Cameron and Samaras story was a great set up for the next part of the series. I suggest reading Remis story first just to get more insight on Cameron but it’s not tally necessary. Samara is definitely not what he’s use to and looking forward to seeing how he deal with her when he doesn’t even know how

Wonder & INTRIGUE
Cameron and Samara's story is a mixture of fire and ice. They ignite a fire of desire for each other only to douse it in ice to freeze each other an the unwanted feelings out. Samara is running from her mysterious past and Cameron is in it for financial and business gain. I don't my know where this story is headed but I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of heated excitement to come. The cliffy has me scratching my head with wonder as to what is in store for these two and tickled with bursts of excitement for a dance that will most likely set the pace to this intriguing story.

They’re back! Shayne Ford has released the next instalment to this amazing series and we finally get to read Cameron’s story.
Remi has stepped down from managing their club business and it is up to Cameron to takeover the reigns and drive the business forward. He needs a new main attraction for their NY based club in order to attract new customers and he thinks he’s found it… she’s the beautiful waitress who works at one of his favourite restaurants in Manhattan. He just needs to convince her to join the team.
Beautiful brunette Samara is no pushover when it comes to the charms of men, and she certainly has no interest in becoming involved with anyone right now. Especially not with the gorgeous man who frequents the restaurant she works at. Having recently moved to New York with $50 to her name, she finally starts to land her on feet and move on with her life. The last thing she needs is to get romantically involved with someone, so when Cameron Torres takes an interest in her, she quickly shuts him down and warns him to stay away. Mmm… little does she know that Cameron has no intention on backing down, because he needs her for his club, and his prepared to anything win this power struggle.
I really loved Semara’s strong and resilient character. She’s a real fighter and knows how to take care of herself, especially when times are tough. The dynamics between the two characters is electrifying and the sexual tension between them… magnetic. The more she tries to stay away from Cameron, the closer she’s drawn into his orbit, and he’s not going to allow her push him away. I look forward to seeing where this all goes in the next book.

'Cameron' is the twelfth book in Shayne Ford's "Night of the Diamonds" series and the first book in Cameron's story. If you've been following this series from its conception then you know Remi and Esme have fallen in love and Remi has left the business leaving Cameron in charge. With things changing the way they have, Remi and Cameron decide the business needs a rebranding, of sorts, and with that, he needs something as the main attraction. Something with the allure of a promise yet to be fulfilled and he thinks he's found her. She, Samara, is a waitress at a high-end restaurant he enjoys. She has IT. That indefinable quality that surrounds a person with confidence, sex appeal, allure … fire, and ice … makes men ignore their sense of reason but she's a wild card. Samara has had a rough life. She's made choices that have taught her hard lessons at a young age. She's bold, outspoken, opinionated, and like Cameron, can read people. Their tug of war and banter back and forth is like kindling to their unacknowledged attraction towards each other. I think Cameron has met his match and Samara is about to be taught that all is not what she's learned. It's great to be back in their world. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I see we are about to embark on another wild journey with Shayne. This one continues when Cameron takes over the business. Their business is sex clubs and you got to have something exquisite to keep them coming back. Cameron see Samara waitressing at an upscale restaurant. He's intrigued to say the least. Samara is a bit standoffish. She knows what men wants and has the power and confidence to give it to them. Cameron sees that in her. She warns him off but that doesn't stop him. Their dynamics is like a volcano. Building up steam. You don't know if it's going to blow or will it consume everything in it paths. He has a proposal for her to come and dance for him. There will be no sex for her. She dances and that's all. The tables are about to turn. Cameron has a possessive streak and is unwilling to share.

I get so excited when Ms. Ford starts a new series. Her stories are so hot! Actually Cameron is a spinoff of the Remi and Esme series, The Night of the Diamonds.
Cameron is a good friend and partner of Remi's. He is taking over for him as his life has changed with Esme. There was just enough back story to remind me how Cameron fit into this series. It is so HOT. He is so HOT! Samara is a family friend of Esme's. She has a shady past. She is very independent and trusts no one but herself. She has kinks that just might make Cameron interested both professionally and personally. But they have mystetious and complicated issues.
This is so good. And, as usual, Ms. Ford throws in her yummy desserts and chic fashion.
I can't wait for the next book.

I went to work today sleep deprived cause I couldn't stop reading Cameron and damn if it wasn't worth every hour lost. I love how fiery Samara is she gives Cameron a run for his money. Book one lays down the foundation for Cameron and Samara's story and goodness gracious ! what a way to start. If you haven't read the other books in the Night of the Diamonds series your truly missing out it's my recommendation that you start asap.

Yes, a strong female main character. I am loving Samara, with her men can kiss my ass mentality. About darn time. I have no doubt she and Cameron will be heating up the pages soon.However, Cameron is keeping things under wraps, and you really don't get much about him from this portion of the book. My money is on Samara, I think Samara will bring him to his knees.Get'em girl!!!

This is going to be a great set of books! Hot, steamy, twisted and full of questions to be answered! Cameron is one hot fella! You just want him to put his shoes under your bed! Samara is beautiful and full of being mistreated! She doesn’t trust anybody! Can’t wait for them to get together! Get to get know what’s going on with Remi and Esme! Enjoyable read!

I received an ARC of this book and this is my review. This story keeps you interested. The main characters, Cameron and Samara, are very likeable. It's the beginning of their story and it seems that it will not disappoint. I'm looking forward to the next book. A must read.

What a book I cannot wait to read the next one. Cameron keeps going into the restaurant that Samara works in he is intrigued by her and she likes him. This story is will they or won’t they get together. Samara hasn’t had a good life until she moved but now she has chances. She takes dance classes and gets good tips from the restaurant. Cameron still has his businesses overseas but sees more ,in Samara. I received an ARC for an honest review which I have given

Amazing start to the series, with a dark heroine

I found this story very different from the others in general of Shayne Ford. Here, for the moment, the sensuality, the attraction, the carnal is whispered in promise of the second part. The characters are also different.
Samara likes her relationships with slightly twisted, crazy men who dominate her and she tends to keep people away from her, from her feelings, describing herself as a dark angel. Her description by herself is rather dark and when she meets Cameron (already met in Esme's story), she is all the more surprised at her attraction to this mysterious man who seems unaware when she warns him about herself. The characters are ultimately as twisted as each other, and it is true that the character of Samara seems to carry a dark melancholy for which a happy ending seems difficult to be possible. Facing her, Cameron is between denial, the game to defeat her, the surprise linked to the impossibility of predicting how Samara will react, who will dominate the other.
It's definitely not a comedy, but the tension of the story, their psychological complexity makes you want to discover how they will evolve.

CAMERON: A Dark Billionaire Romance (Night of the Diamonds Book 12) by Shanye Ford. This is one of those series that you just can’t get enough of…the author has a genuine flair for storytelling that sucks you right in and makes you feel like you are there in the moment, it’s amazing! Cameron’s story is filled with dark and sensual romance along with plenty of drama, a lot of personal struggles, and dual POV (which I love). Ends on a cliff but I know author will make it worth my while to wait for next installment. I recommend this book and series to others looking for hot, sexy, and brooding alpha males along with the beautiful and feisty woman that entice them. I was graciously given an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

There is sexy and sassy Samara with her attitude and Cameron with his no-nonsense penchant for business and finance. One can only imagine what with happen when fire and ice collide. One big, giant tease. So many words are said but nothing is ever really told. What does Cameron want with Samara? What does he want her to do? And why is he so attracted to her but does not follow his desires? This book sucks you in and makes you wonder about every possibility that could happen to Samara. Is she aware of what he’s asking her to do? Or is she as much in the dark as we are while reading this. A really, really good and interesting book. I can’t wait to read the next book.

This is an exciting spin off from Remi and Esme's story. This is Cameron and Samara's story. The author once again brings strong characters, an intriguing storyline and a hot and steamy chemistry. It's well written, moves fluidly and is a great read. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Wow! A glimpse of what is to come
As a fan of NIGHT OF THE DIAMONDS series, Shayne Ford has given readers a glimpse of the new version of the old sex clubs owned by Remi, Dom and Cameron. Remi found the love of his life in the previous books as Esme became entangled with him and by default, his best friends and co-owners, Cameron and Dominique. (HINT: read the first 11 books so you are familiar with the characters and storyline). Samara Larsen has been dragged to this country from Norway by her mother. Will they be able to work together? Will they become work colleagues only? Will they both be able to keep to the boundaries each has set?
Guessing we will all have to read Book 13 when it comes out. A definite 5/5.

This is a contemporary romance by an excellent author. Book 12 in the Night of the Diamonds series. Cameron is supposed to take over the business previously managed by Remi and reinvent it. With that in mind, he needs a new star attraction and he is looking at Samara. Cameron met Samara at one of his favorite restaurants where she is a waitress. Samara is a strong character and so far I don't care for her. I love Cameron and look forward to Shayne changing my mind about Samara in the next book. Shayne always fills out her characters and oh the feelings she imparts with each individual character is just amazing. This book does end on a cliffhanger.

A sensual start to Cameron’s story.
Cameron’s story is finally here and it was a great start. This is a continuation in Night of the Diamonds series and you will see other characters from the beginning of the series. Cameron is now in charge of the business that was once headed by Remi. With a new vision for their sensual business, Cameron is looking for a head liner that will draw the crowd. When he meets Samara, he finds something so unexpected but will she say yes to him? Love the start of Cameron and Samara’s story, they sizzle and when their attraction draws them together that is when their story ends. But I’m not disappoint as these new characters pulls me into their story of sensuality that has me craving for more.

Not a book
The beginnings of a long and rambling plot that makes you question the point of continuing. Samara is mysterious to the point of being nothing. A small amount of childhood trauma would make her understandable. But she doesn't talk about her family even in her head. She doesn't think about the bad things she's done. She's just edgy for no reason. Cameron is slightly interesting but, the author focuses on her. This entire first book could have been two to three scenes in a real book. There is so much filler that will never be touched again. Just to be clear there is no dark and barely a romance. The writing is clunky and lacks focus. And wow, if this is book 12 then I'd hate to see book one.

Her series are just a delicious escape from day-to-day life!
Her series have held my interest! Kept me chomping at the bit for the next in the series, and Cameron is another fantastic addition to the list!
Seriously, I've said this before, but I can't not say it again, if you love serial romance, Ms. Ford is a definite must have on your list!

Cameron and Samara's story gets off to a seductively start and boy I can't wait to see where it all goes because the steam and tantalizing chemistry have me addicted. This is my volitional, forthright review.
