It's not as easy as it looks on TV. Abigail wasn't looking for love. She just wanted to enjoy her Saturday volunteering at her local animal shelter adoption event. That is until she was given the ultimate babysitting job of watching over the "star" brought in to help boost donations. In walks Liam Caffney an actor on the widely popular television show The EverMorphs. Abigail didn't expect to find love when she volunteered at the local animal shelter adoption event. But everything changes when she's tasked with babysitting Liam Caffney, a popular actor from the TV show "The EverMorphs," who's there to boost donations. Abigail is secretly a huge fan of the show, but she keeps this hidden from Liam. However, their immediate attraction and connection draw them closer together, and they start dating.
As their relationship deepens, Abigail struggles with keeping her fan identity a secret, especially after a bad experience Liam had with a fan in the past. She knows she needs to tell him the truth before he finds out on his own, but the lies keep piling up as they navigate the challenges of dating a TV star and her responsibilities at the high school's spring play.
As they grow closer, Abigail wonders if their relationship can survive the truth bomb that could potentially implode their lives. Will they be able to overcome the secrets and trust issues, or will their romance get canceled before it even has a chance to fully bloom?

From the moment I started reading this book, I fell in love with Abi, the main character. She's so relatable in many ways, and her passion for baking resonated with me since it's also my way to relax! The storyline reminded me of "Spoiler Alert," but in my opinion, it was even better. Finally, a book with a plus-size MC in a smutty romance where the guy doesn't constantly talk about her body size! Abi and Liam's relationship was incredibly sweet, and I'm crossing my fingers that the second book will be about Tess.
However, I must admit that I struggled a bit with the insta-love aspect, which is a personal preference. Additionally, I was a bit surprised that there wasn't an unintended pregnancy considering some of the steamy scenes.
Overall, this book was a delight to read. It's well-written, spicy, and full of humor. I'm eagerly looking forward to more works from this author. A big thank you to Ruby Dare and her team for providing me with a digital copy in exchange for an honest review!

Until Next Time was a cute and quick read. A great reset between larger series.
Sometimes when you’ve been reading large series, you just need to open a book you can read in a few hours and smile at. This is one of those books. A nice palate cleanser if you will. Good in its own and a nice refresh without the commitment of a full course.
Ruby Dare seems to have it down to an art form. The story had good world building and characterizations without causing the book to be too long and taxing.
The story itself was very cute and gave off hallmark movie vibes for sure! Filled with love, secrets, true friendships, and animals? Amazing!
I will say some of the events were fictional. Like the ending of the trip to the zoo. Toronto zoo would never. But that is neither here nor there.
If you want a truly quick and adorable read with a POC FMC, this is the book for you!

Liam and Abi
Some how I came across this new book from an author I’ve never read before. I was pleasantly surprised with the book and truly enjoyed Liam and Abi. He’s and actor on a show she is a huge fan of. With a chance meeting at an animal shelter Liam was volunteering at for pr reasons he and Abi hit it off. I really enjoyed both H and h. Both were very relatable a little angst due to a secret Abi is keeping from Liam. The climax wasn’t overdone nor did the author drag it out. They were grown and that was refreshing. Only gripe I did not get an epilogue and I would have liked to see Liam and Abi down the line. Other than that good read with spice and refreshing characters.

Until Next Time by Ruby Dare

i cannot rave about this book enough! It has everything i love in a cute spicy rom-com. This read was so cozy and heartwarming, i can’t wait to read more from this author!!
The female main character is Abigail. She is a black plus sized woman who is unapologetically herself! I love being this kind of representation in books! The male main character is Liam. He is an actor in a tv series and a total gentlemen that had me melting while reading this book!

Quite entertaing, but several of my pet peeves:
1."the belly of a Real woman" so skiny women aren't real
2. Asking consent before sex, but no condoms - what an asshole
3. Hiring the zipline in the zoo without doing research and then "firing" the guy for pointing that out

This was a cute book. Truly not what I normally read. But the premise was two people who normally not ever meet did. They fall for one another. The actor and the school teacher. The book centers around a tv show with fairies and other out of the world creatures. Although the love story was pretty good my reading selection is not normally the world of make believe. I think this book was written with the idea of blending both worlds. Overall it was a cute story and I did enjoy the characters.

Such a cute story of two people meet who wouldn't normally meet... Duel point of view... lies and misinformation... but a happily ever after in the end...
