What a fantastic conclusion to this series! I was both excited and a little nervous to dive into this book. Excited because I was eager to see what would happen to these characters I’ve come to love. I was nervous for the exact same reason. Would they be able to defeat the bad guy and save the country? And how were they going to accomplish that? I was stressed from beginning to end because there were times when things looked impossible. Hopeless, even.

There was a sense of urgency and foreboding throughout the whole book, and my anxiety seemed to grow with each page I read. This was action-packed, exciting, and thought-provoking. I know it’ll stay with me for a long time. If you’re a fan of thrilling, eye-opening dystopias, you’ll love this series. I highly recommend it!

Oh my God. I am emotionally destroyed. I have cried so hard. The obvious romantic plot in this series is not the one that stole my heart. It was the quiet one, the one I thought was safe that crept in and devastated me. The most devastating act of sacrifice was penned in this book and I am heartbroken. But simultaneously my heart is won.

A poignant end to a wonderful, sometimes tedious but no less beautiful narrative. I literally threw my phone (read via Kindle app) when I realized what was about to happen. I fell in love with these characters, especially the ones on the fringe who weaseled their way into my heart. Dear Lord, how will I recover?

The Retributions of Eden Pruitt is nail-biting and non-stop action from the very beginning. I do recommend reading this series in order because otherwise you will be confused by the number of characters and the plotline.

I liked this concluding book in the series but I will admit that sometimes some of the plot was confusing as some of the elements weren't completely clear to me, but it was enough that I continued because of mainly the strong characters and I wanted to see how it ended. This would make a great movie.

Worth the read

I would have said it wasn't possible to write a near-future dystopia that actually upended current politics, but this writer seems to have managed it. It was hard to see where it was going, due to the bad guy being a pretty obvious version of Elon Musk. Perhaps this was written before Musk became a politically polarizing figure.

Anyway, this was an interesting story, at least as good as her Gifting series. Worth the read.

And finally here is the end! Oh my what a ride! it is certainly a great ending, although I would have loved more about the Forresters and the electus in the epilogue. Anyway, the books was great! everything explained, everything resolved. It was a great reading and I cried, really cried.... I loved this series, just as much as The Gifting, if you haven't read it I strongly recommend it.

I loved this series! From beginning to end and I couldn’t put it down. It was nonstop action and twists and turns and now I’m so sad it’s over. I loved all of the people and was so invested in their situations. I cried at the end! 😭 Definitely recommend this series—actually I recommend everything by Katie Ganshert!

A phenomenal ending!

Eden, Cassian, Cleo and the Resistance are working hard to save as many as possible. This book keeps moving along so I did not want to stop reading.

I'm a bit sad to reach the end which was hard but well done, and surprising. I don't think anyone will see it coming. :) So, read all the books!

I wanted more in the way of an epilogue, and I cried like a baby when a certain character died, but regardless, this was a satisfying conclusion to the series.
