Determined to turn her festive frown upside down, she plans a super winter getaway for her nearest and dearest: ski cabin in Vermont, the best Christmas tree the world has ever seen and more bottles of champagne than is possibly legal to transport across state lines.
But nothing goes to plan and before she knows it, Jenny’s awesome super funtimes Christmas has turned into a dry, dull couples’ retreat. But this is Jenny Lopez. She’s going to have the best Christmas known to man and she’s not prepared to accept anything less, even if it means snowshoe-ing to the nearest store and dragging a turkey three miles in the snow. Even if it means chopping up her beloved Christmas tree to start a fire. Even if it means standing up a hot, wealthy doctor (a doctor, people!) to make sure everyone gets the holiday they deserve.
With her best friends, Angela and Erin, by her side Jenny Lopez is determined to save Christmas. Whether it likes it or not.

Een heel dun boekje over kerstmis uit het oogpunt van Jenny. Toch geeft het weinig toegevoegde waarde omdat Jenny af en toe precies lijkt op Angela in de andere boeken.
Lindsey Kelk is a must around Christmas, that’s why I was really excited to hear about this short story and we are back with the lovely and adorable characters from the I Heart series.
If you have read The I Heart series you know Angela pretty well and of course her best friend Jenny. This time it’s Jenny’s turn to tell the story. Jenny is the best friend a girl could wish for and she is determined to make Christmas really special for her friends Angela and Erin. Angela is not in the festive mood at all, because her husband Alex is on turn with his band and he won’t make it for Christmas.
In Erin’s ski cabin she prepares everything, but them the power is gone, the food is not delivered and the tree is way too big! Can Jenny still save Christmas?! It was awesome to join Jenny in all this drama and fun! She is such a bubbly and amazing character and Lindsey’s funny and unique writing adds an extra spark to the whole story. When a man comes to her rescue everything gets more interesting of course. Mason is not her type at all, but… And since this other guy only answered her text with a THX she can move forward right?!
This story is witty, chaotic, bubbly, sweet and just adorable. The friendship goes over everything else and I LOVED LOVED LOVED the surprise Jenny had for Angela in the end!!!
This is the perfect funny feel good book. It gets you into the christmas mood immediately and the scenes are just so full of detail and glimmer. The brilliant writing makes you feel part of the story, never wanting to leave it again.
Another cute holiday story from the 'I Heart' series. Seems a bit weird to release two different Christmas stories one after the other, especially if you're like me and you read one directly after another. I was a bit confused at first but then realised the book is set a year after the previous Christmas book. Don't have much to say other than I enjoyed it. Something short and sweet and light and fluffy. Definitely a good one. Now time to get back to the main series, only two more books to go...I'm definitely gonna be sad when the series is over.
It was fine, I kind of enjoyed it, but at the same time it also annoyed me. I did fly through it though, but mainly because it was short. It was however nice learning more about Jenny’s love life.
Review: I literally couldn't wait for this fabulous novella to come out, I love jenny Lopez, I love Christmas and I love everything written by Lindsey Kelk so you can see why I would be so excited. This novella is a little different because this is written from Jenny's point of view and we don't normally heard from jenny in the first person that is probably because Angela is usually the star of the Show and so it is more about her but this is all about Jenny and she really doesn't hold back on any subject.
This novella has just the right amount of festive cheer versus festive humbug and so it will appeal to all of you out there in that sense, whether you are a love or a hater of all this Christmas. There are dilemmas that jenny has to face, things she has to overcome and men she has to try and date. There is also a massive helping of New York city which is awesome and we get to see a bit of Angela, Erin, Sadie and a few other recurring characters.
You will definitely find yourself racing through this book because it is just such a fun read, everything is really pacey and yet it has the right amount of substance for a full novel, considering the fact that it really is a short story. The opening and the ending are fabulous and fans of Lindsey Kelk will be able to hear her usual voice and comedic charm as much through this novella as through her full length novels. This book could totally be read as a standalone although it would give you a couple of spoilers for the I Heart Series. If this is your first Kelk read you won't be disappointed and if you're a fan of Ms Kelk and Ms Lopez, you'll be in your element with this read!
This is a short, but sweet, must read for any fan of the I Heart books... However, if you don't know the series, I probably would pass on it as half the enjoyment would be straight out the window. It's funny (as you'd expect from this author), it's full of everything you'd expect from a Christmas book - log fires, snow, decorations, trees, turkey, friends and family... With a cheeky wee snog under the mistletoe. I think all of the characters from the series make an appearance or are mentioned at some point and it's basically just a lovely little festive catch up with the gang.
As always Lindsey Kelk has provided us with a fast flowing, witty, dramatic, and uber chaotic story. As soon as you start you are thrown right in to it and it does not let you go until the end. When the end comes though, you are furious that it's finished. You just want more fun, more friendship, more sexy Santa dresses, more crushes, more dick pictures, naughtiness and snow. But most of all more Jenny Lopez.
Who doesn't love a little standalone about the one and only Ms Lopez. Sassy, beautiful and fierce she is brilliant.
This small ebook sees Jenny trying to cheer Angie up for Xmas as Alex is away on tour, while trying to cheer herself up with a new date. When Erin offers their holiday home to the ladies for Christmas, the adventure is hilarious. First the food doesn't turn up, then jenny breaks down, then a 10 foot tree is left on the doorstep and finally she kick asses Mason and then kisses him!! Pure Jenny
Another 5 star albeit too short e story from Lindsey Kelk
I know it's not Christmas yet...and I KNOW it's not even winter yet...BUT I couldn't resist it! 😭 This is probably the only series in the entire wide world that I would consider rereading (at least so far). I love Angela, I love Jenny, I love Alex, I love everybody in the "I heart" universe so... blatantly...I couldn't wait till Christmas to read this one! It was wonderful seeing the world through Jenny's eyes for a change and I was easily hooked! What an action packed mini adventure!
Another instalment in the I Heart series. Again I loved it - now reading from Jenny's view, even though I did miss Angela's. It was great to understand Jenny and see another side to her which we don't normally get to see in the series.
I really didn't want this novella to finish - I can't wait for another instalment in the I Heart series.
I love Lindsey Kelk books and Jenny Lopez is one of my favourite characters. She’s sassy and doesn’t give a crap but she’s the type of person you’d want as a best friend. This is just a short little book but full of fun. I wish there was a full length Jenny Lopez book……come on Lindsey give us a full Jenny book…..please
The best laid plans, need I say more? This was hilarious, as Jenny has Christmas organised the fates seem to be working against her or are they as during this very chaotic time she takes down the man of her dreams, literally. A great story worth five stars even if it was novella length.
I read this book a long time ago, but I had forgotten some of it, so I decided to reread it to fill in the gaps in my memory. Jenny Lopez is chaotic and the coolest and most chic friend of Angie Clark, and this time she did not disappoint me. I was happy when Alex appeared at the end of the book, thanks to Jenny's help. It was a funny Christmas read.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Usually I'm not one who complains about the length of a book but damn! This was way too short!!! Don't get me wrong - I love reading from out Jenny's point of view, and the story was funny and all, I just needed much much more!
I realize that Lindsey Kelk and I have differing views on what is funny. Her character Jenny, who is supposed to have a high powered job, and live in NYC, comes off as low level intelligent, afraid of everything. I found her unlikable, man hungry, and ridiculous.
I have always loved Lindsey Kelk ❤️❤️ her books always make me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside ❤️❤️ and this book was so much fun it made me laugh i absolutely loved it
