Tchotchke Goes Quackers

Rate this book
This is BOOK 2 in the 3-part series about Tchotchke, a bunny, and the family who adopts him. Children always like to adopt an animal as a pet but taking care of an animal isn't always easy and being a parent and the pet is just as hard as we found out in this first of three books about Tchotchke, a pet bunny. In book 2, Tchotchke is a bunny in search of a new home and a new life. At a nearby pond, he befriends a duck and believes this could be his new home. Will he fit in? Children learn in this book that you should be comfortable being who you are and not trying to something you aren't. Note this and the other 2 books can be purchased separately. The book is also available as part of a compilation with all three stories published in both soft and hard cover.

About the author

Dennis Stephan Stuempfle is a retired businessman who was born and raised in Philadelphia PA and lived most of his life in Southern NJ. He's an Air Force veteran living along the southern coast of North Carolina. He has a Master's degree from Fox School of Business at Temple University and a BS in Management from Rutgers University. Prior to retiring, he was the owner of a career planning and recruiting firm. He has been a substitute teacher and a volunteer in schools, partly because he loved how young the children made him feel and partly because he liked being a part of the mad houses commonly known as "elementary and middle school". He's a grandfather who loves his 4 beautiful grandchildren who drive him just as crazy as his students did. Under the pseudo name, Dennis Stephan, he wrote a dystopian novel "Acts of Sedition" that is available on Amazon.com. The Tchotchke Series is his first set of children's books. He's currently working on a collection of poetry.
