Callie Murphy and Damon Macklin have fantastic, knock-over-the-TV-flip-the-mattress combustible chemistry! They are savages in the best kind of way. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
They really are fantastic together! I love how he intuits some of her hurt and concern, and addresses it without her having to say a thing.
They don't always make the right decisions, but I love the journey!
Summer and Dalilah help keep things fresh and entertaining. They had me laughing on several occasions. Neither suffers fools and you always know where you stand with them.
Speaking of laughing, I busted a gut for the entire chapter where Grant is clued into Callie and Damon's secret. 😂😂 I garnered a few looks from those around me, as I couldn't contain my laughter.
I must say, I love the texts from Randy and his "confession" about what happened with Bridgette. 🤪🤮 The guy is a real dill weed. He's earned plenty of bad karma.
I know this is a refresh of a book that I'd previously read as part of the Cocky Hero Club, Reckless Suit. I love this better than the original. Whether there were a lot of changes or I was in the right place for this, I can't say. Yes, I gave the original five stars, but I'd give this more if I could.
In case you're keeping track, I also love the tie-ins to other books in Alexia's Kansas City universe. 😘 As with most of her books, no prior reading is required.

This was such a good book with a super hot storyline full of steamy chemistry, forbidden relationships, and a very happily ever after. It is a definite must-read.

This book is hot! Callie and Damon meet in Tahoe and she was using a friends name. Callie and Damon were supposed to be just a fling but something just clicked inside as they spent time together. When the parted ways Damon had overheard her on the phone and found out she lied about her name. They didn’t part Tahoe on a good note. Damon was sure he would never see her again and regretted not getting her real name. Fate had other plans for them when they find each other when Damon went to work with a new business partner and found out his mystery woman is his partners daughter. Their story takes you on a bit of an emotional journey. You can’t help but want them to figure things out so that they can get their happy ever after. They will leave you blushing with how explosive they are together.

Well I certainly loved Callie’s filthy fling Damon Macklin. This book was everything romantic and hot and passionate. An older man and a younger woman hook up in pretense but it soon becomes so much more for them both and then we are on the way to a very romantic journey. A fast paced romance that was great and I enjoyed reading to very much. So many wonderful characters and fun moments not only had me on the edge of my seat but also highly entertained. No drama to take away from the romantic story line and this was a great way to enjoy a weekend of reading and relaxing. So very good!

This was a fantastic age gap romance. It was a really well written story full of deliciously steamy bit and also all the feels. Callie and Damon had an interesting beginning to their romance and I loved the way they connected from the start. The story had a little bit of drama but it didn’t overshadow the storyline. I just loved it.

This is a fun steamy read. I liked Callie and Damon. Their start was a little wild and I liked how their relationship progressed. There is plenty of heat to their story as well as emotion. Overall a good read.

Callie Murphy is almost 22 but in her dad's eyes she's still his little girl. When she caught her boyfriend cheating on her with her cousin she decided to get out of town and only tell her best friend who ended up setting it all up for her and letting her use her name instead of her own. At a resort in Lake Tahoe where no one would know her.
Damon Macklin is 37 and at the resort for his daughter's wedding. He meets "Dalilah Knight" at the front desk checking in and uses her name when he tells his daughter he has a date. hoping she will stop trying to set him up with his ex. What could possibly go wrong?
Dalilah agrees to be his fake date but the more time they spend together the less it feels like it's fake. On the last day he overhears a conversation she is having and leaves without saying a word to her. She has no clue what happened and is broken-hearted.
Now back home and finishing up her degree, she is interning at her Dad's business and his new partner comes on board and it's Callie that is going to be working with him. Damon Macklin!

“Her Filthy Fling” is another 5 star. I love this “he falls first/falls harder” trope; thirty-seven-year-old Damon fits this completely. Damon attends his twenty-year-old daughter’s wedding, dreading going there without a date. Twenty-two-year-old Callie happens to be at the right place at the right time, and the two devise a plan where she pretends to be his date for the wedding. Having a brief fling wasn’t part of the plan, but it happened, and a connection was made, though they went their separate ways. Who knew that they would reconnect? Later, Callie finds out Damon is her father’s business partner, and she ends up working with him. Not only that, Damon has not forgotten about her and wants to continue seeing each other.
The spice scenes were hot. Callie is described as the “good girl” and is treated as such by her father, but she wants to learn all the stereotypically not-so-good girl stuff, and Damon is happy to oblige her. There are humourous scenes as well. I enjoyed this one.

Their Unexpected Forever -
Callie just wanted time away to deal with her soon to be ex-boyfriend’s betrayal, so when her best friend convinced her to let loose and enjoy herself, she jumped at Damon’s offer to pretend to be his girlfriend for the weekend. Even though Damon only wanted Callie to pretend to be his girlfriend, he soon realised after spending time with her, that he wanted more with her.
However, what neither one of them knew at the time, was that their encounter was only the beginning of a whirlwind romance filled with subterfuge, steamy encounters, family drama and unnecessary selfless acts. Fortunately, Damon and Callie realised they couldn’t stay away from each other and fought for chance at a forever happiness, especially after Callie informed Damon of the change that was about to happen in their lives.
I really enjoyed reading this book and I am sure you will too. The story was well written and author did a great job to ensure each character shone in their own right. I have enjoyed reading Alexia Chase books for a while and I can say that to date, I have always enjoyed reading her books. Grab a copy of this book and you won’t be disappointed.

What better way to solve their problems than to distract each other by helping each other out.

Until things come to an end, lies were told, secrets were kept, feelings were felt. Then everyone left. But what happens when they meet again because you know they do!
This book is so much fun and with the updates and revisions if you read it before it's absolutely worth a reread.

I loved it. I couldn't put the book down. And I hated seeing the ending because I enjoyed reading Callie and Damon’s story so much. It was wonderful!

Wonderful story.
I loved Callie & Damon's story it was sassy, mega steamy, funny secrets, betrayal, misunderstandings & emotional at times.
After discovering her boyfriend with her cousin her best friend Delilah books her a weekend away under her name so that her dad didn't find out but it's not the relaxing break she was expecting. When checking in under her friends name she bumps into hottie Damon & the chemistry is there from the start but when he introduces himself she has to remember that the booking is under Delilah's name so introduces herself to him with that name. He is at the hotel for his daughter's wedding so when his ex-wife tries coming on to him he is disgusted & tells her he is seeing someone & without thinking blurts out Delilah's name which has the perfect effect of her leaving him alone. Delilah has told Cassie to live in the moment, have fun & not be the good girl she always is so when she meets Damon again she goes along with his rude of being hus girlfriend Infront of hus family who take an immediate liking to her ..well.. except for his ex-wife.
The sexual chemistry between them is off the charts & both agree to a weekend fling but there is also an emotional connection between them so when he over hears her telling her Dad that her friend Delilah has let her stay at her family's place he thinks the worse & leaves. Both feeling lied to, betrayed & hurt by the other they both leave knowing they'll never have to see each other again. Back in their every day lives they cannot stop thinking about each other even though it hurts until one day they meet at the last place they they expected & find that he is her dad's new business partner & friend. They try to stay away from each other & still angry but the connection is still there but are unable to resist.
Agreeing to keep it secret is the worst thing they could have done but it explodes in an epic way.
I don't want to say anymore more only that this is a must read that keeps you glued waiting for the next chapter.

Part of the A Sinfully Forbidden series each book can be read as a standalone a second chance sort of but they are both in a hot mess of a situation 😊 Sometimes fate steps in putting two people together in the right place at the right time. Callie is a sweetheart who just caught her boyfriend …well ex. cheating on her needing some alone time to deal with the betrayal with a best friend who convinces her head out of town just for the weekend to enjoy herself and relax come back refreshed ready to face it all letting it all go especially the jerk. Damon sexy as all get out much older guy there for his daughter’s wedding in need of a date runs into a beautiful young woman taking a chance asks her to be his date which were they both agreed it would end but neither of them counted on the attraction they would feel towards each other or that it would end in something so much more. Now throw in family drama, forbidden moments, stolen moments, a romance that is moving rather quickly because the magnetic pull between the two can be ignore too strong to stay keep them from staying away from one another regardless of their friends or family and neither have ever felt the way they feel with one another so yeah there is that how can they stay away from one another but will they make it work, will the addition be a problem, will it be an issue considering she is his partners daughter, will their age difference continue to be an issue, will they continue to allow others to dictate their happiness or follow their hearts, and are they meant to have their very own HEA?

Ugh! How did this book get so many 4 & 5 star reviews? It was truly aweful!
First, it's insta love and I do mean instant. They meet, have earth shattering sex (that Callie constantly refers to as making love (puke) and 48 hours later she's convinced herself she loves him.
Second, she refers to herself as a good girl and can't seem to do anything that would upset her dad who still refers to her with juvenile nicknames. She supposedly is months from graduating college but acts more like a middle schooler.
Third, just for good measure let's throw in an unexpected surprise pregnancy because she's so mature and responsible she forgets to take her birth co tell pills for 2 days. Mind you, they have a discussion about it prior to having sex and she says she's on the pill. You would think that discussion would jar her memory that she didn't take them but no.
She could be a world class high jumper with the amount of conclusions she jumps to throughout her inept attemp at a relationship.
But unless you're starting to think she's the only hot mess, let me assure you Damen is as well. With all his talk about how innocent and sweet she is, he comes across as a creeper. He has all the emotional maturity of a high schooler as well which is probably why they work....both immature as hell.
The ending with her having a baby with him and his oldest daughter having a baby 3 months later making Callie a grandma at 24.....CRINGE!!!

Like absolutely everything Alexia writes, this book was fabulous!!! This age-gap, Fake date taboo romance book has it all. Damion (47) meets Delilah (22) while checking into the Tahoe resort for his daughter's wedding. She's there to forget her cheating ex. Chaos ensues (namely HIS ex) and they end up fake dating for the weekend. What could go wrong? Well...everything!!
The humor and banter in this book was the best part for me. Of course I adore Alexia's steamy scenes (and oh boy, there were those a plenty🔥). Miscommunication and assumption, as always, tend to be trouble makers along the way, but you have to remember Delilah (actually named Callie) IS only 22, and while she dated her ex for several years, she was never really invested. She didn't care enough to overthink or second-guess his actions (or try to protect him for that matter).
The emotions attributed to the characters were so viseral, and the, descriptions so detailed, that it was easy to feel like a fly on the wall throughout their relationship. I was certainly pulling fir them to get everything straight and find their HEA. Damion surely deserved one, and if Callie could find hers that just 22, well good for her!

Great age-gap romance. This is a re-working of ‘Reckless Suit’ but well worth reading even if you have read that, as this is now a far longer story. Callie has checked herself into a resort in Lake Tahoe – under her friend’s name to escape the pestering of her cheating ex. I loved the way her and older guy, Damon’s, chemistry is instant when she bumps into him in the lobby. His nightmare of an ex-wife (present for their daughter's wedding) causes Damon to lie and claim he has a girlfriend, dropping Callie’s ‘fake’ name into the conversation! I really liked the way Callie backs up Damon and the reader is then taken on an enjoyable, romantic & steamy ride as they get closer over the weekend. The realisation after the wedding, that Callie has been posing as someone else causes Damon to back-off and leave without further contact – but fate has much more in store for these two; their paths crossing again in an amusingly (to the reader) unforseen way when Callie returns home. An unexpected result from their weekend fling in Tahoe adds to the complexity of their relationship and all in all the whole piece makes for an addictive and satisfying read with the inevitable HEA.

This is the 2nd book in the A Sinfully Forbidden series featuring the wonderful funny age-gap romance between Damon and Callie. Damon and Callie's story is very well written and not only is it steamy but it's pretty funny too which I really enjoyed. Damon's oldest child is getting married and her brilliant plan is to fix him up with his crazy ex-wife her mother. Callie has just caught her boyfriend who is now an ex boyfriend with her cousin so she left town and went to Lake Tahoe. She left without telling her father who would have freaked out if he knew that she left Boston. When Damon and Callie bump into each other they agree to help each other. Callie planned on telling Damon everything when the weekend ended but Damon was acting strange. She gets the shock of her life once she's back home interning for her father's company and his new business partner comes in. It's Damon who's going to be working with Callie. You really need to read this wonderful funny age-gap romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Very sexy age gap romance.
OK, from the title you already know this book is going to be full of sex scenes and scorching hot, Ms. Chase writes great sexy times and Callie and Damon get hot and heavy early in the story when they meet at a destination wedding he's throwing for his daughter in Tahoe. Callie's in the same hotel getting over a breakup after finding her ex cheating. Their relationship starts as a ruse to keep his ex away from him, but quickly becomes so much more. A misunderstanding has them parting ways both harbouring hurt feelings.
Of course destiny has them back in each other’s lives shortly thereafter and the ups and downs as they navigate their relationship, the age gap, and her father's stubborn refusal to see her as an adult, bring joy, frustration, and plenty of drama into what happens next.
Well written, the story romps along at a good pace interspersed with, as I said previously, lots of sex scenes.
OK, from the title you already know this book is going to be full of sex scenes and scorching hot, Ms. Chase writes great sexy times and Callie and Damon get hot and heavy early in the story when they meet at a destination wedding he's throwing for his daughter in Tahoe. Callie's in the same hotel getting over a breakup after finding her ex cheating. Their relationship starts as a ruse to keep his ex away from him, but quickly becomes so much more. A misunderstanding has them parting ways both harbouring hurt feelings.
Of course destiny has them back in each other’s lives shortly thereafter and the ups and downs as they navigate their relationship, the age gap, and her father's stubborn refusal to see her as an adult, bring joy, frustration, and plenty of drama into what happens next.
Well written, the story romps along at a good pace interspersed with, as I said previously, lots of sex scenes.

As usual with this author she refuses to proofread. Either that or she can't ever do simple math because ages and years keep flipping around.
And does Damon live in Massachusetts or Kansas City?
His ex wife said she bought a house in his neighbourhood so they can all be a family, but his kids live in KC and he works in Massachusetts. I don't know the States well, but Google maps claims it's a 22 hour car ride.

This story satisfied my romantic heart beyond my expectations. Callie and Damon have an instant connection and sparks fly. I love their easy rapport and cute banter. Having run from her troubles in Boston, meeting Damon and helping him keep his ex-wife at bay by being his fake girlfriend in Lake Tahoe helps ease the humiliation and hurt caused by her ex-boyfriend and cousin's betrayal. I was disappointed in Damon at the end of the weekend to have such a bad reaction to overhearing Callie's phone with her Dad. He does make up for it later and it's every woman's dream...to be fully appreciated, cared for and pleasured until she sees stars.
You will thoroughly enjoy Callie and Damon's story where not only do they get a happy ending, but the supporting characters do as well.

Callie used a friend's name, hotel room and rental car for a quick escape to somewhere else after discovering her boyfriend in bed with her cousin...and she discovered Damon. Damon was there for his daughter's wedding, running into Callie, faking her name as Dalilah. They liked each other, but he was almost old enough to be her father...so when saw each other in hotel bar, and his ex-wife who left him, a two-year old and newborn to "find herself" now wanting to rekindle their association, she agrees to be his fake girlfriend for weekend. She loves weddings, and totally fell for Damon, until part of her lie came to the surface before she flew home...but when she returns to her home and intern job in Boston, discovers Damon new partner in firm...but you will need to read the story to see what happens. This is the second book in the Sinfully Forbidden series. What is more forbidden then hooking up with your Dad's business partner? Damon is divorced, raised two kids to adulthood as a single father and has a successful career. Callie has two months of classes until she graduates college. She catches her long time boyfriend hooking up with her cousin and splits town for weekend. Lake Tahoe is home for the weekend for both Damon and Callie. A agreement on a fake relationship gets complicated with real feelings as the weekend progresses. A fast paced, spicy romance that was a great read. Enjoy!.

What a great read. This is an age gap romance with a lot of steam. It also has a good storyline. Like all of Alexia Chase’s book a lot of her characters interact. Callie just witnessed her boyfriend cheating on her and she take off at the spur of the moment to get herself together. That is so unlike her good girl, obedient image. Damon is in Lake Tahoe for his daughter’s wedding. When his ex wife shows up he panics and tells her he is dating someone and gives her the name of the young girl he met briefly in the lobby. Fake dating turns real quickly.
