a bit slouched and underdeveloped. So, I might give the author another chance, but only f the book was a deal.
Boss’s Surprise Baby by Josie Hart was a very steamy novel about Olivia and Eli. Olivia is brilliant writer, the dorky little sister to Eli’s Best friend. Eli is a hard a**, who is scared to look/find his HEA, he also owns the company that Olivia works for. This novel includes a lot of emotions along their relationship rollercoaster.

Olivia is a cringy weirdo who acts like a toddler with no social awareness, her brother is an annoying sexist @$$, and Eli is a giant dickhead with no manners
Owen let out an annoyed sigh. “Because this is bro time.” “But I’m here?” “Because you’re basically a bro.” Owen shrugged as Eli made a strange face. “But you’ll get that privilege revoked if you keep cutting in like a woman.”
How do you even write something this bad? Don’t waste your time reading this.
Olivia and Eli take you on a roller-coaster ride of emotions, steam, and more. Once you start you won't be able to put it down. These two have an instant attraction but they both try and fight it and end up sleeping together and from there this story takes you form twist to the next. I don't want to say too much but once you read it you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to read the next.
the story line was okay, but the characters were irritating.
The premise was good, and should have been a good book, however I found Eli extremely irritating. He was a whiny, self centered, prick that I could not stand. It really spoilt the story for me. I also think the story was too long. For me it would have been better as a shorter book. It just felt too drawn out, as if there was a specific word count that needed to be reached. This book was not for me.
I just can’t give it more than one star. This has to be my least favorite trope of all time. There is nothing in my mind that could justify Olivia not telling Eli that she is pregnant with his baby. Even if he just thought it was a fling he had the right to know. He had the right to make a decision on his own merits if he’d wanted to be involved in the babies life.
A enemies to lovers- brother’s best friend romance story. Olivia moves to New York after it did not work out in LA. Her brother ends up getting her a job with his best friend Eli. When she starts working with him she cannot stand him but things heat up but it leads to a secret pregnancy. This was a great read and I would definitely recommend. Arc and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A lovely story about Olivia and Eli. He offers her a job as a favor to her brother if she loses her job. The sparks and chemistry can be felt from the start, but Eli is also holding back a bit as he is not a fan of steady relationships. A fine novel and highly recommended.
