“Jiggle my bells, it’s a Christmas miracle”
What’s worse than a delayed flight?
A delayed flight, a broken down train and then a taxi journey from hell all during the busiest time of year, that’s what.
No, no, no, in-fact what’s worse than that, is trying to get home to your family for the festive session, knowing full well you’re not wanted there.
To tie the whole ordeal off with bow on the top, I’ve somehow managed to get stuck with a Christmas loving fanatic throughout the entire ride.
So, I do what I do best throughout it all, I brood with my resting Grinch face plastered on…. or do I?
Her laugh, beauty, kind heart and Christmas puns are kind of endearing.
Maybe, she’s not that bad after all?
Leaving me with one constant thought, can I say goodbye when the time comes?
Or will I be left pine-ing for her?

This was actually quite a good little holiday novella! There’s humor, there’s spice, there’s some emotion.
I do have lots of questions, but I guess you can only fit so much in 100 pages.
There are some formatting issues, and it’s clear at times the author writing these American characters isn’t American. But overall, this was a really cute read. I will be reading the next in the series when it releases.

What a beautiful Christmas short story! It gave me vibes from the movie «Love At First Sight» and really got me excited because it was a movie I loved! I highly recommend reading it! It really puts you in the Christmas mood! I wish there were more pages! I didn’t want to put the book down! The main characters are adorable together!!! Very nice reading for this Christmas!!!

Laura has written a laugh out loud Christmas Novella, Shaun and Brimley were a delight to read.
Shaun is the grinch of Christmas where Brim loves Christmas put these to together on a journey back to New York with a few disruptions and you have this wonderful book, I loved Shaun’s character he’s one liners and his name for Brim had me lol.
If you like a quick read with lol moments and a little bit heat then this is your book.

I don’t know what Ms. Laura hides between the pages of her books but I swear I read them in one sitting every single time!!
This Christmas novella really turned into the Christmas novella of my dreams! The characters, the storyline, the Christmas spirit… I enjoyed and loved every single second! It really was
The airplane setting couldn’t be more perfect, the one bed, the train ride… everything about these were perfection! When I mean I was giggling, blushing, and kicking my feet I really mean I was giggling, blushing, and kicking my feet!!
SHAUN THIS MAN I SWEARRRR! No he really is at the top on my book boyfriend list now! The way he treated Brim and the banter between them… chefs kiss!! And Brim really is something else fr! She is so badass I cannot handle!!
In my eyes there will never be a bad Laura Rush book out there!! I honestly cannot wait for the second book in the letters from the heart series!!

Argumento:
"Mueve mis campanas, es un milagro navideño”
¿Qué es peor que un vuelo retrasado?
Un vuelo retrasado, un tren averiado y luego un viaje en taxi infernal, todo durante la época de mayor actividad del año, eso es.
No, no, no, de hecho, lo que es peor que eso es intentar llegar a casa con tu familia para la sesión festiva, sabiendo muy bien que no te quieren allí.
Para cerrar toda la prueba con un lazo en la parte superior, de alguna manera me las arreglé para quedarme atrapado con una fanática amante de la Navidad durante todo el viaje.
Entonces, hago lo que mejor hago a lo largo de todo esto, reflexiono con mi cara de Grinch en reposo pegada a…. ¿O no?
Su risa, belleza, buen corazón y juegos de palabras navideños son entrañables.
¿Quizás ella no es tan mala después de todo?
Dejándome con un pensamiento constante, ¿podré despedirme cuando llegue el momento?
¿O me quedará suspirando por ella?
Mi humilde opinión:
Romance rápido navideño/heroina ama la navidad/ héroe Grinch/proximidad forzada/ polos opuestos.
Disfruté el loco viaje a casa para navidad de Brim y Shaun. Ella es pura alegría navideña esperando llegar con su familia a tiempo y él es el Grinch personificado que lo último que quiere es volver a casa para navidad con la suya.
Los protagonistas no podían ser más diferentes y tan perfectos juntos. Me encantaron las bromas y sus momentos apasionados. Puede que todo suceda pronto pero sentí que había algo especial esperando ser explorado por ellos. Me gustó cómo se fueron apegando al otro cada vez que quedaban varados en un lugar. Me hicieron sufrir un poco cuando se separan pero lo solucionan de la mejor manera, obviamente con un empujoncito de sus hermanos.
Me gustó la familia de Brim y lo unida que era y su tradición de todos los años. Apagar los teléfonos y disfrutar con la familia es lo que todos deberían hacer. La familia de Shaun era todo lo contrario, había tensión con el padre. Era duro con él y frío. Entendí la razón por la que él era reacio a reunirse con su familia. El padre me hizo enojar, no entendí cómo después de tantos años no se dio cuenta que estaba alejando a su hijo y cómo no intentó hablar con él antes. Solo lo ignoró! Y cuando Shaun lo enfrenta solo entonces reflexiona?
Tiene un epilogo a un año después que aprecié mucho porque quería saber cómo continuo todo con Brim y Shaun.
Me encantó esta historia! Tenía de todo un poco para entrar en calor con la temporada más maravillosa del año❤️☃️

Novela corta, navideña y dulce.
Creo que los personajes fueron escritos perfectamente y nada resultó forzado.
Se pudo sentir la química que había entre ellos desde el principio y como de no conocerse pasaron a ser un lugar de refugio en donde apoyarse. Y los apodos diosss. Fruit Loop y Grinchy ❤️
Me gustó ver la dinámica de los protagonistas con la familia.
Last night though, damn, it’s one I won’t forget in a while. I really did mean it in a good way when I said she's something else. Brimley's a breath of fresh air; she's kind and caring. She could have flicked me off yesterday and told me to stick it where the sun doesn’t shine, but she didn’t. Fruit Loop doesn’t judge.
What happens now? With us?
“I can hear the cogs turning in that head of yours, you know,” her sleepy voice says. I smile down at her.
“Sorry,” I mutter.
“What are you thinking about?” she asks, while wrapping her arm around my waist and throwing her leg over mine. You is what I wanna say but stop myself.
Yesterday my heart felt like it was desperate to get out of its cage from fear, but today it beats erratically for him. Every look he gives me, every soft touch of his hand, I feel my insides leap.Still weird to think I've just met him, but at the same time, it's like we’ve known each other for years. Maybe this was supposed to happen? This is how I'm meant to meet the one?
I went through hell to get here for this magical time of year, but I met the most amazing girl along the way, and I let her go. The woman who knew instantly how to make me feel complete, I watched walk away and I don’t know if I'll ever find Brimley again.
“Mom, what is wrong? Is it my dress? It’s too much isn't it” I say, looking down at it, contemplating if I have time to change.
I hear his voice before I see him, and everything clicks into place. I can't help but return their smiles as he utters those heart stopping words.
“No, Fruit Loop, you’re perfect.”
She's fucking beautiful. It’s the only thought going around in my head.
“Tell me what you want, Brim.”
“You,”
“You’re something else, you know that?” I tell her.
“How so?” she smirks.
“You're easily the most infuriating woman I've ever met. But you’re easily the sexiest woman I've ever had in bed.”

A Hallmark Like Christmas Romance
Opposites attack in this sweet Christmas Hallmark like romance story. We see Brimley our sweet and bubbly FMC with Shaun our grouchy MMC who find themselves in a very unfortunate situation. Between being stuck together on a flight back to the states that was rerouted due to a snow storm, then a train that can't continue due to snow on tracks, and a night in a beat up motel and then a cab ride to Manhatten, all of which share different stages of this uncharacteristic relationship and pushes both Brim and Shaun out of their comfort zones.
There seemed to be some formatting issues with spaces added in the middle of words that bugged me a bit, but it was still readable. If you like sweet romance books, this should be a holiday read for you.

Brim and Shaun have the best meet cute ever, and the connection is instant and fate continues to throw them together as their separate journeys to get them home for Christmas get delayed.
Brim and Shaun are the total opposite, and the little nick names they give each other reflect that! Shaun is the perfect grumpy grinch whose heart definitely grows for Brim.
Their one night together is HOT, and the connection just grows and grows.
This novella had me laughing out loud, and I had the biggest grin on my face throughout the whole thing. I could read a full legth book about these characters it was such a good story.

So, This is Christmas by Laura Rush was such a cute Christmas Novella to read.
Shaun and Brimley meets at the airport in Paris both headed for New York. While Brim adores Christmas and can't wait to get back home to spend Christmas with her family while Shaun dreads going home. This was such a cute opposites attract 🥰 grumpy sunshine.
When their flight gets cancelled and then their train gets snowed in the connection between them grows with a bit of extra spice. 🙈 Although in the beginning Shaun felt like the grinch it was so sweet how soft and caring Shaun got towards Brim.
This was the perfect read with all the Christmas feels that had me smiling all throughout the book. ❄️☃️

So, This Is Christmas is an absolutely delightful read that pulled me in from the very first page. The story moves at a wonderfully engaging pace, making it almost impossible to put down once you start. The characters and their journey are warm, charming, and full of heart.
While it does lead to the happy ending you hope for, the path toward it is crafted in such a fun and refreshing way that it never feels predictable. Instead, it’s uplifting, cozy, and exactly the kind of story you want during the holiday season.

This little holiday story was exactly what I needed as a palate cleanser between some really heavy, in-the-feelings reads. Brimley and Shaun are polar opposites, they couldn’t be more different but I suppose that is what made their journey such an interesting one. Complete black cat/Golden Retriever vibes and I loved every page!
Brimley is a “high on Christmas spirit” gal, while Shaun is the epitome of Mr. Grinch. Tis the freaking season for your Christmasy/holiday era and this was a great way to really kick it off.

We meet Shaun & Brim during their disastrous trip trying to get home to New York for Christmas.
This is an extra sweet and spicy Christmas novella! The grumpy sunshine, only one bed trope was an extremely fun read.
I loved this just as much as Laura’s first novel, Yours Truly. She has a gift with nicknames and laugh out loud moments!

This is a funny, feel good Christmas Novella and for me it was perfect.
I love a grump and Shaun is just brilliant. He huffs, he puffs and he falls hard. Brim is full of positivity and happiness that is not easily dampened. You can see how these two would be ideal for one another.
There’s plenty of laughs and also plenty of heart and emotion. Shaun’s confrontation with his Dad pulled at the heart strings. I’d more than happily read more about these two and their families, particularly Brim’s sisters whose characters seem as colourful as hers.
With a little bit of everything and an abundance of Christmas spirit it’s an excellent choice for the festive period.

I had really high hopes for this and had been looking forward to it- the blurb sounds great and the cover is gorgeous and festive. But it was a massive let down for me. I didn’t connect with either character, and felt there was lots of telling us things/ feelings but no actual showing. I didn’t believe there was any chemistry or feelings between them and was kind of bored.

4.5⭐️ a really great short story about Brim and Shaun who couldn’t be more opposite. He’s totally anti Christmas and she’s the definition of the word. Both stuck together when their flight is cancelled. I loved the banter between these two and the chaos that happens. Really great story and looking forward to the next one.

This is one of the cutest meet cutes I’ve read. Shaun definitely Jingled Brims bells and I’m here for it 😏
It has a nice Hallmark plot plus the spice is like a sprinkle on top 😌

Hilarious! I dont think Ive laughed this much at a book in a while! Brim is a Christmas disaster and I love her!!! I also love how sensitive Shaun is even if he's like the grinch. He had every reason to hate going home but I'm glad it got better. This book was adorable in every single way.
