It was a fascinating experience writing this novel, once again researching the waterways of England and the ancient dialect known as Thieves' Cant.

The Pick takes place three years after The Lock, with Perry back in Oxford once again.

I hope to publish the third and final instalment, The Key, in 2024. It takes place a further three years on, and will finally reveal the mystery of Perry's past.
