Or are we done before we even got started?
This can be read as a standalone, it is book 3 of 7 of Untamed Hell fire’s MC series, with a HEA. Due to mature content and themes this book is recommended for readers aged 18+, this novel may contain triggers.Ink
Hero is no prize but in comparison to the irredeemably awful whiny and self-centered heroine, he comes across looking good. She shrieks and cries and is generally downright annoying. The very sincere angst and sad story in Snake was much more believable and touching.
I enjoyed Ink's bromance with his half brother so much more.
Elements in this story parallel the events in Dagger and Gunner.
I fucking loved this one. It was amazing. I loved the first two books, and this one is just as stunning. The story was break taking, and I can't wait to read the next one.
This series is phenomenal, I can’t stop reading. I absolutely loved Ink and Sophie’s story ❤️❤️❤️ once again we have the drama and chaos of club life and I thoroughly enjoy reading about the jealous, scheming club girls, lol 😂 they’ll never learn. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎
Goodreads erased my original Review once again. This was Sophie’s book and I had basically read a lot of her story in a previous book— which I found aggravating as it took away from the other book. Anyways I did like Sophie in this book. I can’t remember much else. I gave it a 2 so that means I barely made it through without a DNf.
This was emotional to say the least it brings up the topic of loss and it's aftermath I know the feeling and still grieve for my dad too. So this was a little hard but a beautiful telling that life dose go on family dose not have to be blood you have to live to honour them.
This is a very emotional book and had me in tears throughout ink still living with the guilt of what happen to dagger meets vet sophie and makes wrong decisions on what he thinks he knows and nearly loses the love of his life sophie has her own devastating things that happen they will need to stick together to get though
Sophie has been working hard to help her Mother keep her house after her father tragically died of cancer. In doing so she finds an unexpected way to help, be the bankers son Todd faux girlfriend until he takes over the bank. She never expected to meet Ink though and her faux boyfriend could ruin it all.
Ink knows Sophie is his heart. That she has a boyfriend though is not going to deter his plan to maker her his. What he does not know though is that his refusal to listen to her about Todd puts doubt in how he truly feels about Sophie and when tragedy strikes Ink is worried he will lose everything including Sophie. Can he be the man he needs to be to be strong for Sophie?
This was a tear fest. A roller coaster of emotions on this one. I thought at times Ink was clueless and Sophie could be a bit winey. You do get a better look at a couple characters stories that are coming up. Ink's story also touches on the fall out of Dagger's story. Each book gets better.
This seemed to be a conglomerate of several books wrapped into one with tons of repetition and d not as much focus in the development between the main characters.
Can't say I liked this all that much. Wasn't a fan of either MMCs. H was spoiled and his brother Dagger paid for all his wrong doings when they were kids. Which Ink didn't know about, but still. h was really depressed all the time, and I understand it, but it was too much. So much drama was going on throughout this book that it wasn't enjoyable at all. Everyone's getting hurt, shot, stabbed etc. I was exhausted after reading it. Lot's of thing's come to light in this book as well with Dagger's mom Lara who died in childbirth. We finally got to see all the drama Ink's mom Leslie caused which was sad.
A continuous complaint I have when reading this series is we have to reread what happened in the previous book, but with a new H and h. Which get's repetitive so I find myself skimming those parts because it's a repeat. That's frustrating.
Another club whore has turned good 😂. Clitter! Can you believe it? Though she's keeping her club name instead of going back to her real name. I must recommend she go back to her real name 😂. And now it's apparent that Ginger is the ring leader/ instigator/ condom sabotaging club whore. I'm sure we won't see her go just yet as she's got her sights set on Flame. Which is the book I'm most interested in.
Safety: while there is no cheating in this. You will be privy to Ink's sexepades as a young man, and they're detailed.
This story is the best one yet. This author got my emotions riding high as she pulled me in and I got to experience the events that happened in this action filled story. There was a little to much repetitive details whole scenes were repeated from the previous books, but the story finally pulled together. I laughed, I cringed, I rejoiced and I cried huge bloopers. This is an excellent addition to this series. She does need an ARC team though. Highly recommend this book and the series. Each book gets better and better. Now I am moving to book 4. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger.
4 stars because I liked how the issues with Sophie were dealt with, but overall, I would have given less. Grammer is getting worse. Todd apparently decided he was marrying Josh instead of Alex, a bit of a snaffuu for their future wedded bliss if he married the wrong guy. I couldn't really connect with Ink at all. Sophie, yes, and it was lovely getting to know her, but honestly, I am starting to think that as an MC, they are pretty crap people generally and not at all subtle in what they do. I am struggling to continue because it feels like a lot of the story is told in bits and pieces in the previous one, so I am not feeling like there is much missed out. Just expanded on.
I have been reading Ms. Mcginlay 's books since the Bound series first came out and I enjoy them so much. If you love MC romances this is must have . Great book Ink is going so much with his blood brother and father then he finds his woman Sophia. Sophia loses her father her best friend. They meet and forces try to separate them and Ink believes then realized his mistake. Read this story to find out if Sophia and Ink can make it together or not. Ms. Mcginlay I do wish Leslie had more happen to her. Can't wait for the next book you put out.
My least favourite so far. Lots of crying from the FMC which I wasn't expecting based of her vibes in the other book. I expected a much stronger character but she falls to pieces at every turn.
There's also always an unnecessary twist/ drama at the end of these books. This one just didn't make sense - the slow ass walk to stab her and you're telling me no MC brothers could have grabbed the woman with the knife? Or shot her... Like it doesn't make sense, especially after she'd attacked a brother... Lost me on that one.

Once the arrangement is completed she chooses to date the MMC. There is a misunderstanding leading to their separation. The MMC must grovel....a few other things happen...HEA
Disclaimer: This is book three in the Untamed Hell Fires MC Series. Last year I read Hawk, which is book seven in this series. At that time I rated Hawk as two stars. Having joined a few mc lovers Facebook groups I found that this author is a favorite. I decided to reread Hawk but to read it in the order of the series. Having done that I changed my rating to three stars. Although the books state they can be read as standalones I find that reading them in order helps for a better experience as the book characters cross over in each book. If you are a fan of mc books and are looking for a quick read in which you know that they are going to have an HEA this is the series for you.
Review: As I am reading each book in this series the story lines are getting better. So when I say I enjoy my latest read in the series---I mean it. The author is showing that her writing is developing. This includes her character development and just making you feel something when you read the book. Having said that the MMC was an idiot. He hurt the FMC over a misunderstanding. But I give him credit for how he handled himself after he found out the truth. I think out of all the FMCs thus far in this series this one is one of my favorites.

This is the 3rd book in the series and this review includes the previous 2 books, Axel and Dagger. The storylines are all decent but man, the people in the Untamed Hellfires MC just can’t catch a break. You’ll need a couple of boxes of Kleenex to make it through. I read them all back to back and it was tough. The characters are all good and interesting. After Ink I’m going to have to take a break bc the stories are heart wrenching. Plus I feel as if the author isn’t comfortable with the English language. The editing must’ve been skipped bc there’s dozens and dozens of grammatical errors and misuse of words, like using hurst when they meant hearse. And characters in the first book are somewhat forgotten. Annalise from Axel is supposed to be pregnant but it’s never mentioned again in subsequent books. I’m not sure I’ll read the next 4 books. It’s emotionally draining reading all the things the characters have to go through. I’m glad I read them but not sure about the ones left
Ink & Sophie: triggers- cancer, domestic abuse, child abuse, child molestation, suicide, mental health. This book got me. I didn't think that C.M. could have beaten "Dagger", but to follow up immediately with his blood brother's story was epic. We have already learned about the discord in Dagger and Ink's family, so it's really Sophie's story that takes centerstage. Sophie is the of a sheriff's deputy and she finds out on graduation day both that her boyfriend has cheated and her father has cancer. This will be the ultimate blow for Sophie as the book progresses. There's a time jump and now we're seeing Sophie cope with everything while meeting Ink. Ink knows she's the one but she's not available.. so it's a waiting game. We get to see Leah(the bartender from Dagger's story) a little more as she is Sophie's BFF and roommate. This book will absolutely break your heart if you've ever lost a loved one, especially a parent. C.M. really got me right in the with this one. Crying ugly tears right at this moment. Such a good book.
I moved up in my stars. The editing is still terrible but the structure seems to be better in this book.
The OTT storyline drama that follows Sophie just makes it bad. She was a painful heroine who I found to be super selfish and self-centered. The mom plot didn’t need to happen.
The hero was a little better in this book. He was a brat of a kid, he acknowledges this. At least there is some personal growth with him.
The whole situation per my last review, with his parents and brother is just way over the top. Far fetched and irredeemable. At least Ink kind of had the excuse of being sheltered and he seemed to believe Dag immediately unlike the dad and MC brothers … this is inconsistent with the brotherhood of an MC for the Old Lady to be so powerful and believed. But even she wouldn’t fuck off making an appearance again. She’s gone now, thank god. That storyline just drove me nuts.
The three stars is more for the hero than anything. I found him more believable in character than the others. He could definitely do better in his love interest.

11% in: I am two chapters in and the author really needs to research if she's going to write books based in the US. She calls Animal Control the "animal welfare agency" and said Sophie became a vet by going to community college. I feel like this book may be a DNF if this is the road we're going down.
Final thoughts: I'm glad I stuck with it because this was by far the best book of the first three and is keeping me around for another one. It was nice to see more about the fall out from Dagger's story coming out since I felt like that wasn't talked about much. Sophie's story about being a vet still irks me because it's just not realistic at all (I know, this is fiction so let it be, blah blah blah) and the grammar and British terms still bug me (how many people do you know who call others "darling"? I definitely don't know enough to fill a whole MC). But I'm going ahead in the series because the accidental pregnancy trope is one of my favorites and I really want to see Slicer's story.
This book was certainly emotional at its best. While I absolutely loved these characters, my heart went out to Sophie as she deals first with the loss of her father with cancer, then a few years later the lose of her best friend/mother. But its Ink who also has to deal with his family, especially his mother, after what came out in the previous book and spilling over into this one. I couldn't help but feel for him.
When both Sophie and Ink met they had that spark and both knew that they were the one for each other. But as life gives twists and turns she wasn't free to follow her heart, and when she did it got trampled on. This I felt was a very emotional book and I'm sure you all will agree. Enjoy reading Charlottes books they really are worth the read!!!!
Love at first sight, that is the romantic setting for ink and Sophie. This couple has such a tragic journey. Ink has to deal with the fact that he has to find out that his mother has betrayed him in the most horrible way that any child can never endure and obviously with that much tragedy. There’s many challenges that follow. Sophie has to deal with the loss of her father then the tragedy that takes her mom and with that loss comes so many obstacles and challenges in life changing issues that can break any person. This story was so heartbreaking and so emotional. The hardest part about reading this book was knowing that suicide is so drastic and damaging. This was an absolute tragic, but Love was so fierce in the story lines. Can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Having met Ink as a character in the previous two books. He has grown and better understands what happened with his brother as well as ending the relationship he had with his abusive mother.
Sophie, our FMC goes through all the stages of grief and more. This was written well but tended to be overdone as the book was ending. It takes another book or two for her to see that her grief pushed her best friends away as well as Ink away.
Club politics come out to play and we learn which club girls are causing problems etc.
These books all follow a recipe of a club brother finding his old lady. He messes up big time. Both main characters have baggage of some sort. Grovel time and a happily ever after.
So the retelling of scenes and dialogue happened again!! The need for an editor is also apparent. This is book 3 and the same misuse of tenses is evident throughout, it's so distracting. If this book has been edited I don't know how it can be!! I'm disappointed because I do like the series. But after finishing this series I am out off the author's other books. Edited-after reading book 4 I'm fuming with the fmc!! I was sobbing at this book and now I just think she's selfish. But I am upping this review to 4 stars because it made me so emotional. These books are good but the could be great,it makes me sad.

Another great read in the series not least because we see progress in travis' saga from book 2.
Again I couldnt put this book down it had everything.
My only thing I couldn't quite get is Sophie' ott behaviour to loosing her mum, I just found it way ott n bizarre. A child absolutely but almost committing suicide because your mothers dead is just beyond my level of empathy. I get devastation I really do, I get soul destroying devastion like losing your child but your mum, nah sorry it just was too much and didn't ring true. Hence it lost a star.
Notwithstanding a fabulous book!!

I’ve enjoyed this series very much. If you read this book have a box of tissues. But I agree with the other review, you differently need a proofreader for all your writings. It sucks when you have to go back and reread a sentence because it doesn’t make sense. I realize all the books so far happen in the same time frame, just different guys having their own experiences. So it can still be told what baby each couple had & their name. Author, please do better & hire someone to proofread or fire who you have.
Grovel = H says some awful stuff directly to h's face for which he must grovel; H also was keeping h secret so she felt like a booty call but his reasoning was not wanting others to interfere OW drama = There were several OWs, but either the H put them in their place or the h did; just past conquests, wannabes and H's egg donor causing issues
No cheating (I may have pouted...love me some drama from cheating!!)
