Captivating Kat: A Sweet, Small Town Enemies-to-Lovers Story

Rate this book
She's a bartender who's fed up with his antics. He's a regular who can't seem to stay away. Now that they'll have to work together, can they find common ground without destroying each other - or worse, falling in love?

Kat Samuels has had a difficult past. Between losing her father and escaping a toxic relationship, she's content to be on her own. But when her boss puts her in charge of dealing with a bar regular - who also happens to be their accountant - Kat has to find a way to deal with the overly charming, handsome and infuriating Marshall.

Marshall Hudson works across from the best bar in town, which also employs the best bartender in town; Kat Samuels. Maybe it's because he's constantly teasing her, or because he stops in frequently with different women, but Kat seems to despise him. He doesn't mind, until the day she steps into his office as a client. The more they work together, the more Marshall is forced to confront his own past, grief, and life choices.

As annoyance and pride give way to something deeper, will Kat and Marshall learn to trust each other - and themselves?

This sweet (with a dash of spice) romance with an HEA is the third book in the Clover Ridge series.

a good story

I liked this book. It was sweet to see how Kat and Marshall overcame their differences and hesitations and finally came together.
