Aleatha has done it again! Talk about being captivated with every page. I don't think I could turn the pages fast enough to see what Damien was up to. He and Ella have a history and when fate decides they need to revisit that history be prepared to go on a ride. From new business adventures, drama, and a love story this book covers it all! I can't wait to see what's in store for Damien and Ella.

Every single time I read a book from Aleath Romig, it's like a sucker punch of everything all at once.
Intrigue, passion, spicy hotness, and those intense feelings that leave you wanting more.
That is exactly what I am currently feeling right now after finishing. Remembering Passion. Damien and Gabriella are FIRE, and this book is definitely everything all at once.
I will be anticipating the day Rekindling Desire arrives.

There was a plot somewhere there which wasn’t dominant due to the intense sexual encounters between the mcs.
I liked neither Gabriella nor Damien.
Her backbone was lacking and she gave in to her carnal desires and pleasure.
Damien tired me because most of the times his mind was on sex.
I didn’t feel any emotions between the mcs, only lust.
Damien was in love with Gabriella and ready to propose when she broke up with him.
If she was the woman of his life, why did he wait for two years as to reconnect with her and try to win her back?

Remembering Passion was absolutely captivating from beginning to end. It has everything I look for in a romance.
Damien is charming, sexy and definitely an alpha – successful and dominant. At some point in the story he’s the kind of man you love to hate. I like how Gabriella became her own woman. She made some sacrifices in the past to become this smart and confidently beautiful person of today. These two have history and when they met again, the undeniable attraction was still there. No wonder Damien will do everything to win her back. Will he succeed?
Once again, Aleatha Romig never disappoints her readers. This story moved rapidly and I couldn’t put the book down! I enjoyed the characters and the storyline. With that kind of cliffhanger, I’m anxious to read the next in the series – Rekindling Desire.

ARC Review
Reading Ella and Damian’s story was such a treat, I love the rare occasion when the guy is more invested than the woman, it shows that men do love with their entire being.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a CEO who falls in love with his assistant.
I think I enjoyed the end of this book more than the build up to it because it genuinely left you with such a cliffhanger resulting in you wanting to read the next book as soon as possible.

The end but I already need MORE!!! Expected that ending, just needed to know what her cliffhanger was gonna be. I love every male Aleatha has given us. The females are feisty as ever. But their connection in the office and in the bedroom is so intense. I can’t wait for Rekindling Desire!!!

Two years ago Gabriella left Damien. Not because they weren’t good together but because she did feel like her own person. A chance encounter at the airport brings him barreling back into her life. In typical Damien style, he gets what he wants. But can Ella keep her identity this time?
Aleatha Romig is great at creating characters you worry for and root for. I can’t wait to see what more is in store for this couple.

This book is the first part of the Sinclair Duet.
The sparks really fly between Damien and Gabriella, and better still they have history! Damien is an overwhelmingly charismatic, intensely driven man. Gabriella is a beautiful, successful woman who has made her mark, but when it comes to her old flame she fears losing her identity. After a chance encounter Damien is resolved to fight for her.
The real enjoyment is seeing how he does that and Gabriella's reaction and her emergence as a really strong woman.
As I said, the sparks fly between these two, and I mean fanning yourself, page-sizzling fly and I have a feeling that the flames will burn even higher in the conclusion.

Remembering Passion by Aleatha Romig is book one in her new Sinclair Duet. The prequel novella Falling Again is the first seven chapters of this book, so don’t worry if you didn’t read this. A steamy second chance, workplace, billionaire romance about Damien Sinclair and Gabriella ‘Ella’ Crystal. It is fast paced, full of suspense and intrigue as these two reconnect.

Damien is the domineering and demanding CEO of Sinclair Pharmaceuticals, and Ella used to work for him as his executive assistant. Her mistake was falling for him and his mistake was letting her go.
Two years later she is shocked to find she is sitting next to him on her flight to LA and then learns he is also sitting at her table at a gala she has organised. Will this unexpected coincidence cause her to fall again for this handsome man. The chemistry between them is still there, bubbling beneath the surface so it doesn't take much for the spark to ignite again. Damien doesn’t help matters by being so charming and reminding her of how good they were together. She can’t resist him and agrees one night together after the gala.
He’s not giving up on her and needs to persuade her to give him another chance. He’s always loved her and is determined to win her back for good this time. He knows it’s going to be a fight so he comes up with an ingenious plan. Some of his actions are dubious but it leads to some funny banter between them. She wants to keep it all professional but he is positive they could multitask!! He has such an ability at getting under her skin and is so intense and manipulative that she questions his motives. The job offer is a great opportunity for her but she worries she is being forced into it and he’ll hurt her again. He is still very overwhelming and she wants to keep visible and not disappear like last time.
While the couple battle with each other the passion between them sets the pages alight.It was nice seeing Van and Julia from the Sin Series and how they supported Elle in her new job. There are some interesting twists and turns for Damien and his company, plus some family drama, secrets and an ongoing feud with his step brother Darius. The author also adds in some betrayal, deceitfulness and blackmail for good measure, then ends it all on a shocking cliffhanger. I hope Elle doesn’t regret her decisions and I can’t wait too see what she has in store for them in Rekindling Desire.

Weak-willed FMC
Gabriella broke up with her CEO boss two years ago to make a life on her own because she felt unappreciated and overshadowed. A chance encounter on a plane ride sees the two former lovers seated next to each other, and her ex decides to capitalize on the fact that her company would love an investment from him to trap her into temporarily working for him.
My primary issue with this book was that the FMC lacks a backbone. This can’t be the same woman who left originally. I was expecting at least a bit of fire from her because she initially describes the MMC as a devil she was glad to be rid of. She claims on several occasions she’s worried she’ll miss the signs that she’s letting him overtake her life, and has little sassy one-liners for every outrageous demand the MMC makes, but still does any and everything he tells her to. She threatens to report him when he blackmails her, but chooses to keep their past relationship a secret from her boss, who somehow cannot see what is right in front of her. He has her old office packed out and a replacement found for her, signifying for all intents and purposes that she’s not returning there. He calls constantly and thinks of sexual punishments when she doesn’t pick up. He packs a bag to a cold place without a coat for her and demands she show up to his room in only the coat as payment. He comes off as annoying and predatory, given he is holding her job over her head while demanding sexual favors. Their relationship is shallow and based on sex, he tells her what to do and she does it after internally scoffing. No chemistry, every step forward is directly a result of him forcing it. She falls in line because she is trapped in a peen dream. His high handed behavior would be easier to swallow if she just stood up for herself at least once instead of allowing him to trample all over her. She has sad moments of self reflection every once in a while when he sends his driver to do his bidding, but ultimately chooses to ignore every time he does something callous. I kept reading with the hope that something would happen to snap her out of her peen dream. It was a slap in the face to have her accept a TEMPORARY marriage proposal as a way to help him keep his company. The next book is meant to be him convincing her to stay married after saying it would be temporary, but there’s just no thrill of “will they, won’t they”. They will, since now he no longer has to pretend to not be pawing at her all the time and she cannot string two sentences together when in lust.

I knew when I read the end of the prequel novella, Falling Again, I absolutely needed more, more, more of Damien Sinclair in my life! I was right, and now I have him in Remembering Passion. You do not need to have read Falling Again before reading Remembering Passion because it is included here as the first 7 Chapters.
As those of us who read Aleatha Romig's books have come to expect, Remembering Passion brings all the twisted, suspenseful, steamy ecstasy we love from characters that are multi-dimensional and totally captivating. Things are never quite as they appear. The action is non-stop from beginning to end.
Fate has thrown Gabriella back into the path of sexy, powerful Damien. Damien, who let her go once, has regretted it ever since. He's not going to let her get away from him again. Now working together, Gabrielle's heart realizes that she. really still cares for Damion. She lost her own identity with him before but she has found herself since they parted ways. But she worries she will turn into who she was before.
As Gabrielle gets more engrossed into the merger, she has some digging to do and uncovers some secrets. Along with Damon's full disclosure, they work to make things right. And all the walls come down.

Welp, I enjoyed this one despite the second-chance romance trope (one of my least favourite tropes btw). Hell, I fell for Damien Sinclair. Maybe it's just the timing because I'm unsure if I would enjoy this one at another time. I think I just enjoy the writing, it was an easy read for me, when others couldn't even hold my attention.
Also, I'm very curious about their first three years together. I can't be the only one who wants to see little snippets of those times, right?

I found this story very intriguing. Damien and Ella held me in a very fierce grip as their story begins to unfold. Rich emotion, tantalizing twists, juicy drama, lush heat, and epic feels captivate and will have you consumed with turning those pages. This is book one of two, so hang on for the cliffy! As for myself, I'm anxiously anticipating reading the next book just as soon as I can.

Segsi and smart are the two word I would identified Aleatha's books. And Damien and Gabriel have them abundant!
Fast pace, 300 or so pages goes in a breeze for me.
The first part of the book I had to do a double take because that first part felt light, segsi with their chemistry over the top hot, Damien's dirty mouth and feels more contemporary than Aleatha's usually dark-y books.
But then, we get to the intrigues. Sinclair family feud. Company issues. This is more Aleatha I know plus all the more details segsi scenes.
I love this first book.
Excited for the next instalment cause Gabriel and Damien? Hotdang!
Fast pace, 300 or so pages goes in a breeze for me.
The first part of the book I had to do a double take because that first part felt light, segsi with their chemistry over the top hot, Damien's dirty mouth and feels more contemporary than Aleatha's usually dark-y books.
But then, we get to the intrigues. Sinclair family feud. Company issues. This is more Aleatha I know plus all the more details segsi scenes.
I love this first book.
Excited for the next instalment cause Gabriel and Damien? Hotdang!

I'm going to start with the ending. This author loves to write a cliffhanger! I thought I knew how this one was going to end but NOPE! She threw in a twist!!
Now the story.
I an a sucker for a second chance and loved watching there love rekindle.
But the intrigue of this pharmaceutical world had my attention for sure. And a visit from couple from another book made me smile.
The passion, the feelings between these two was HOT!! and undeniable.
I have been Aleatha'd again and cannot wait for the next book!

Whew! This is a fast paced, whirlwind of a book. You're kind of thrown right into the relationship when Gabriella sees her former something across the way. Damien is a force and one that is hot and all alpha-y.
When Damien comes up with his plan, he knows that he has to do things different this time. Relationships need nurturing, just like his business.
Gabriella promised that she would not fall for him again. But, when he offers an incredible opportunity, she can't help but be intrigued.
With people who are trying to usurp Damien out of the company, he has to figure out who he can trust and who is after him. When he sees Gabriella again, he can't help but feel that fate has stepped in.
These two fall again, but this time, they know that there are higher stakes. Can these two figure out their own way while trying to figure out who's trying to block their happiness?

Remembering Passion: Sinclair Duet by Aleatha Romig. Gabriella is flying to LA for her job when she comes across Damien Sinclair. She left him two years ago. She never stopped loving him. The relationship was so intense that she lost herself. That is why she left him. Now stuck in an airplane for a 4 hour ride, the old feelings are resurfacing. Damien can't believe his luck. He has never stopped loving Gabriella. This is his chance to get her back, and he is determined to do whatever it takes. The chemistry between them is undeniable. The sex was never the problem. Damien is certainly a force of nature. I can see why Gabriella left him. Damien overwhelmed me just reading about his ways. In spite of Damien's overbearing tendencies, he truly does love Gabriella. Gabriella just needs assurance that she will not lose herself in him. I wasn't sure where the author was going with this story, but by the time I got to the end! Let's just say, I am so looking forward to the next book. Yes!!!! I need to know where their story will go from here. 4 stars for me. I do have to say I was happy for the crossover of Donavan and Julia. If you haven't read their story, you really need to. The Sin Series, you will not be disappointed.

Aleatha is my go to author when I want to get my mind blown. Once again, she delivered everything I expected and more. The complete read was a whirlwind. Damien and Gabriella drew me in from the first page and I completely lost myself in there story. There chemistry is off the charts and they feel the pull when they meet again. It's not just attraction, the passion they feel for each other and there love makes you crave more of them. The mystery kept me even more involved and I am curious to know what's to come next. Thanks to Aleatha and Wildfire Marketing for the advanced copy of this intruiging read.

OMG Aleatha has done it agin with another masterpiece ❤️ I absolutely love this story. The sexy Damien is unapologetic cocky arrogant slightly underhanded in the business world but always Ella to see the side of him that makes him vulnerable. Ella is smart enough to know her own mind and that Damien is her weakness but she’s a strong woman who isn’t afraid to tell Damien what she thinks about him when so many man wouldn’t dare too. Remembering Passion does not disappoint! It’s written in the grand fashion of Aleathea’s style. Damien and Ella dated for three years. Ella broke it off. They meet again two years later in an airport. Things start to rekindle.between them. Damien is fighting to remain the CEO of Sinclair Pharmaceuticals. He has five months left of his probation period but there’s an addendum that will bypass it. Will Ella help him with the addendum? I love Damien and Ella.

The satisfaction I feel as I realise that Aleatha Romig has written another duet 😍😍😍. Remembering Passion reunites Damien Sinclair with his former lover, Gabrielle Crystal, bringing a reigntion of deep passion. Damien is so determined, sometimes scarily so, while Ella finds herself irresistibly drawn back to this man who both excites her and activates self-preservation signals. Their heat is combustible!
There were times when I wanted to poke Damien in the chest and tell him to back off, while also reaching for a fan!! Ella needs all her strength here so she isn't overwhelmed by his sheer magnetism!
With new ventures to conquer, these two need to bring their considerable resources to bear, particularly when there is a weasel in the building!! 💖💖💖💖💖

Damn, Aleatha'd again. Ella and Damien's story sucked me in and then there were no more pages 😢.
