Avery doesn't want a relationship, Reid does. So what happens when they decide to try out a vacation fling... over the phone?
Avery has given up on relationships. They always seem to take more than they give, and she is sick of it. She is resolute to just hookups, enjoying herself for a night and then walking away. But then, she meets Reid at her sister's wedding, and before they even have a chance to figure out the chemistry between them, he leaves to catch his flight back home. Now she is left wanting, having an itch that was never scratched, and the temptation may be too much for her to resist.
Reid has always wanted a relationship, always wanted the comfort and security that they bring. He just hasn't found his person yet. He travels to his best friend's wedding and there, he meets a woman who blows him right off his feet: the maid of honor. He and Avery hit it off right away, but before he knows it, he's late. He leaves quickly, needing to catch his flight. He gives her his number as a last-ditch effort. He doesn't think she will even use it, but to his surprise, she does. They start their fling with an end in sight, both of them thinking that the distance will be too hard. Yet, the longer they talk, the harder it is to deny that there may be more between them than just lust.

I can say without a shame that I’ve read the whole series. I’m in love with these books These are quick reads And omg this was different! I’ve read almost every single trope out there but NEVER a long distance and over the phone one!! This author made it work!! Avery and Reid had an amazing connection and it was impossible for them not to continue what they had started.
Rhianna B absolutely ATE with this series! However, this one didn’t keep my attention like the others, so that’s the only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5. Reid and Avery are so cute. I recommend this entire series a whole bunch.
This one was a cute, spicy novella. I don’t think it was as steamy as the other three because it centered around phone sex. I was hoping to get a scene with Reid dominant in person more than we did. This book had plenty of praise and angst for me to enjoy it!
Definition of trust the process! I thought the previous book would be my favorite, but I think this one trumps all. I wouldn’t really consider this a “she teaches him” trope, because he isn’t really taught anything other than to do what he’d normally do to turn someone on, just over the phone. Nonetheless, this was the longest and contained the most plot, the most angst, and the most smut (so it’s automatically a win)
Firstly, Reid is my man. He is in fact my newest book boyfriend and i am very in love with him. (yes i am delusional, and what about it?!)
(side note - i enjoyed finn and emma’s story in every other book more than their own, but i think that’s because i felt bad for Joey (bc i have a soft spot for him) and she was very harsh to him. but i do love her otherwise.)
Reid’s character is great and i love him and I wish we got more of his pov bc i was LOVING EVERY SECOND IN HIS POV.
( 100% IN LOVE WITH REID 🙌💕😍 ) ••• I like the couple. A lot! I just was a little impatient with them getting together but i am just a very impatient person lol i think it was a little bit of a slow burn situation where she didn’t want to confess that she felt the way she did bc she was scared AND i get she was struggling with letting him in because her past relationships were disappointing but i mean come on even a blind man can see he’s perfect!! i wanted her to admit her feelings to herself quicker because i wanted to see them as a real couple. it was just slow for me in the middle of the book since i wanted them together so bad! like so so bad!! i do wish we had a little more of them in a real relationship especially since that is what HE had been searching for, for quite a while. i wanted to see him step into what he wanted. which we did a bit but it left me hungry for more!
not gonna lie i do wish we had longer chapters of Reid’s pov, mostly because i am in love with him. but also i just love the guys pov in books.

What a great way to end such a fantastic series! Called Right involves Reid, Finn’s best friend, and Avery, Emma’s sister. It’s a long way from book 1 and Finn & Emma are getting married! Avery is done with relationships. She’s tired of having to do all the work with little to no reward. Reid is a relationship kinda guy. He likes to settle down with that special someone. Avery decides she’s gonna look for a hookup at the wedding.. have some adult fun. This is where she meets Reid.
After some heavy flirtation at the bar, Reid realizes he’s going to be late for his flight so he leaves Avery with his number in hopes that she uses it.. and that she does. Their long distance relationship oozes with sex appeal during their spicy phone conversations. Reid knows just the right words to get Avery to *come* to him..
Absolutely LOVED this series! Super cute, short, SPICY AF, series of novellas. I loved Reid & Avery’s connection with each other and I love how they looked forward to talking to each other every night. I mean who knew phone sex can be SO HOT!!! Rating this one 4 stars. Not a full 5 star for me cuz again A LOT of the words were extremely repetitive but still a great book. Devoured this series in 1 day. Definitely recommend!
Truthfully, this deserves maybe half a star. I did not finish
This entire series is ridiculous. It says it's a "She Teaches Him" series. In the first two, the girls don't teach the men ANYTHING. The third and this one, they BARELY teach anything.
The sex scenes were "eh" in this one. It's all phone sex. I get it, it can be hot. However, when the author legit repeats herself through the ENTIRE paragraph about how the girl came and she is trying to catch her breath...it's just bad writing. I read all of the other books and suffered through those hoping it got better. The first sucked, second, eh, third was the best out of this series, and this one plummeted. I got to page 122. I was tired of reading the SAME thing in every single paragraph.
My husband got this for me for Christmas, and seriously, I just returned all of the books and got my money back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Terrible books, terrible writing, and seriously was a waste of my life. I'm so disappointed.

Called Right was a spicy and detailed addition to the She Teaches Him series! I loved seeing the siblings of Emma and Finn from book one get their time in the spotlight. Avery, Emma’s sister, and Reid, Finn’s friend, had an electric connection from the moment they met at Emma and Finn’s wedding.
The steamy scenes, especially the phone conversations, were extra detailed and added a unique dynamic to their relationship. While I really enjoyed their story, I wish we’d gotten a bit more insight into Reid. When Avery says, “he got me through it with his praises, etc.,” I wanted to actually see more of those moments unfold.
Overall, this was a hot, quick read and a great continuation of the series. Fans of the previous books won’t be disappointed!
Avery is over relationships but Reid isn’t. When they meet at Finn and Emma’s wedding sparks fly. But Reid has to leave all of a sudden to get back to work, but he leaves his number with her. She doesn’t think she will ever use it but one drunken night she decides she wants to have a little fun. She has to coach him through their first talk but he is a fast learner! They decide they will keep in touch as long as she is on vacation, once she does home they end it. When the week is almost up they both want to keep going but are scared. Can they make this relationship work now that the vacation is over? Keep this one up to see. Again another novella that is complete, but do I want more? YES! Great banter, spice, and chemistry!
5 stars! Absolutely loved this one! I’m so glad the last two novellas in this series were as good as they were. The first two were very disappointing, but this one and Fucked Right made up for it completely!! Reid has a filthyyyyy mouth and Avery is a brat! I absolutely loved their dynamic, and the whole phone sex thing was written very well! (I do wish that we got the smut of their first time having sex though, I kinda feel a bit robbed!) But overall, Called Right and Fucked Right are SOOO good. Highly recommend them!

honestly this was longer than it needed to be and needed another round of editing much more than any of the previous novellas. the writing style of this installment was pretty disappointing because their kink tags are, imo, the most intriguing. this was a bad follow up to the perfection that was book three.
again, I adored that Emma has a sister, I think seeing the vacation from more perspectives is just the perfect Sweet Treat™ for readers.
I love a good text-to-lovers trope, but phonesex-to-lovers kicks it up a notch!
Avery meets Reid briefly at her sister's wedding. Reid has to leave to catch his flight home. Unable to get each other off their minds, they begin a steamy phonesex session.
Great plot, and lots of spice in this novella. Definitely recommend!!
2.5⭐️✨ I wanted to really like this book, and it wasn’t bad, don’t get me wrong, but the sexting, over the phone long distance shit for 70% of the book just isn’t my cuppa tea. I really liked Avery and Reid, and they’re probably my favourite couple in this series, even though the third novella was arguably my favourite.
Overall a 3.75/5 ★ Majority of the book is spice, which is expected. Only complaint I have with this book is it's a lot of long paragraphs in which repeat the same thing or repeats what has already been said before in an attempt to make this a longer book. Either way, the book wasn't too bad 🙂
If you're looking for a quick, spicy read with no plot, the She Teaches Him series is a good way to go. This is book 4, the newest release. While I don't LOVE the series, I don't dislike it. I'm pretty neutral on it but I just like having something short to break up all the long books I read!
Yummy! I ate this series up! Not much of a plot really. If you’re in the mood and looking for a quick spicy read this is a great choice. All the books in this short series is she teaches him which I find hot and sexy!
