EnricoShe wasn’t supposed to be on my radar. Another woman who was caught up in the traffickers’ sights, but one look at January and I’d become as lost as Dario and Alessio before me. I had no choice but to hunt her down and make her mine, even if that meant doing some illegal things. Nothing new to me anyway.JanuaryThe brute. I spotted him and knew he was trouble, but deep down, I hadn’t expected to crave his crazy. Trying to flee a dangerous situation, I jumped right into another. The brute had me captive, and I had no choice but to trust him because someone was after me. I desired his insanity even as I pushed him to get away. Should I flee and risk running into danger, or should I stay and endanger my heart and soul?
Hot damn🥵 I thought Dario and Alessio were awesome, but Enrico is in another league.😉 Enrico sees a picture of January and is instantly smitten and now he knows how his friends feel. January gets kidnapped by the hot Enforcer and tries everything to get away from him and to get on his nerves. But Enrico found his wife and nothing and nobody can stop him from claiming his woman. This was another awesome story in the Conti series where the men fall head over heels for their women and worship them. 🥰🥰 Instalove, sweet, steamy, with action , romantic ,fun to read, great banter and safe with a sweet HEA 😍😍😍😍😍😍 Can't freaking wait for Matteo and Vivians story and how he will tame his little hellion 🥰🥰
quick and short read. insta-love with ridiculous plot but i dig it. 😂 my only issue is the name-calling and aggression towards other woman. there was a scene where a woman delivered their food and she flirted with enrico. then january got mad and called her names and insulted her. idk, it just didn't sit well with me, i think fmcs could still express their jealousy by not being an utter witch. 🤷♀️
anywaaaay, i enjoyed it and most especially the epilogue.
book info: - no cheating / opd / 3rd act breakup - mafia-ish romance - captive romance - parent abandonment - death of a loved one - virgin h, no background on H - novella - instalove - hea with epilogue

January is interning for a very prominent investigative reporter but little does she realize her and her best friends are on the radar of a sex trafficking ring. Will Enrico be able to save her?
3.5 stars Safe No cheating No OM No OW No separation No gross condom use virgin h no history on H although he seems experienced unfortunately. Not a manwhore though. HEA I have mixed feelings on this one. The dynamic between Enrico and January fit well. They are both feisty, are not afraid to be in dangerous situations and like it rough. So there was lot more adventure in this one and they get handsy with one another and I did not know how to feel about it. Example; Enrico got a message from a tech savvy friend that January gave their location when they are in hiding. He feels betrayed and grabs her by the neck, throws her on the bed to confront her. She is surprised and says, why are you hurting me, he feels regret, but still holds onto her arms and lets her explain. She did not betray them, just wanted to throw them off and did not give their location away, just a hotel that looks just like it a few streets down from where they are. He apologizes, looks to see if he hurt her and she tells him, I'm ok, you didn't hurt me, you big brute. After that the neck grabbing and rough sex is what they enjoy, and I like that a lot, it was just weirdly written where I had mixed feelings. He does love her, when he first sees a pic of her, and kidnaps her. He already deemed her his future wife and wants lots of babies with her, I love love LOVE, when the Hero is unwavering in his strong feeling of love and forever, before even meeting the heroine! You cannot deny that he is head over heels for her. He is just not a gentle giant (and I prefer those), but he is rough and tough at 6'7, she enjoys it since she is rough around the edges too. He is super protective and growly and I enjoyed the majority of their adventures. The sex is hot, and the love is there. I had this odd feeling I didn't like with the epilogue. He did not want a little girl, but their third kid is a little girl, Vivian, and she is described as a hellion. I like feisty, smarty pants kids, but the way that January and Enrico describe her and talk about her, seems closer to her being a bother and trouble maker, rather than, aww look at our little hellion, she is our princess and we love her. They do love her, but it seems like she was more of a nuisance to them and I did not like that. It would have been nice to read the inner monologue of them loving their daughter, it left me with the feeling that they don't when I know that they do. It just felt off to me. When you read it, you'll understand. The last epilogue is Vivian turning 18 still a hellion and mad at Mateo, the Don's (Dario's) son. I hope we have a dual virgin romance with this second generation. Mateo wants Vivian and I am craving a dual virgin romance from CM Steele. Anyways, yeah, I still recommend the read, it was just odd to me and a few parts I just didn't like. I preferred the first two in the series. I think Enrico was a little too gruff for me. Happy reading!
When Januarys work makes her a target, she gains the attention of more than just dangerous traffickers. She grabs the eye of Enrico. With him being her unexpected saviour, the chemistry between them is explosive and so too is the emotion.
A read that is full of danger, passion, a sassy heroine who meets her match in a possessive, dangerous man and a fantastic epilogue to tie it all together.
I am loving this series, never disappoints. Enrico is a bad ass but he happened to fall in love with a she boss. January is a reporter, she spotted him right away and he didn’t even know it. Now that they are a team they made an incredible family. The next book happens to be about their daughter, I can’t freaking wait!!!!
I just love that these three girls who are as close as sisters (or actually sisters) have all married into the same family. Enrico and January fell just as hard and fast as their friends. The chemistry burns right off the page. They are meant to be. I’m excited for more from this family.
Enrico is so hott!!! I knew he'd be 🔥, but it is so much more than I expected. January is the perfect woman for him. She is sassy, sarcastic, blunt, and isn't afraid of anything. I loved reading their story. But man their epiloge made this story even better!!!
WOW! Soo soo good and soo soo H.O.T I love Enrico and January, they're soo funny and soo perfect for each other! Such a wonderful and beautiful love story! I absolutly loved it soo soo much! 😍❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🥰
This was great from beginning to end. I loved the characters and their chemistry and connections. Of all the three books this one was my favorite. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series
All of the hotness I have come to love with this series and these characters. Enrico and January were intense and over the top. This was a great conclusion to this storyline. Loved it!
I loved this couple! Definitely a favorite of mine. I enjoyed the storyline and how she tied the other two books into this one. I also loved how she gave us a preview of the next generation!!
I can't get enough of the Conti Family. I laughed when Enrico thought he would not get as twisted about a woman as his bosses did. January threw him for a loop from the first meeting.
Enricho is awesome, lol. I love his and January's banter. January is extremely smart, and Enricho is her protector. All these men know what they want for sure, and don't stop till they have it.
Enrico and January. I loved reading this story. This is the 3rd book in the Conti Crime Family series. I loved the characters, plot and storyline. I loved the twists.
All it takes is a picture of January and Enrico is hooked, he will make her his so when he learns her boss took on a trip and they suspect him of human trafficking, Enrico will do anything to keep her safe, even kidnapping in this entertaining read.
Another fantastic book by C.M. Steele. I love this series and can’t wait to read book 4. This onw was absolutely hilarious. I was laughing out loud so often. I would highly recommend this book and series.
3stars Fun, quick read. Mafia. Deaths. Insta love. Lots of dirty sex. Not high literature. But reasonably fun. Thin plot. And then a look into the future.
