From beginning to end this book is amazing, each page leaving you wanting to read on to the next

From deciding to become a PEI and all of the hard work and dedication that Phil displayed in becoming one and a good one at that, to end his career the way it did was sad to read (sadly bully managers exist all over)

The book portrays just what a valuable commodity PE is in prison and how it (and Phil) has been such a positive influence on many prisoners

A truly remarkable story by a prison officer who gave his life to service in the high security prison estate at Parkhurst and Long Lartin and beat the dreaded C once only to be put under and bullied by Governor Clare Pearson Bitch of Long Lartin, who for her joys got fired, and poor old Phil has Cancer returned after he had finished his book, but as for the book, some great stories of Phil looking after some dangerous inmates in the system RIP Phil Currie
