Leider etwas schwächer als der erste Teil, aber tatsächlich hat mich die Auflösung überrascht! Das fand ich super 😁

Fae'tal Death
When Are thief/conman Owen is found dead in his jail cell, high priestess Evie summons Siobhan and Victoria to the jail. A black smelly goo is found in the cell door containing traces of the deadly voodoo lily. When the Fae Queen's guards unexpectedly arrive with a command from the Queen to appear before her, they have no choice but to go. Due to Victoria's sleuthing reputation, they are told to investigate Owen's house while the guards do the body removal. Victoria gets off to a bad start with Shane, one of the guards. When a second murder occurs in Owen's house, time is running out for Victoria and Siobhan to track down the killer. Joined by Ceara, who has a secret boyfriend in the forbidden Fae forest, the girls search for suspects among the shadier Fae friends of the dead men. Or will they be added to the growing body you?
Great follow up from Book l, Covert Coven. Can be read as a standalone story but much better to read the first too.

Even better than book 1!
The setting is so charming. And I love the characters! I love the magic, and the battle against darkness. I really connect with Victoria, and that is a form of magic too! This whole book was pure magic, highly recommend!
