The heroine:Bella - she lost her father when she was seventeen in an accident and her mother a few years later. She was an only child, and her parents were both foster kids, so she had no extended family or grandparents either. She had her best friend, but sometimes got lonely for family. She worked as executive assistant to the owner of the company, Trent “Diablo” Dillon. Everyone at the company called him Diablo behind his back because he was always grumpy, and he liked things done right.
The Hero:Trent - he had devoted himself to his work over the last few years. He had been in a relationship before that, but he was no stranger to heartbreak, so hadn’t dated anyone steadily since then. So when he gets invitations to three family weddings over the next few months, he decides he has to do something drastic to keep his interfering family from setting him up with everyone and their sister.
The story: When Bella suggests to Trent that he get an escort to go to the destination weddings with him. He immediately turns that idea down. He doesn’t want a professional but bringing someone who knows him but won’t get any romantic ideas sounds like a good plan. So, he suggests Bella accompany him. He offers to pay her a nice lump sum which she could use for her student loans and living in Los Angeles is not cheap. Though they didn’t consider the attraction they had for each other. Keeping things unemotional wasn’t going to be as easy as they thought.
I liked both characters quite a bit. Trent did not really like hanging around with his family for some reason, but Bella loved it since she was all alone in the world and his outgoing and gregarious relatives really included her as part of the family from the start. I also loved the fact that things got super steamy their first night together and they both tried to back off and keep things professional despite the fact that they couldn’t think of anything besides each other.
This audiobook was told in two points of view via duet narration and was narrated by Christian Black and Samantha Brentmoor. Christian Black has a nice deep voice, and he sounded age appropriate for Trent who is in his early 40’s. Though you can definitely tell he is reading. He has this tempo where he kind of pauses at the end of each sentence that doesn’t always sound natural. Samantha Brentmoor has a great voice and I like that she has a completely different voice for Bella’s best friend. Though her man voice wasn’t my favorite, it was low, but a bit sinister sounding.
Ok I almost ditched this book so many times because Trent was an absolute bi polar Dr. Jekyll/ Mr. Hyde, who treat everyone and I do mean everyone like absolute garbage. He really acted like a true narcissist and was verbally and emotionally abusive to everyone. I didn’t really think we saw them build any sort of connection other than physical because everything else was him being a wishy washy jerk. How she fell in love with him I don’t understand. And then finally at 85% he decided he wants her and should be nice after his brother locked them in the wine cellar together. Like if they hadn’t done that he wasn’t even gonna try. He wanted to be this strong dude but he was really weak in every aspect. This book also took the misconception trope to an absolute absurd level.
Seriously, reading this stressed me out and made me feel like I’d been traumatized by Trent. And Bella, weak. She didn’t make him grovel at all. Immediately forgave 2 seconds after they were in the cellar. He was cruel consistently throughout the entire relationship, professional and personal. Booo Trent. He is not book boyfriend material at all. And I’ve never ever said that about any MMC. He didn’t do anything to redeem himself, not any effort just decided he would stop being a dck and expected everyone to fall in line.
No character arc, no growth, no relationship building just spicy time, no grovel, no grand gesture, everyone was Trent’s verbal and emotional punching bag all the way to 85% of the book. Weak FMC.
Honestly did not like him, felt he was so nasty to everyone, and even when reasons got worked out he never really did anything redeeming, everyone just forgave him, after that I kind of skimmed the book
And her best friend being like you're pregnant? Right move out this month then. And it was never touched on again, like why did her friend do that? Was she ever really a friend? I felt that story was over looked.

Trent is seriously broken and Bella keeps trying to help him see how good things could be. He hurts her badly with his words and actions and he has to work to make it up to her. Really like Trent's family, particular Megan.

I really enjoyed this story. It was a quick read I was able to finish it in a day. It had a great plot, and flowed very easily. It was a quick storyline, but it didn’t feel rushed either. I really enjoyed the characters. Bella and Trent were written very well. I enjoyed the connection they had. I always love a surprise pregnancy story, and this one was no different. I enjoyed seeing how the two characters who were from different worlds were able to come together, not without obstacles of course. This story also has some very great spice in it as well. I definitely would recommend this story to anyone wanting a happily ever after.

Decent, quick read. Typical grumpy boss who harbors feelings for his hot assistant. I wish Trent understood Bella's love for his family and need for that kind of connection given her past. She told him so many times that she's alone after loosing her family, but the horrible things he said to her broke my heart. He hated his family over a misunderstanding of "don't believe" vs "couldn't believe" - really!? Aside for that, decent read. Spice is good.
This book was absolute trash. Trent was a complete jerk the whole time. The whole my family didn't believe me about my girlfriend cheating crap was so stupid and made him look like a complete idiot when he resolved it with his family. The main characters shouldn't be together and definitely should not be having a baby.

Tropes: Fake Relationship, Surprise Pregnancy, Boss Romance, Grumpy x Sunshine, Miscommunication, HEA
TW: Death of Parent
Main Characters: Bella & Trent
"Trent was known around the office as Diablo— a fitting name for the devil he resembled when he was in a bad mood. As his executive assistant, I’d learned to hide my emotions. What kind of emotions? Well, the frustration that I had with him for being a behind sometimes, for starters. And, if I was being totally honest, the physical attraction I’d felt since I walked into his office the very first time. He was, after all, a gift from the gods. An Adonis among us mere mortals. Physically, at least. Even on the days he was a total jackass to his employees."
- Bella
Bella and Trents story was definitely an emotional one for me. With so much that had impacted Bella as she became a woman and adult it's hard not to feel something. Dealing with grief is such a hard thing to get through. Losing family, anyone close to you or anyone you care about is such a hard path to be on.
“Pain gets better eventually, right?”
“I don’t think it gets better,” Trent said softly. “You just get used to it."
Bella has such a huge heart and she thrives when she is around Trents family. They have shown her what she has always dreamed about. It's hard not to feel the wanting of something you don't have when it's right in front of your face. I enjoyed how much she was willing to stand up for herself throughout the book. She was such a strong woman who wasn't willing to back down just because Trent was being a whole behind. She should be put up for a major award for the things she had to deal with from him throughout the whole book.
Trent, boy oh boy. This man is a real piece of work. He takes Grumpy to a whole new level. He isn't grumpy. He is a miserable man who can't see two feet in front of his face because she refuses to see what's in front of him. He is sin in a suit, Diablo if you had to be around him. It took a bit too much to bring him out of his shell. I almost want to ask him if he is a Cancer in astrology. He is so closed off to guard himself even though he has such big emotions. And he is wayyy in his head overthinking EVERYTHING. Not just that but he is a master at miscommunication. I abhor miscommunication within a book the way this was laid out. Sometimes having a little could go a long way. This just took that trope to a whole new level. He was too much in his head to realize what was going on in front of him.
There were several scenes that I was getting through thinking SERIOUSLY?? I don't think some or most of these scenes that I said that about would even come close to being a real life situation. If it was it wouldn't have turned out with the HEA that they had.
I received a complimentary copy via the author and Booksprout. All opinions are my own, honest and voluntary.
Trent is the CEO of Dillon Tech and he is known as diablo by his employees because he is so grumpy. Trent had been in a relationship with Waverly until two years ago when he found out that she was cheating on him. The betrayal crushed his heart so he swore he would never get involved with anyone ever again. Trent thinks his executive assistant is gorgeous but he doesn’t want to go there. Bella has been the executive assistant for Trent for two years and he has always been a grump. Bella has learned how to deal with Trent. Bella has thoughts occasionally about being with Trent. Trent gets his third wedding invitation for the summer. Three of his family members are getting married and he is expected to be there. Trent’s mom Joni has a habit of trying to line him up with women. Trent decides he wants Bella to go with him to the weddings and he will pay her three hundred thousand dollars to act like his girlfriend. Bella really could use the money so she tells Trent that she would go as long as they follow the rules. No sex, no emotions and no real relationship. Trent gave Bella his black charge card so she can get clothes to wear. The first wedding is in Las Vegas where Patrick and Jessica are going to get married. Patrick is Trent’s cousin. Bella gets along great with Trent’s family. Trent and Bella end up in his hotel room where they have sex. The next day they both agree it was a mistake and it shouldn’t happen again. When they get back home they both want to be together and they end up having sex a lot. The second wedding is in Colorado where Anya and Kevin are getting married. By the time they go to Colorado Bella has discovered that she is pregnant. Bella has no family to talk to so she ends up talking to Megan who will marry Grant Trent’s brother. Nobody knows that Trent and Bella are in a fake relationship. Bella tells Megan that she is pregnant and she is afraid to tell Trent. Bella finally tells Trent that she is pregnant and it goes better than she thought. Trent gets irritated with Bella about something stupid and she breaks up with him. The third wedding is in Napa Valley and Trent is miserable and missing Bella. Megan asked Bella to be a bridesmaid so she is at the wedding. The two of them end up in the cellar getting wine and they are locked in until they resolve their issues. Will Trent finally tell Bella that he loves her? Will Bella tell Trent that she loves him? Will the weddings go as planned? Will Trent and Bella decide to stay together? Will Trent and Bella find love and happiness because of three weddings and a baby? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Finding Love In The Least Expected Way - The deal between Trent and Bella was meant to be three wedding of a fake platonic relationship, but their attraction led them to engage in mind blowing pleasures that neither one of them could forget. Even though their insecurities caused them to take a step back, their strong connection pulled them back towards each other and they revised the terms of their initial agreement.
Unfortunately, just as their agreement went into force, Bella discovered their lives were about to change. However, just after Bella told Trent about her news, an argument caused by a misunderstanding caused Bella to walk away from their relationship. Luckily, Trent’s family intervened before it was too late, which made him realise his true feelings for Bella and that he had to do everything within his power to get her back.
It definitely took some convincing, but Trent was able to not only get them back on track, but also finally get the happily ever after he didn’t know he always wanted. This was a totally riveting story, that had me glued to the pages and unable to take a break until I finished reading the book. I am sure you will love reading this book, just as much as I did.

Readable enemies-to-lovers story. I loved the way the story starts with seriously grumpy businessman, Trent, realising he is lusting after his EA, Bella. Trent has fought against his growing desires for the two years lovely Bella has worked for him, not wanting to compromise the working relationship he has with his highly efficient EA. I liked the way the story develops when Trent needs a ‘buffer’ against his interfering family at three upcoming weddings; predictably, he decides Bella will make an ideal ‘fake’ girlfriend! The story is enjoyable, although I did find Trent’s vacillating feelings and thoughtless actions a bit annoying on occasions, especially as it comes close to destroying kind and lovely Bella who is a really likeable character. The unplanned pregnancy adds an interesting frisson to the tale as even the reader is left unsure about how Trent will react to impending fatherhood. A good read with plenty of steam and a desirable HEA.
Loved Bella and Trent.Felt like knocking sense into Trent quite a few times. Trent has three family weddings to go to this summer and needs a fake girlfriend as his plus one. Bella has worked as Trent's EA for two years. They are both attracted to each other, but have kept their feelings hidden. Trent asks Bella to be his fake girlfriend and pays her for it. When they end up in close proximity they give into their attraction.Bella ends up pregnant. Their fake relationship turns real, but Bella doesn't know how Trent will react when he finds out about the baby. They have their ups and downs.Trent has been through heartbreak before and it is difficult to break through his walls. There are tears, laughter, family meddling and support, lots of steam, friendships, surprise pregnancy, angst, romance and a happily ever after.

Trent may be the worst boss ever but Bella, his EA for 2 yrs., has figured out all of his quirks & stays one step ahead of him, keeping the peace in the office. When he gives Bella an offer she can’t refuse, she accompanies him at his families’ weddings. She falls deeper in love with him while he’s hot & cold towards her. So many mixed messages, she finally calls it off with him & tries to move on. He’s got the ‘hot & bothered’ over Bella but he’s got cold feet when it comes to a commitment.
With all that is going on between them, can he be the boyfriend she’s looking for? Break-ups are hard when love is wrapped around their hearts. Making up is a whole lot more fun for them. Leave it to his brother & fiancée to knock some sense into these 2 lovebirds.
Great story to read even with Trent being the most annoying guy around!

How come a 40 years old being this melodramatic? Unbelievable.
He has been mad to his family for 2 years because they commented on his ex?! OMG HOW CHILDISH CAN YOU BE?! Which, surprise surprise it's only a miscommunication. His family just can't believe his ex can manipulate them so bad, NOT TRY TO TAKE HIS EX'S SIDE! For full 2 years he hated his family, despite 38 year of his life his family is nothing but supportive towards him. His parent not abusive at all, always available to him emotionally and physically, he grew up rich and full of privileges, what else do you want?!
He is so dead on not being somebody's expectation he did all the opposite what people expected, despite that is a idiotic things to do. I know you proud of yourself but seriously, pride and stupid is different.
NOPE! JUST NOPE! I really wished Bella open her eyes in the end and run out with other men. SAVE YOURSELF BELLA! NOOOOOOO.
This book is absolutely fantastic and will definitely have you totally engrossed from the beginning until the end and maybe wanting to scream at Trent through your kindle a few times lol. Trent is a grumpy billionaire and ceo who has been hurt before and doesn't want to much to do with his family ,but when 3 weddings in his family come up he has to find a date for them and decides to ask Bella his EA but will she go for his proposal? Bella loves her job and does it well . Will they finally let their feelings out for each other or will he hurt hers in the end? Great story and absolutely love the characters and storyline. It has all the right feels and more in this book.its a fast read and very enjoying story.

I have enjoyed reading Trent and Bella's story, it had ups and downs, friendships, family issues/drama, romance, connection, chemistry and had plenty of emotions running throughout. Trent's past dictated his relationships, his thoughts, reasonings and his actions. It made him not a nice person at times, but as always there is more than one side to a story. He was almost childlike at times, but I think that's his inner child dealing with his hurt and pain, I enjoyed seeing him face his past, grow as a person and start to heal. There were lots of relationships in this, some good and some not so good, they were integral to the story and helped it move along. I liked that I wasn't quite sure how this story would go and I enjoyed going on the journey they took.

I received a free copy of the steamy L.A.-centered romance Three Weddings and a Baby: Faux Love Billionaire Series: Book Two by Crystal Monroe and this review was given freely.
A recipe for disaster or love? It starts with an instant attraction, three family weddings, and setting aside a few rules.
Easy flowing with realistic characters, a fair amount of drama, and some steamy scenes with a heartwarming and happy ending.
Alone by fate meets alone by design in this office place romance featuring the eternally angry Trent Dillion and his efficient and personable executive assistant Bella Williams, who sneaks past his emotional reserve to reunite her boss with his family while finding true friendship and a loving family of her own.
I loved Bella and Trent’s story. Trent is jaded from a previous relationship and he’s closed off to anyone and everyone, even his family. With that said he’s has three weddings to attend and no way will he go alone and get badgered by them. Bella and Trent are attracted to each other but crossing the line could be dangerous and when he has a proposition for her it’s hard to pass it up. I liked the sweetness Trent showed Bella and she could see he’s a good man, but there is always something that brings up all those bad feelings again and he pushes her away. He’s torn between what he’s feeling and his past. Not everyone is a Waverly and he just needs to see it before it’s too late. Great read. I really enjoy this author. I found this book on BookSprout.
I so enjoyed this book, the grump changes his outlook and finds the love of his life. Trent is the oldest in his family, yet he has distanced himself. Now being stuck with three weddings in the family he needs a way to keep his meddling family off his back. Bella tolerates her Bosses attitude, but could she pretend to like him enough to sell his family on a relationship. With a chance to get out of debt she will try.
I love Trents family, joking and down to earth. Bella is light hearted and bright next to Trents sore disposition until he finally sees how wrong his outlook has been. I'm going to look for the books about Trents siblings and cousin and how they found their loves.

Three Weddings and a Baby is the second book in the Faux Love Billionaires series. I enjoyed this sweet, smart, sexy, and likeable book about Bella and Trent. He is her boss but things are going to change and it is all on an agreement they make. He needs a date for several family weddings he decides that Bella will fit the bill as his fake girlfriend and he is willing to pay for her time. But soon things go off the rails as Bella fits in with his family and he starts to fall for her, along with her seeing other sides besides his grumpy office self. Real life is about to happen for these two before their agreement is finished.....or will they start a new agreement with a lifetime of fringe benefits?
There were a few things that made this book (mostly) readable. and some that were super exasperating. It's naive to believe someone who is supremely self-centric in their outlook will ever change. A bosshole in work gonna be a jackhole in relationships. One of the things I personally abhor about this a*hole boss to lovers trope is the realism it's an unhealthy fantasy that they'll reform. That said, it's satisfying that the misunderstandings were not dragged throughout the entire pregnancy. Personally I prefer a wedding before a baby but you do you boo. Overall the guy was narcissistic and the writing was mid.
This book is quite witty and steamy. Bella and Trent are the MCs and are very likeable and realistic. Trent was hurt in a past relationship while Bella tried to work with her grumpy boss. They had an arrangement for her to be his pretend girlfriend for 3 weddings that he needed to attend. Soon their physical attraction took over and they fell in love. There were many misunderstandings and hurt feelings. Finally they get their HEA. I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Heartbreak can cause one to lose logical thinking and Trent went deep down that rabbit hole.
Bella had her work cut out for her from the very start in the form of formidable Diablo, at one time I actually thought that was his name. But she finds out that when times are tough maybe some friends were not meant for the long haul journey and thankful the universe had thrown a better friend in her direction.
Loved it.

Oh man…this one just didn’t do it for me. It had some good points, but they just weren’t enough to change my mind. The storyline has been used too frequently; the characters were bland overall; the plot was really boring; and the HEA was the only redeeming factor. It’s not a bad book…it just didn’t work for me. I encourage you to grab a copy and see for yourself! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and found it to be less than what I expected, but still a pretty decent read!) 😊
Bella and Trent’s story has her working for him but he asks her to help him by attending some family functions so he don’t have to put up with being alone, in return she gets the help she needs. He is closed off from his prior relationship and he tries to keep her away but their feeling start to show them what they can be and have together.

An office romance must read! Bella and Trent’s relationship went further than the office when he gives her a proposal that will take it further than they imagined. What happens next was a steamy and fun romance read that didn’t disappoint. I can see where the conflict was that Trent goes through and his fight to finally see what was in front of him. This was only my first read by the author and I’m a fan.
Bella is a sweetheart. She is strong, independent, sweet and capable. Trent over reacts, a lot, but is sweet in his own way. I love this set up with the three wedding deal. I love their chemistry and their seeming synergy. Their story has heat and heart and emotion. The story is very well crafted and executed.
