After a 15 hour reading marathon I just finished "An Introduction to Christian Theology" by Wiley.

It was very readable for a 70 year old text. He didn't overly simplify his text (I was googling at times) but didn't overcomplicate it either.

I disagreed with him at points but that is to be expected: unity in diversity.

This was the main text for my Intro to Theology in Seminary. We also read The Doctrinal Distinctive of Asbury Theological Seminary, Knowing God, Mere Christianity, and "Fundamentalism" and the Word of God.

While this is a good book, the three-volume work is better!
