There is No Saving Grace Without Repentance
Churchgoers and pastors around the world have slowly abandoned the doctrine that Jesus Christ taught His disciples to teach unbelievers, which is repentance (i.e. godly sorrow) for the remission (i.e. forgiveness/pardoning) of sin.
"Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." -Luke 24:45-47
Because of this, countless false converts have been created through a commonly used "sinner's prayer" that has never saved anyone.
