We don’t have any of the books covering these new enemies, so the storyline came a bit out of nowhere.

These stories are a lot of fun, and well-written. In the first story Laval and friends save the Gorillas from the Ice Hunter Tribes. Next Flinx is kidnapped by the ice guys and Laval and Cragger lead the rescue effort. More adventure this time as Cragger is caught by the ice hunters and Laval and his new lioness friend use the power of the fire chi to bring him home. Finally, a speedorz tournament is the start of a battle between Laval and Skylor. Each story is separate but the overall arc is the quest to achieve fire chi.
