“Call me Rae; it’s easier,” I’ve said more times than I can remember.
No one knows that Rae is short for Raven, the name I’ve used as a cover for my hacking activities since before I was even a teenager.
If you need information, any kind of information on anyone, I’m the digitized voice on the other end of the phone or the email that comes from nowhere. I can provide you with any morsel of data you need, even if getting it requires breaking the law.
For the past five years, I’ve been moving constantly and am worn out, ready for a break. Little did I know when I decided to go home for a few days, that a series of events would drag me into the world my father had brutally prepared me for, even though I’ve been running from it my entire life.
The only question is, am I prepared enough to survive?
"Crossed" is filled with unexpected twists, while the spicy romance between the two main characters adds an extra layer of excitement. McKenna expertly blends heart-pounding suspense with deep emotional connections, making this book perfect for readers who enjoy a mix of romance and thriller elements.
The characters are well-developed and relatable, which made me emotionally invested in the outcome of the story. The fast-paced narrative kept me engaged from start to finish, with each chapter leaving me eager to uncover what happens next.
This captivating read will satisfy fans of both romance and thriller genres.
I picked up this book on a whim at a signing and couldn't put it down cover to cover in less than 8 hours!!!!! So much action and a bada$$ heroine had me hooked! On to book 2!
The book just stops. Not like a cliffhanger but stops. Were there chapters missing from the kindle addition? I guess I’m on to book two, but am seriously dumbfounded.
This was so good I don't know where to begin. This young lady is just so interesting, so many facets and such depth. This book isn't going to answer all my questions be the next ones will.
