Every time I read one of Mrs. Porters books I think, the next one can’t be better than this. Well, I’m proven wrong again. This book takes us on a journey of a young love that was so strong, over a decade later the feelings are still the same.
Cade and Shelby were high school sweethearts who they’d always be together. After Shelby finishes college in California, she wants to stay in California and pursue her dreams. Cade has responsibilities at his families ranch and can’t walk away from them. Cade is forced to let Shelby go, but he never stops loving her. Shelby tries to move on with her life and meets Jake. Jake is a billionaire and has an obsession with Shelby. One trip home for Shelby and when she sees Cade, all those feeling resurface. She knows she needs to end her relationship with Jake and follow her heart which belongs to Cade. The question is, can Shelby get away from Jake and have her HEA with Cade or will Jake change her mind.

I enjoyed this second chance romance book. Childhood sweethearts that were torn apart by lives choses but still had that strong connection after so long.

Awesome Book
This was another Awesome book. This is the first book, in the new series. Four things caught my attention in this book. The Author (of course), the cover, the blub and its a new series, of hers. I just knew this book was going to be Awesome. I was Definitely, Not Disappointed.

This book has Second chances, romance, small town, Page turner, Alpha MC Cowboy, love conquer all, danger, love, Tomcat and Honeybee, wonderful characters, steamy, consuming story, drama, intensity, twist and turns, HEA, sassy heroine, Alpha Hero, , action pack, entertaining, funny, I can keep , going on and on. This is another Must Read and New Series.

The couple: Cade and Shelby

Plot: Cade and Shelby had something special, but when it was time to go to college, she wanted to leave town for good and Cade knew that his destiny was at home. So they went their separate ways while never forgetting each other. Now Shelby's back in town and Cade intends to make her see how good they can be together. That is, if her current boyfriend doesn't interfere too much.
Commentary: Cartoonish villain who was somehow in with all the organized crime/cartel sort of people, but secretly. And then went a little loopy upon meeting the competition.
I felt very little sympathy for the heroine (with respect to her romance with Cade) - she chose to leave him (after stringing him along for a year or so) because "nobody understands me or my big ambitions that are nothing like what anyone else around me has." She was a little insufferable, and then when tragedy struck and she found herself in danger, she was absolutely useless. The only good thing was that she recognized her mistakes.
Cade was an okay character - he still had feelings for Shelby but had lived his life. I didn't think he was too bright but he was a little more honest with himself than Shelby.

Once again Naomi did it. I loved the story line she can make you feel something different about each character. I really didn’t like one and it came as a shock how looking back you could tell he was off. Loved it!

ARC Review - Naomi did it ones again! Loved Cade and Shelby's story. If you have read Hells Bells you will remember cade as Tomcat. After Rocky had dismantled the Hells Bells Cade headed back home to his home town. The ine thing missing was his best friend and love of his life Shelby. Shelby and Cade grew up together in Burtwood they were made for each other but Shelby was looking for a different life outside her little darling town. She wanted to prove to all the other women that they could make it outside of Burntwood as well. For 12 Years Cade and Shelby pined for each other but Shelby finally met someone new and brought him home to meet her parents. Cade had a feeling about Jake from the beginning and would do anything to make sure Shelby was safe. One phone call was all it took to change everything for Shelby and she realized what a mistake she made and just wanted to be back in Cade's arms but other forces kept her from what she truly wanted. Cade finds out that Shelby is in trouble and with the help of his friends from Knight's Legion he will do everything it takes to get Shelby back in his arms and out of harms way. With the help of his friends and the town they are able to keep Shelby safe but is she really? Take a journey on a forever kind of love a love that never dies. You will not regret it. You sint need to read any of the other series to start this book but if you want a glimpse into Knight's Legion or Hells Bells then it is well worth the read. Noami has perfected her characters and really knows how to bring them to life in each and every book. You will not be disappointed.

Book 1 in not only a new series but a new direction for Naomi Porter. This may be a new direction but there is no loss of the classic Naomi Porter flare that she brings to her books.
This is a book of second chance love, with the classic male alpha, willing to do what ever he needs to do to protect the girl that he has always loved. In his eyes they always would have came full circle to get back to each other. For her things have moved on, she moved away and he done the one thing that he said he never would do and that was move, he wasnt willing to do that for her and that stung. She has a man, she is in love with him, right well already we know something isnt right as she has not said that famous L word to him, but seeing Cade again awakens feelings that she buried deep down. What actually is she feeling, she has a boyfriend, she shouldnt feel anything for Cade, but things just are falling apart in her relationship. The thing is Shelby will do anything for her family, friends and Cade, even if it means doing what she doesnt want to do.
I loved how Naomi tells us two stories in one in this book, the current and then we get great flashbacks of what life for Shelby and Cade were like when they were together. This story is not an instant lets get back together in the first part of the book it builds to the point of anticipation that yu are shouting for Cade to get his woman.
Loved the appearance of our Knight boys and I am super excited for the other books to come and if this is book 1 we are in for a treat.

I love Ms.Porter's books and her characters. I have been a fan of hers for a couple of years and every time I hear about a new book by her coming out I know without a doubt it will be riveting and Branded is just that book. Branded is a second-chance romance that is not all roses and rainbows but one that is gut-wrenching, heartbreaking, and one that has my head spinning.
We read about Cade and Shelby, two people who grew up together in Burntwood, fell in love and their time together ended when Shelby left for Califonia. She finds a new love, Jake, and Cade joins a motorcycle club. He now runs the farm that was his family's. Being home for her parent's anniversary causes some problems because she brought her boyfriend with her but Cade was unaware she had one. Feelings come back to the surface between Cade and Shelby. Things seem off and red flags are raised with her sister. When she and Jake return home things are not as they once were. Needing to end her relationship Shelby does something that has Cade losing his mind and puts herself in danger. Can Cade and Shelby ever get their HEA? Will she be safe with him?
I found this book so addictive that I was unable to put it down. The characters and storyline had my full attention right from the start. I can't wait to see what Ms. Porter has in store for us with the next installment in the Burntwood series.

Ms. Porter never disappoints me with her work. But when you fuse motorcycle romance with small town and get a former motorcycle club member rancher in the picture, baby... I'm all over this!!!
Caution: if you haven't read Hells Bells MC standalone or the first few of the Knights Legion MC, you'll miss out on why some of the characters and their connections are important. But Naomi is brilliant with not harping on why but why they are important in this story. Shelby and Cade (aka Tomcat) have my heart.
The way they love each other even when Shelby has a new man in her life. Cade can be a patient man for not for very long. When Jake and Shelby come back from visiting her family and after Jake changed, Shelby begins to see the monster he is. She turns to the man that once filled her heart.
But when a monster wants what he wants, Shelby becomes the shell of the woman to the point of breaking. It takes her knight in chrome to rescue her.
The way that Cade simply waits for her and is there makes my soul weep and cry out for their strength.

Wow, just wow! What a great start to a new series by Naomi Porter!! Branded is the first book in her new small town romance series. As usual, Naomi didn’t disappoint!! This is the story of Shelby and Cade, childhood sweethearts. Shelby left her Burntwood for college and they went their separate ways when she wanted to start her life on the west coast. When Shelby returns home with her billionaire boyfriend for her parents anniversary party, Cade is there and the love between them is still there, but so is the boyfriend. When she returns to her California home, things start to turn downright brutal for her and her knight in shining armor is able to rescue her with the help of some familiar faces from KLMC! Always great to see Storm and the guys show up! Just as things are going great coe Shelby and Cade, Jake shows back up, but not for long!! They finally get their HEA. This book is full of excitement, ALL the spice and tears!!! I can’t wait for the next book in the series!!

Well Mrs Porter does it again. once I started reading Branded I could not put it down it’s a wonderful mix of small town romance and gruff alpha cowboy/ biker bad boy. Cade and Shelby we high school sweethearts they we each others first everything, but Shelby wanted more out of life than living in a small town, the pull of university and a life in sunny California and career she loved called but Cade wanted small town so she broke his heart and moved away. Year later she thought she had found happiness again with Billionaire Jake but a trip back to her home town brought out Jakes true colours.
How far will Jake go to keep what he feels is his ?
With help from his friends will Cade save Shelby and finally get his honeybee back after over a decade part ?
It was wonderful to see storm and the nights make an appearance.
We meet lots of the Burntwood single residents in this book and I’am very much looking forward to see where this series goes 😊

Branded is such a good story and a great first book in a new series. The characters are great, the world building is perfect, and the plot is thrilling. Shelby goes through a lot to get her life back on track, and Cade is the perfect, golden retriever hero. I love all the side characters, especially Shelby’s spitfire sister Olivia and best friend Martina. I have always loved a cowboy book but Naomi has given me a new way to enjoy them - entwine it with also being an ex Biker!! I absolutely loved this book and fell in love with Shelby & Cade. From the moment Shelby stepped foot back in Burntwood I was praying for her to stop denying her feelings and grab Cade and ride that cowboy all the way back to his ranch!! It had me laughing, feeling sad, angry and all the feelings in between - can’t wait for the next instalment of the Burntwood series.
As always getting snippets of our favourite KLMC was a joy and made it all the much better!

Got to 18% and realized Cade was from Rocky’s book. Here’s an excerpt from that book when Cade is speaking to the club whore heroine (Ella) during sex- “Fuck, I’ve never had anyone sweeter than you.” He kissed my inner thighs. “Can’t wait to sink my cock into this perfect pussy.” Hmmm, I guess he really missed his one true love…🤔
Cade also drunkenly calls the Ella in this book and talks dirty to her while calling her this heroine’s name. Another very romantic addition 🙄. And guess what? Ella and her douche bag husband actually come to Shelby’s parents anniversary party!!!!
I don’t want to read about OW or OM in this amount of detail. Took away from any romance between the mains.

Slow Burn! This AMAZING 2nd chance romance by @naomiporterauthor is another fabulous creation! One could consider this to be the follow up to Hell's Bells with Rocky Jones and Ella, but you can read this as a complete stand alone as well! Here we get the story of TomCat/Cade who was introduced to us in Rocky's story. This book does have dark elements so you have been warned! It is a great read and extremely well written to give the reader the entire back story to this amazing couple! You will not be disappointed with this read!

She's done it again! This author has brought us another fantastic, steamy, consuming story, that brings everything we love about her work in a different world. Cade and Shelbys story is an excellent second chance romance that has all the feels, excitement, drama and intensity you could possibly want. Cade is the definition of an alpha man and pulls no punches when he finds out Shelby needs help. I love Naomis books for the bikers, so was a little sceptical when I heard about this one...... but Holy moly, did she smash it!
Cade is the brooding cowboy sorry rancher ex MC member with a frozen heart of gold and Shelby who IMO needed a good shake.... who leaves Cade aka Tomcat to work in a museum???
But as always Naomi led us a merry dance for these childhood sweethearts to get there HEA.....!
Can't wait for more instalments from Burntwood I feel things are going to get a little bit dirty 🫦

Every book by Ms. Porter cements my love of her writing. She creates characters that you become invested in, that you love. This story is no different and I love how she always gives us a connection to characters we have met even if it is small. Shelby and Cade are high school sweethearts who never stopped loving each other. Despite Shelby seeming to have moved on, we soon see the truth of some things. I loved watching Shelby and Cade get their second chance at happy ever after. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I loved Cade and his love for his Honeybee! Shelby thought she had to leave the country life to feel complete and in doing so lost her one true love. A second chance at that love is written brilliantly by Naomi and I am in love with this series already!!! We get cameos from other characters and see how
they all come together. This is a love story you want to read and I cannot wait to read more about this family!!!

Ok let me start off with this warning, if your likes and love a great story. This is amazing how true love Shine through. Be read to cry in this story be careful if you read in public. I was not ready for the crying I did with this story. Especially when I was reading at work I couldn't put it down. Love how other characters keep showing up. They all work together. Now I am glad I finished this can't wait for more books.

Totally amazing rollercoaster ride of emotions with this one highly recommended Branded it is small town/ second chance romance, but it is a page turner. Cade & Shelby's story was about two people that started as high school sweethearts, but life happened, and they went their separate ways because he had obligations and she wanted to follow her dreams. But fate has a way of bringing some people back together one way or another and these two get a second chance at romance.

Had me in tears many times
This story was so emotional. The road that the main characters had to take to finally be together was a hard one and it took many years. My heart broke for all that the MFC endured but I was happy that she and the MMC were able to work together to heal. Care was so wonderful to and for Shelby. I also loved Shell's siblings and would be very interested in reading their stories as well.
This book had steam, mystery, angst but ultimately a HEA.

Another great start to a new series beginning with a second chance romance story! I really enjoyed that this book included the KLMC family and tied back to Hells Bells. Cade, aka Tomcat, has been waiting for the love his life Shelby to give him another chance. And although it takes awhile for them to get there, they do get their HEA. Can’t wait to see where Naomi takes us with this series.

You did it again
First, let me just say I love to read your books. There hadn't been a book of your that I put down because it didn't keep my interest. I love to read books that are MC, but with Branded, I couldn't put it down. I will say this it was different, not reading about someone in the club or from the club. I can't wait till the next one comes out.
