It’s a bittersweet season as Kelli Cole, a former convict and resident, enters the last stretch of her time at Joanna Pepperdine’s rehabilitation farm in Divine, Kansas. With an eye on the future, Kelli is making plans to open up a boutique store in their small town to sell her custom creations, jewelry she sells at the farm’s mercantile.
When a local news reporter contacts Jo, eager to run a special segment about the farm and “Kelli’s Creations,” Jo jumps at the chance for the exposure, certain it will benefit Kelli and her new business venture by spreading the word.
The resident is both excited and nervous about the interview until the reporter arrives. She recognizes the woman who unfairly covered her trial for kidnapping a wealthy businessman and refuses to do the interview.
Determined to help right a wrong, the woman gives Kelli evidence that could potentially exonerate her, and Jo convinces her to take the information and do the interview.
The new information puts the women on a journey to clear Kelli’s name, but it won’t be easy. Not only will she need help from the other residents, they’ll have to convince the victim, who refuses to request investigators to reopen the case, to change his mind.
Will Jo’s determination to help her resident be in vain, or will justice finally be served?

I actually just started this book and just say I’m so excited about its release! I didn’t even know another was out, because I didn’t have it written down to follow-up. Yes, I already rated it with 5 out of 5 stars, but that is simply because I already know it’ll be amazing. I love this series!
From the previous book 10 “Divine Double Trouble”: Psalm 34, verse 7. ‘The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.’
Also in the previous book was the mention of the Divine Angels. The Divine Angels have actually been mentioned several times in previous books and I always get goosebumps when they appear. I love to read about the angels of the lord. <3
Just finished this read and wasn’t disappointed. Kelli was wrongfully convicted in the kidnapping of a man. New evidence in the crime from the kidnapped victim comes to life and is given to Vanessa, a newspaper reporter. However, the victim had PTSD and refuses to have the police reopen the case in order to exonerate Kelli. Jo is on it though. She, Delta, and the rest of the residents at Jo’s farm plan to see the exoneration through. They will gather any proof they can and find out who the actual kidnapper is and have her put behind bars all with the help from God.
There is talk of prayer and second chances and a lot of positive feelings in this series, but not so much God talk to the point that it feels religion is being shoved down your throat.
It’s a real feel-good book and things always work out in the end because “God’s timing is perfect.” And Nash gives not only Kelli a surprise, but he also surprises Joann with something during their fishing trip together.
Kelli is on her way to becoming a business owner, Laverne is as quacky and too-blunt as ever, Courtney and Carli did something very brave and selfless in order to help Kelli, and Joann may be a co-owner of another business soon. What occurs in the next book is obvious and I can’t wait to read all about it! Next book by Callaghan in the Divine Cozy Mysteries is book 12… but no release date as of yet and no title provided.
The next book I’m about to read is by Lily Harper Hart and I admit it is pretty opposite of prayers and God, but magic is something that has always fascinated me and I enjoy reading about it. I chose “Hextraordinary Circumstances (A Supernatural Speakeasy Cozy Mystery Book 12)”. I’ve already read the previous 11.
Divine Creations is set in the town of Divine, Kansas - the Midpoint of the continuous 48 states and focuses on Kelli, her redemption, restored reputation and Divinely Inspired Creations. Sometimes out of tragedy comes good things. Will the Divine Angels protect Joanna Pepperdine from her wildlife infestation? The outcome of the subplot makes a reader chuckle. I enjoy how Hope Callaghan summarizes what happened previously, and then throws the reader a red herring, which makes the reader speculate who dun it. Dandy Divine Mornings, a necklace, Freedom Wildlife Removal, Hippies and more. Hope Callaghan's writing style hooks me every time with its delightful descriptions of the setting, the unique minor characters, the stores and small town life. Readers who enjoy crafts, open air markets, and animal relocation and rescue will love this book in the series. Story can be read as a STAND alone. Wonder what will happen next? A divine summer READ!
Another great read in this series This series is different from most of Hope's other books, and has Jo Pepperdine running a halfway house type of farm for women. Her heart for these ladies and determination to give them the best possible chance at re-entering society is what makes this series work for me. This story is about Kelli, who is nearing the end of her time at the farm and is ready to set out on her own. She will be starting her own business selling custom jewelry with help from Jo, and gets more than she bargained for when she is interviewed for a spot on local television. Jo, Nash, Delta, Gary and all the rest of the women at the farm come together to help Kelli attempt to prove her innocence of the crime she was convicted of years ago. If you love the Divine series, or love a feel-good inspirational tale, this one is for you!
I can not get enough of this series...and this recent addition is one of Hope's best stories to date! The truth will set you free. Justice will be served! But you must have courage, be brave and use your strength to see the task through.
As much as I would love to outline the plot, I'm afraid by doing so I may let slip one of many twists and turns that keeps you turning pages to the very end! Each resident at the farm has a vital role in this story! Jo, Nash, Delta and Gary show their strength of character and encouragement as one resident may be vindicated for the crime she's said all along she did not commit. A beautiful story made better when the Divine angels step forward! Just amazing!!!!!!
I want to gush about this book! Absolutely Wonderful book in the series. I’ll go out on a limb and say the BEST book ever! We all know Ms. Callaghan writes wonderful books, so I’m sure she’ll write more like this. It’s just that this one brings Jo’s beautiful soul out for us to see it. And a big surprise at the end! I don’t want to say more and ruin the book. But many passages brought tears to my eyes. You know-the way a book does! Not sad 😞, no, no! But amazing writing. Feeling a book. So I’ll leave it here. If you read the series, read this one! Must Read!!!! 📖 📕
This book is part of Hope Callaghan's Divine Mystery Series. The mystery is filled with hope and love and faith. The setting is in Divine, Kansas, on a farm Jo Pepperdine owns and operates as a second chance home for former incarcerated women. This is a beautiful story ... As all of the books in this series are ... And the mystery is intriguing. I recommend that you begin with book 1 and read through the series! You will love getting to know all of the characters and solving all of the mysteries.
Which Hope Callaghan series is my favorite? The one I’m reading at the time. She can always be counted in to deliver a wonderful reading experience! This time one of the farm’s residents hopes to have her conviction overturned and her name cleared. Warm & wonderful characters, a nice twisty plot and plenty of surprises make this on3 hard to put down. Highly recommended! I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.
Kelli has just a few months left at the Divine Farm & is preparing to move into town & open a jewelry shop where she will sell her own creations! Only one thing remains for her! She still says she did not help her then boyfriend kidnap a prominent business man but she was convicted for being an accessory to the crime. Can Jo help her finally get her name cleared? Another beautiful story of God's work for the women on the Divine Farm as they learn to trust Him & make a new life!
From beginning to end, the story just kept getting better! I won’t spoil it by getting into details, but suffice it to say that people are healed, mysteries solved, wrongs righted and a happy ending to boot! Yep, I think this is the best one in the series so far - but I seem to think that after each new book! Enjoy! I received a free copy of this book from the author, Hope Callaghan, and write this review voluntarily.
These books are the epitome of "cozy mysteries". The Divine town with people who are supportive of each other. Joanna's mission to help others. The wonderful underlying theme of Divine help and support from the Heavenly Father. And the Angels who help when times of trouble are around. Mysteries with a decent twist to them that Jo has to dig in to help solve. This book also has an eagerly awaited ending!
Tragedies in Jo Pepperdine’s life led her to start a program to give women who had been in prison a place where they could learn skills to successfully re-enter society. But she gave them and everyone else in her life even more. She gave them support, encouragement, love, and the assurance that she believed in them. So far have enjoyed every book in the series.
Hope is one of the best authors I ha ever read. Absolutely.
I like the way Hope includes God and his very clear presents in everyone's life that pray to him and trust that His will be done. I don't dislike anything all her books are wholesome and intriguing with suspense and heart warming stories. I recommend her books to my brothers and friends all the time.
In a surprising twist, one of the farm's residents could have her life completely turned around, and it's up to Jo and the whole team to pull together to make it happen. With some mysteries solved along the way and some major hurdles overcome, justice could finally be within reach. Heartwarming addition to a great series.
This book and it’s Author are definitely worth every word. I Loved the twist and turns and mysteries that occurred in this book. The Characters come to Life and the events are so much closer to the life I lived in the 70’s that I had to say to myself was Hope Callaghan closer to me than I know of. LoL Great Book Hope. I can’t wait for the next one.
Excellent addition to the series. Kelli has always maintained her innocence for the kidnapping crime for which she was imprisoned. It’s almost time for her to leave the safety of the farm and start her new life, when some new information in regard to the crime is received. Jo helps her follow up in an effort to clear her name.
This was a slight departure from most of the other stories in this series but in a wonderful way. The story takes many turns so just when you think you know what will happen it turns again. You will feel as though you’ve gotten to know the entire cast of characters in a more intimate way.
One more wonderful addition to the Divine Cozy Mystery Series!
I didn't think this series could get any more thrilling or exciting, but I was wrong! This book was as good as anything Hope Callaghan has written!! It shows that God is always in control! I hope readers of Ms. Callaghan's various series' will read and enjoy this one as much as I did!! 🙏🙏🙏
Hope Callaghan has done it again. As I have already downloaded book 12 in the series, you’d guess she must be a pretty good writer and the beauty of a series is the character development. I am so glad I stumbled upon The Divine books quite accidentally 11 books ago.
Ms. Callaghan's Divine series is a delight. Great characters in a cozy mystery. Can the ladies prove that Kelli is innocent despite how long ago she was convicted? Great storytelling.
Great book. Loved the story and the amazing characters. Jo , Delta, Nash and Gary makes a wonderful team. Add the women, turning their lives after being incarcerated, makes the story better. Loved the book.
I think I have read all of Hope Callaghan’s books, and the Divine Mystery series is definitely my favorite of her series. I really enjoyed this book and hope there will be many more to come in the future.
Another in this series of a woman who runs a half way house (farm) to assist women released from prison. This one finds the women working to exonerate one of their housemates who was wrongly accused and convicted. I like that this story gave a larger role to some of the women who live at the farm.
Another Divine read! As usual, I have nothing but good to say about this series. Can't stop reading once I start and I am anxiously awaiting Book 12! Thanks for keeping me entertained.
I have read all of the Divine series and I love every one of them. Hope Callahan always puts God front & center of all of her books. I highly recommend this series & all of the Hope Callahan series.
I enjoy Hope's characters and crime solving stories It is a nice escape through easy relaxed reading! Prayers here and there add a real life experience. Enjoy!
The Devine series is a!ways uplifting, the characters real. There's a little mystery and sometimes a little romance. No and all of the others bring life to the story.
Jo and her ladies have formed a bond that is unbreakable. It was so good to hear Kelli's story. These ladies have had to endure hardships yet they as Jo turned lemons into lemonade.
This may be my favorite in the series. This no nonsense story is based on Biblical foundations of following God's guidance, loving one another, and recognizing right from wrong. Simple, beautiful truths.
This Author has done it again! Couldn’t put the book down. The characters are awesome especially the group home Joanna runs helping ladies just out of prison and giving them a new look on life. Of course, solving a murder or two is what Joanna does well.
I have read most of Ms. Callaghan's series and this one is close to the top of my favorites. What I don't like...the series end. You get involved with the characters, at least I do, and hate to say goodbye.I
