Rose Shaw has no idea what she wants. She put aside passion for practicality, earning her degree in a subject she likes, but doesn’t love. Same for her job as an junior architect. And don’t even get started on her personal life…been there, done that, got betrayed for her effort. So when sparks fly after meeting a renowned MLB player while on vacation, she takes him for what he is—a homerun in the sack, but nothing more. The next day, she sneaks back to Montana, leaving Bryson behind…but the memories of their night together refuse to disappear so easily.
Bryson Robinson knows exactly what he wants. His parents are a love-at-first-sight success story, so he recognizes what he felt with Rose Shaw during their night together could be the real deal. She has no interest in long-distance dating…so when the league’s best pitcher gets devastating news that could be the third strike for his career, he turns it into a win, going all in to get the girl. Starting with a home in Montana—and hiring Rose to design it.
Now he just has to convince her that not all men, including MLB superstars, are players…if she’s daring enough to take the risk.
Daring Enough is the fourth book in the Love in Montana series. It can be read as a stand alone, but for a better reading experience the author suggest reading the series in order.

Daring Enough is such a lovely read. I could not get enough of Rose and Bryson. Rose has walls up for a reason when it comes to what she loves in life and you just want to hug on her and push her to follow her heart. Bryson is amazing even as he faces his big life decision. He is a tad pushy but everything Rose did not know she needed. I love the banter and all the sparks that fly between Bryson and Rose. I love Bryson and his ways to win Roses heart and show her what love looks like. You are just going to love Bryson and Rose so much. They have fast become one of my favorite couples in the Love in Montana series.
**lust at first sight **One night stand **Western romance **Baseball player **small town **interconnected standalone
I ate this book up. I loved every bit. 4.55 Rating for me.
Rose Shaw has no idea what she wants. One night her friend invites her to an after party and she meets Bryson. They hit it off instantly, both wanting to be away from the crowd. The next morning, Rose leaves him on the rooftop without saying a word.
Bryson is sad she left. While playing and going through physical therapy, he needs to take some much needed rest time for his shoulder, he makes a plan to vacation in Montana "casually" running in Rose.
At first I wasn't sure how much I was into this book because I was distracted with other outside things but the more I read the more I fell in love with Bryson. He was willing to do anything and everything to gain Rose's heart. She was scared, like we all are after getting our hearts stomped on and made to believe we aren't enough. He's so patient with her. In a world of boys, he's a gentleman. 😉

Bryson is a MLB player, the best, and Rose is visiting her friend before she starts her job she’s not so sure she likes anymore. They meet at a party and connect on the fact that they’re not like other people. They have the best night but Rose is afraid of falling in love and getting her heart broken, so she leaves while he’s asleep. Bryson isn’t giving up that easy! Such a good book!
In the words of Chandler Bing, could this story be any more awesome?
With so much humour, a dirty talking baseball player and a hometown girl. Who finally finds the courage to go after what she wants. DARING ENOUGH was a story I could not put down. In fact, it was that good I read it in just a couple of hours.
And I adored everything about it. From all the different characters to Bryson taking dating advise from Rose's dad Ty. Which results in an awkward first date with not only Rose's parents but Bryson's too. This story just beautifully brought it all.
And as much as I love the Love in Montana series. I do think hands down this has been the best one yet. Just because of the journey Rose and Bryson go on and the laughter Rose's parents supplied. Whilst also always having her back.
And I would happily recommend this story and series to all and can't wait to read Lily's story next year and see who she ends up with.
My thanks to Kelly Elliott and Greys Promo for the opportunity to read an early copy of Daring Enough.
Rose and Bryson might just be soulmates. I mean, one night of conversation and…something else…and he’s ready to follow her anywhere. Even though she ghosted. But Bryson is determined. He knows who and what he wants. He just doesn’t know if he’s making all the right or wrong moves trying to get there. And honestly, his missteps are endearing. He’s not trying to be overbearing or bossy. He’s smitten. It’s really quite sweet and amusing to see how this all unfolds.
I love more than anything how Bryson supports Rose in her dreams. He helps her figure out what she truly wants. He stands by her side to support and cheer for her as she finds her way. And boy, does he love hard. She loves just as hard though, so they’re perfectly matched. And when their forever is found, I still want more. I have to wait for Lily and her time, but I really hope her story involves ditching someone who is proving to be petty and toxic for someone who seems utterly real and kind. I look forward to it all!
Ms. Elliott can pull me into any book she writes. Her storytelling and characters are a comfort read all their own. Bryson and Rose have an instant connection, but they take a little time to figure it all out. His heart is in the right place, and decisions are for the right reasons in his mind.
This book was hard to put down; I loved the characters, struggles, wins, and everything in between.
The romance was perfect.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
This book had everything I love. Sports, romance, cowboys, and Montana. Bryson and Rose were so fun to read. I love that we get to experience the second generation of this family so much. And I can’t wait for more!
Very cute read. The instant connection between Rose and Bryson was so evident, and I loved how he gave all he had to win her over. Amazing family dynamic and good spice. All in all, a really fun book. *I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
'A book I'm very honoured to have helped co-name which turned out ten times as brilliant than I ever expected. This is what I know and love about Kelly Elliott - The British Bibliophile

Daring Enough is the fourth book in Kelly Elliott's Love in Montana series, and one I've personally been wait for, for THE longest time as each book in this series--and others outside of it--all had their releases. It is a standalone read within this follow-up/spin-off series, so can re read out of sequence if desired.
Before this series was even a conceived thing, Kelly asked us in her reader group over on Facebook for potential words to go with 'enough' to form the title of each of these book titles for the follow-up/spin-off series. Each book would have 'enough' as the second word in the title, and it was up to us to suggest a potential first word. I put my suggestion into the metaphorical hat, not expecting or anticipating it to be chosen but the moment I saw her confirmed list, I quite literally jumped with joy. I suggested 'Daring' enough based on books two and three, 'Fearless' and 'Brave' Enough, and I'm still beaming with pride that Kelly chose my suggestion for Rose and Bryson's story.
We of course, are already somewhat familiar with Rose. She's made the occasional appearance in previous Love in Montana novels, but now is where her story--along with Bryson--will be told in all its dramatic, angsty, romantic glory.
Rose Shaw doesn't know what she wants. After putting in time and dedication into an area of her life for so long, doubts start to creep in when a job she has with a degree she likes, becomes something that she's not in love with it and more than anything, she wants to do something that she loves and can put her heart and soul into. Not just go to work, 9-5, carry out menial and monotonous work under people who put her down rather than lift her up. A fair and justified reason I think we can all proudly aspire to. As if having a less-than-ideal work life was bad enough, Rose's personal life matches it outside of the office. Again, extremely relatable. Imagine Rose's surprise at an unexpected moment in her life when she's seeking a bit of privacy and quiet, that she meets someone whom she has immediate sparks with. Sparks that lead to sheets and a one night homerun she has no plans of repeating. Which is why the very next day like a thief in the night she sneaks back to her home state of Montana, taking with her only the memories of a wonderful night with a wonderful man.
Fate--and Bryson--have other plans. Rose may want to live and forget, but someone else in the equation has other ideas.
Bryson Robinson is a man who's always known what he's wanted and what he's wanted to do in life. Upon seeing his parents live out their love-at-first-sight, true love story, he knows with every fibre of his being that's what he too also wants. Feeling things he's always wanted to feel during his night with Rose, he can see the possibility of a real deal relationship with her. It would be a possibility if she did long-distance relationships, but she doesn't. So...he does the next best thing. During an unprecedented and extremely painful injury which could threaten his pitching career which puts him temporarily off the field, he's going all-in to go get the girl of his dreams and hits a homerun right to Victor, Montana. Very close to Rose which may--or may not--have been intentional. You'll soon find out which one it is.
Its not just about turning up and hoping for the best, in this situation, Bryson has to tell, show and convince Rose that not all men--including men who are quite literal players--are out there to play and stomp all over her heart. That is, if she's daring enough to ask him and embrace what he has to give her.
Kelly delivers a story with Bryson and Rose that is the very definition and epitome of the strangers-to-lovers, he falls first and sworn off a relationship. And she does it with the purest essence of all that I know and love about her writing. After being a reader of hers now for just over a decade, I can see classic Kelly Elliott elements that made me fall head-over-pages in love with her writing as well as the positive growth and changes. The two have blended together seamlessly to give us an author--and story--that should be one of everyone's must read, go-to and favourites. I especially love stories where he falls first and has to win over the girl, and Kelly puts her spin on that brilliantly with what she puts them both through on the way to their happily ever after.
Bryson is everything I love about the sentimental, romantic, down-to-earth book boyfriend/leading male. He's not afraid to express his feelings, say what is on his mind and doesn't back down at the first hurdle. He fights for what he wants and is willing to take the punches if it means getting the prize his eyes--and heart--are set on. That said, he never pushes Rose to do anything he knows she really can't do. He's there to empower her and to guide her towards what she really wants to do, and seeing Rose's growth from unsure woman to a woman who knows what she wants--and isn't afraid to go for it, even if its potentially disappointing her parents--, was a pleasure to read. These two were written so well for each other as they were as individuals, I'm simply in love with them.
Thank you, Kelly, for yet another comforting, enjoyable and unforgettable read, and for including myself and others in your continued writing career. We love you beyond words.
WOW! Kelly Elliott has done it again! I absolutely loved Daring Enough the fourth book in her Love in Montana series! The Love in Montana series is a spinoff series of Meet Me in Montana series, which I LOVED! I can honestly say that Daring Enough is an incredible love at first sight love story, which filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, and it was impossible to put it down. I loved every moment on every page. Kelly Elliott continues to deliver incredibly written love stories that I LOVE to read, and she is one of my favorite authors to read. I love this incredible love at first sight love story, the Hamilton, Montana setting, and the amazing characters, they feel like family! Kelly Elliott definitely does not disappoint her readers with all the feels in Daring Enough and has once again delivered an amazing story filled with everything that I have come to love about and expect from her books. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, big loving families, and caring friends, who always support each other? I love how Kelly develops her characters in such a way that you fall in love with them and care about them much like a good friend. I love how Kelly Elliott always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. Kelly Elliott continues to deliver all that and so much more. Another favorite part of her book is how she incorporates the picture on the cover of the book and the title of the book into the love story. I am not sure how she continues writing my favorite books to read. I love that Kelly chooses dialogue that stays true to her characters. Daring Enough is filled with all the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and plot twists that I have come to love and expect in a Kelly Elliott love story. Kelly Elliott continues to prove that she is an incredible storyteller. I love that she writes her stories in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. Daring Enough is a love at first sight love story between Rose Shaw, a recent architecture college graduate working at Steiner Architectural Firm and Bryson Robinson, professional baseball pitcher for the Seattle Mariners. Rose heads to Seattle to visit her friend Loren, whose boyfriend, Nick, is a professional baseball player and Bryson’s roommate. Rose and Loren attend a baseball game, and then head to a victory after party, which is being held at Bryson’s penthouse. Bryson is immediately interested in Rose when he sees her in his kitchen. They end up talking, sharing secrets, and spending the night together, but Rose leaves the next morning without a goodbye and returns home. Bryson has been having some issues with this shoulder, and heads to Montana after being placed on the injured reserve list. After purchasing property, Bryson approaches Stiner Architectural Firm, to have Rose design a home for him. That did not go according to his plan. Conversation between Bryson and Georgiana flows so easily, I love the chemistry between them and the easy banter. As Rose and Bryson spend more time together with Rose designing his home, things change between them. I love how the Shaw family embraced Bryson; he always wanted a big family. I loved chapter sixteen; it had all the feels! I love all the changes that take place in Rose’s life with Bryson’s encouragement. I love the post-baseball changes Bryson makes in his life following his retirement to have a life with Rose. I love all the man crushes the Shaw men have for Bryson and the comments about how baseball players look in the uniforms. I love Bryon’s relationship with Rose’s Dad, Ty. My favorite part is Bryson’s proposal, and the location for the proposal. I love the ending of their love story and everything they accomplish before getting married. I love the epilogue and how it reveals which Shaw cousin is next to fall in love. Daring Enough was an amazing love at first sight love story; I am so glad that Rose and Bryson got the happily ever after. I loved all the surprises that filled the pages of this love story and I needed to have my Kleenex nearby on occasion. I love that all the Shaw men follow Blayze’s example with flirting. I love all the characters in this series, but I especially loved catching up with all the characters from the Meet Me in Montana series, it feels like a family reunion. I enjoy all the interactions among all the Shaw siblings and cousins, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. I love all the new babies! I love the descriptions of Hamilton, Montana. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I loved every moment. Cannot wait to read the next book in the series. Highly recommend this beautifully written love story.
She is a brilliant designer who is still trying to find her way into a career that gives her joy. He is the best pitcher in the major leagues but misses his home state of Montana. They meet by accident but neither one will ever forget the night they shared.
Rose Shaw, daughter of Ty and Kaylee Shaw, is a talented artist who is scared to create. Her degree from college was to direct her to a career in architecture but her internship, now job, is not what she wants to do forever. When Rose decides to visit a friend in Seattle, Rose is taken to a party where she meets the entire baseball team of the Seattle Mariners. Knowing this is not her scene, Rose decides to hide on a private balcony until her friend is ready to leave. What she didn't know is that someone is already hiding there.
Bryson Robinson loves baseball and it has been his whole life for the past fifteen years. This current season Bryson is the best pitcher in the league. But Bryson feels melancholy for something else. He knows he misses his family and home in Montana. The lifestyle of playing a professional sport is losing its allure. When his best friend and roommate decide to host an after game party, Bryson wants nothing to do with that whole mess. But when the most beautiful woman in the room, he previously saw downstairs, walks out on to his balcony hiding spot he wonders if it's fate.
Bryson and Rose share an incredible evening together. For weeks following, both find themselves missing the other. When Bryson learns that his shoulder pain is actually the career ending kind, he quickly makes some decisions that will hopefully be a grand gesture to win Rose.
Rose did not plan on quitting her job today but she was given little choice. Seeing Bryson again was a shock to her system. Knowing he is here in her town and is making plans to be here permanently, makes Rose flee in fear. Once she calms herself, she agrees to help Bryson with the building of his new home but as his friend. Rose is scared that she will fall for Bryson more than she already has. Bryson knows exactly what he wants and is willing to fight Rose herself to win her heart.
Dual POV, one night stand isn't enough, he falls first, no triggers (yay!) open door love scenes.
This one was so sweet. The chemistry between Bryson and Rose is charming and deeper than just a physical connection. Once Rose gets out of her own way, she can see that Bryson is perfect for her. I loved Bryson's character, he is book boyfriend material, no notes. I loved the way he interacts with the Shaw family, especially Rose's dad, Ty. Some petty drama near the end felt completely unnecessary but fortunately, didn't get blown out of proportion. These two were a delight to read. Sweet HEA. Epilogue is set up for the next cousin in the series.
Bonus: the Shaw family as secondary characters. (Please read the Shaw family series before reading this one to fully appreciate the cast of characters.)
Shannan – ☆☆☆☆ DARING ENOUGH is the fourth installment in the Love in Montana series. It can be read as a standalone it is a continuous series and reads better in the order that the author intended.
Rose Shaw is surrounded by couples and people in love. That’s all she ever wanted for herself – for someone to look at her like her dad looks at her mom. But she was so scared to open herself to someone else after getting cheated on by someone she loved and had her heart shattered. She was in a battle with herself, not knowing what she really wanted to do with her life or what her passion in life is. Meeting Bryson Robinson, an MLB pitcher who lived and played for the Seattle Mariners, Rose never saw coming. Rose and Bryson shared a night that neither will soon forget but Rose can't be with someone who she wouldn't see often, regardless how much she trusted and loved him.
Bryson Robinson is at the top of his game. He's the best in the league on the mound but he wants more in his life. He hasn't dated in over a year after being cheated on by someone who was more invested in his money than the man himself. When Bryson spends that night on the terrace with Rose, something inside of him changes and he knows what he wants in his life. But waking up alone and knowing Rose ran instead of saying goodbye. Bryson makes some big gestures that freak Rose out, but he refuses not to fight for her.
"Buckle up, Bryson. You're in for one hell of a bumpy ride. Hold on tight, and do not give up no matter how much she pushes you away."
I enjoyed the story but Rose, unlike other heroines in the series, seemed to go back and forth so much on her feelings it put me off. I really liked Bryson, and once Rose got her stuff together, I did like her more and the story seemed to flow better. And I always enjoy seeing past characters, especially the OGs to the Montana series, the parents. They are all some of the best characters in Kelly Elliott's worlds.
I can't wait to see where Lily's book goes, and I hope and pray it's Maverick and not Ben!!

4.25stars-DARING ENOUGH is the fourth instalment in Kelly Elliott’s contemporary, adult LOVE IN MONTANA erotic, romance series. This is MLB pitcher Bryson Robinson, and designer Rose Shaw’s story line. DARING ENOUGH can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Bryson and Rose) DARING ENOUGH follows the building relationship between our leading couple. Rose Shaw’s best friend Loren is dating Seattle Mariner’s baseball player Nick Rossi, and as such, while visiting Loren, Rose was invited to a post-game party where she would meet and spend one glorious night together with Mariner’s pitcher Bryson Robinson, a night in which she would ghost our story line hero. Bryson Robinson had fallen instantly in love with Rose Shaw but Rose had been burned in the past, and she would push away at every opportunity, hurting Bryson Robinson in the process. Having suffered a career ending injury, Bryson decided to move back home to Montana, to the same state in which Rose Shaw still lived. Buying land, and needing an architect and designer, Bryson went after our heroine, a move that would place Rose in the direct line of fire. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Bryson and Rose, and the potential fall-out as Rose continues to struggle with issues of trust, issues that would threaten when Bryson’s past returns.
The world building follows several paths including Rose’s struggle with a past betrayal. From heart break to professional suicide, Rose refused to open her heart to love, but most especially, to take a chance on a career move into something she wanted more. Bryson Robinson knew immediately Rose was the woman with whom he wanted to spend his life, and went about seducing not only her family but everyone involved.
The relationship between Bryson and Rose begins as a one night stand in which Bryson woke alone. Rose struggled with her attraction to a man she believed would destroy her heart, while Bryson battled between his career and the woman he knew he had to pursue. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, frenetic and lively secondary and supporting characters including most of Rose’s extended family, whose craziness and love of life was overwhelming and fun.
DARING ENOUGH is a story of family and friendships, betrayal and heart break, acceptance and love. The premise is captivating and heartwarming ; the characters are humorous, sassy, animated and honest; the romance is seductive and decadent.

This is the fourth book in this series. I haven’t read any of the others but after reading this they are on my TBR list. Rose is a little lost. She doesn’t know what she wants to do with her life, what her passion is. It seems everyone around her does. She has graduated and is working but something is missing. Bryson is the pitcher in the MLB. He loves baseball but he too feels like something is missing. Two meets while Rose is visiting her friend who happens to live with Bryson. The win their game and there is a party at Bryson’s house. The two have an immediate connection. This sparks something in Bryson and sends Rose running for the same reason. How can she date someone who lives so far from her and is always traveling. Plus she doesn’t feel like she knows who she is so how can she start something. Bryson gets some news of his own not long after that changes everything. Now he just has to show Rose that she is it for him. Get her to see how wonderful they can be together. Be ready for grand gestures, finding oneself, love, laughter, and family. This book was a wonderful read. Bryson and Rose and such a great couple. They have to find their way but when they do it is fantastic. The characters in this book are great and I can’t wait to read more about them. I look forward to the next book as well. Sometimes you have to find your other half to truly find yourself. Bryson is so confident in himself and in Rose that it is okay that she doesn’t know what she wants. He will be there for her while she figures it out. He will be there to support her and for her to vent to. He may not go about it in the best way sometimes but he always has her in the center of his thoughts. He has friends and her family that help him along the way. Rose has such a great and open relationship with her parents as well. I can’t wait to read about how all the couples find each other. Great job Kelly.
“With you by my side, I feel like I can do anything, and I’ve never felt that way before.”
This is the fourth book in the Love in Montana series and once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. I’m a sucker from small town romance.
Rose Shaw has no idea what she wants to do with her life and she’s also scared to open herself up after getting cheated on. But after sharing a night with Bryson and then leaving him the next morning, things starting feeling different especially with the memories of their night refusing to go away. Bryson is the best pitcher in the MLB, he has everything but the girl that ran from him. He knows their something special about them and he will do anything to fight for her including buying land for her to design a house for him. After finally agreeing to the design, the chemistry between them is off the charts and the more time they spend together the more they start to find what they want in life. But will Rose be daring enough to try with Bryson or will they lose their chance? They had great chemistry and tension from the beginning and I enjoyed how their connection grows throughout the book. But once Rose finally gave in they couldn’t stay away from each other. Theses two were definitely meant for each other. I loved how supportive they were of each other and how he never gave up even when nothing was going as he plan. I really enjoyed all the side characters especially Lily. Overall, this book was great and the characters were great and I loved the ending. I can’t wait to read Lily’s book.
I would recommend if you like: 💙Small Town 💙Second Chance 💙One Night Stand 💙Steamy Scenes 🔥
Kelly Elliott’s Wanted was one of the first ebooks I ever read, and it hooked me on her writing. I’ve been her fan for a decade now and don’t see that changing anytime soon. I adored her Meet Me in Montana series, and since I fell in love with the Shaw family in those books, there was no question as to whether or not I’d read this one. You don’t have to read the previous series to enjoy this story, but I wouldn’t be a true fan if I didn’t tell you how much you’d be missing out if you don’t. While this may technically be a standalone title within this series, there are enough crossover characters and backstories that you’ll enjoy all of the stories more if you read them in order.
If you love a cinnamon roll hero who falls first and isn’t afraid to fight for the girl, this book is for you. Bryson is the type of book hero you wish all sports heroes were. And while I liked Rose, her wishy-washy attitude toward Bryson sometimes annoyed me. Despite that, this story was my 2nd favorite of the series so far (Blayze’s will most likely remain my favorite!). With plenty of ups and downs for both main characters (sometimes together and sometimes separately) and a family you can’t help but continue to love in the Shaws, Daring Enough had me absorbed and invested from page one, and I didn’t want to put it down until it was all said and done. Kelly’s books never fail to feel like coming home for me, and this one was no different.
I loved everything about this book! The instant connection Bryson and Rose feel for each other, the steam they generate together, the support they have for one another, and their families. I was captivated from their initial meeting on the balcony of his condo and every encounter after that. While Bryson wasn’t perfect in his pursuit of Rose, he did everything from the heart. That and his dedication and support of her make him a perfect hero. Rose is smart and talented. She’s sassy and not afraid to speak her mind. I enjoyed watching her stand up for herself with her family and especially her boss.
Kelly Elliot has created an incredible world in Hamilton, MT. The town and quirky people in it, the gorgeous landscape of Montana, and the wonderful Shaws. I loved watching Ty, Rose’s father, come to terms with his daughter falling in love with someone. As much as I loved Ty’s story, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. :) I am invested in the Shaw family, the cousins, and friends. I loved the epilogue with Lily and I can’t wait for her story. I can’t wait for all of their stories. I love reading everything Ms. Elliott writes. Her characters and stories show time and time again how magnificent she is at her craft. This book can be read as a standalone, but if you read one, you’ll want to read them all! I received an arc of this book from Grey’s Promotions and Give Me Books, and this is my honest review.
5 Star Review Daring Enough (Love in Montana #4) by Kelly Elliott
I always enjoy my visits to Montana and Daring Enough was a wonderful addition to the Love In Montana series. This is Rose Shaw and Bryson Robinson’s story and I was quickly captivated by the story that Ms. Elliott wove.
Well written, with engaging characters who are easy to relate too and a story line that had me hooked from the first chapter to the last. Ms. Elliott’s writing is so descriptive, I can easily visualise Montana whilst reading.
Rose it at a crossroads, not satisfied with how her life is going when she meets Bryson and the sparks fly. Bryson knows immediately that she is “the one” but as Rose is not interested on a long distance relationship she doesn’t see it going any further.
However, after what could be a career ending injury, Bryson decides to hire Rose to design his home in Montana. The chemistry sizzled between them and it was fun watching their relationship develop. Can he convince Rose that she should take a chance with him? Or are the walls she has built to high?
I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was such a romantic book, and I just loved it so much. This is Rose's story and she is pretty mixed up at the start of this book. She feels very lost within her family. Her parents are Ty and Kaylee and one thing I really loved about this book was we get LOTS of TY time.
She meets Bryson and he lives in Seattle, and she wants to live on the ranch in Montana so she feels they can only have a one-night stand. But Bryson falls so hard for her that he is willing to move mountains to be with her. As I said super romantic.
I loved and adored how Ty treats Bryson. The family dinner was so awesome. I giggled the whole time. This book was just so much fun. I actually loved that Rose was a bit mixed up and that Bryson told her that was okay. I also loved how much belief he had in her skills.
This book did have a bit of insta love/connection/lust but that was something I really loved in this story. The next book is about Lily and I cannot wait. This whole series has been absolutely awesome. Don't miss out, you will love Rose's story.
Rose is everyone still trying to find their way and discover their happy place and Bryson is a man who knew he wanted nothing more than to be in Rose’s orbit the minute he met her. The night they spent together in Seattle was unlike anything either of them had ever experienced in their lives but obstacles stood in their way. Bryson knew what they were and knew why they were in place but that didn’t stop him from slowly breaking down those obstacles and proving to Rose that they are better together than apart.
Bryson fell hard and fast for Rose and he knew that she was everything he ever wanted and needed out of life-she was home to him. Rose was so scare to even entertain the idea of a future with Bryson but she didn’t want to get her heart broken but her hurt had other plans, it just needed her brain to catch up. I love how supportive Bryson was with Rose and how their connection was full of butterflies but also peaceful and deep.
Loving this series and I think I need a vacation to Montana real soon! I’m excited for Lily’s story next coming out in February 2024!
Thank you @authorkellyelliot and @greyspromo for this eARC in exchange for my honest feedback.
Rose is at a crossroads in her life with questions about her career, and she's been betrayed in her love life so she's not only confused but has trust issues as well. Life takes a turn when she has a sexy night with a MLB player while on vacation, but more than that, they had a connection. Those trust issues of hers have her ghosting him before he wakes up though, and as far as she's concerned, that's all she wrote, except she could never get him out of her head. Bryson is our beloved baseball player who will do anything to make Rose his but she's not interested in anything long distance. Things take a turn for him when he gets injured which throws him for a loop, but now he's going to get back on track while pursuing Rose, and man I loved him hard. I'm not saying I didn't love Rose as well, however, he was just so sweet with a sexy kicker of sexy, and he chased her while never giving up. On top of all this goodness, there's a supporting cast who brought humor to the table to keep me laughing throughout, which is always a bonus in an already great story. You don't want to sleep on Daring Enough as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
"Another 5 Star read from Kelly Elliott, I love heading back to Montana, Daring Enough gives us Rose Shaw and Bryson Robinson.
You’ll be captivated from page one, Rose, she not quite sure where he life is headed after her recent heartbreak but is completely sure Bryson isn’t it. Bryson is at the top of his game, number 1 pitcher in the MLB, but he knows his time on the mound may be cut short.
With lots of humor, a dirty talking hero and the family sweetheart made for a very entertaining read. I can’t wait to get my hands on Lily’s story, please let it be anyone but Ben!" ~Stephanie
Daring Enough is the fourth book in Kelly Elliott's Love in Montana series and is the first book by this author that I have read. I loved reading and following Rose and Bryson's love at first sight romance. Meeting by chance in Seattle, Rose visting her best friend and Bryson just finishing a baseball game, feeling an instant connection between them. She runs and he follows doing what he can to prove what they have is real. I enjoyed this book a lot and look forward to reading more from this author. ~Dawn
Rose is at a stand still in her life not satisfied with how life is going for herself and wanting to get that spark back in her life she meets a guy named Bryson and sparks were instant. Bryson instantly realized that Rose was the one for him, but Rose isn’t interested in dating long distance. So, Bryson comes up with the idea to hire Rose to feng shui his home in Montana. When things started to come together and they were able to start their love story and following a long with them on there roller coaster of happy, laughing, swooning moments and more. Seeing Rose come out of her shell that she had been in for so long and hided in a confidence that I didn’t know they had. I can’t wait to see who’s next in the series.
I absolutely devoured this book! Bryson and Rose are perfection! I instantly fell in love with them. I mean yeah we’ve met Rose before. But we haven’t met Bryson and then put the two together and it’s a match made in heaven! I loved getting to know about Rose and learning how she is struggling with what she wants to do in her life. And Bryson is unknowingly dealing with a career ending issue when he meets Rose and risks everything to go after her. How romantic! I laughed out loud at so many parts with Rose and her family. It was so fun witnessing family game night when they all meet Bryson. But there were plenty of serious and heartwarming parts of the book where Rose is so worried about what other people think based on past criticism. Until Bryson helps her to realize that those people’s opinions don’t matter. Kelly Elliott has done it again in this book. Very rarely is the fourth book in the series the best one for me but as is the case with many Kelly Elliott books, she just continues to surprise and deliver amazing stories! ~Alexis💜
This is the fourth installment of the series and could be read as a standalone but reading the series in order certainly adds to the story.
Rose and Bryson have an instant connection that both scares and excites them all at the same time. Rose is struggling to let her passion shine, her insecurities seem to be blocking what could be a wonderful career doing the things she loves. Bryson is coming to terms with knowing his injury might very well be the end of his baseball career, but would that be the worst thing if it means he can return home and win the girl of his dreams.
Ms Elliott brings us a wonderful love at first sight, soul mates story that once Rose gives in, is sweet and beautiful. Add in all the crazy that is the Shaw family and friends and there is never a dull moment. It's always like a warm hug when we visit Hamilton Montana and it's wonderful scenery. With that epilogue, I am super excited for Lily's story next.

Rose and Bryson’s story absolutely tops as one of my very favorite books written by Kelly Elliott. Rose is a woman that isn’t really sure about what she wants to do in her life even though she started down a path that she doesn’t seem to be able to pull back from. Little did she know that the night she met and spent with Bryson Robinson would change her life in ways she never expected.
Bryson is literally at the top of his game as the best pitcher in the MLB, but things change for him the night he meets Rose. Not only because it’s the best night he’s ever had, but also because, his injury forces him to take time off and what better place to do that than in Rose’s hometown… insert snarky smile and laugh!
I loved the connection between these two. It was palpable. They could be themselves with each other. This is one of the things Bryson loved so much about Rose. She was her authentic self the night they met, hot pink sneakers and all! When Bryson decides to do whatever it takes to get Rose to give him a chance, kind of backfires on him a little bit. But I had faith that it would lead to some revelations for Rose and their future.
This story moves at a pretty quick pace and is filled with moments of hot and steamy sexy times, truly laugh out loud moments when the Shaw family gets together and when you add in how both Rose and Bryson change as their love grows, even if Rose was scared she’d get hurt, this book is everything I love about Ms. Elliott’s writing. I love being in Montana with this the Shaw’s and I can’t wait to see what happens in Lily’s book!
