Ginna sold her first novel in 1983, after winning the Golden Heart Award, given by Romance Writers of America for the best unpublished novel in a category. She has been working as a full-time writer ever since. When she finishes her current contracts, Ginna will have written 33 books. She has also given many lectures and writing workshops, and judged in writing contests.

A native Texan, Ginna lived in Houston all her life — until 1993, when she and her husband Brad built their "dream home" and moved to the mountains of Colorado. Ginna also enjoys other creative activities such as oil painting, sewing, sketching, knitting, and needlepoint. "But my first love will always be writing. It is simply part of who I am."

Consigliato

Campy, cheesy, and slightly sappy romance/mystery that reminded me of the gothic romances I used to devour when I was a teenager. An extra star for the great book cover . . .

Alright. Somebody needs to poke me in the forehead if I don't stop reading this genre. Not only was there more cheese-o-rama, but (spoiler alert!) there wasn't even a real ghost! There was a total Scooby Doo ending - complete with the equivalents of Thelma & Daphne trapped in a cave - exclaiming: 'Look! It's Mr. Smith, the old guy who runs the amusement park! (OK, it was actually Bill, the carpenter, but still) using a hologram machine!' Someone slap the next one out of my hands. Please.

I love Ginna Gray and think she’s an amazing writer! But this book wasn’t as amazing as others she has written. The suspense is very good although I figured out the source of problems early on. The romance was a little lacking. I found the heroine to be rather cold.
Overall a great read!

Good idea, but the writing let it down a bit. It's also slightly dated with fax machines and the like.

Pale Moon Rising is about a "haunted" mansion being reconstructed by Joe and Olivia. Former spouses who have previously lost a child, they have spent years apart and have grown into more mature adults. As they find themselves drawn together for this project they are bombarded with family issues, sabotage, and a budding romance. It was somewhat interesting yet I thought it was somewhat wordy or awkward.

This was a quick one-day read. Love story/mystery with a bit of "gee I hope they get back together" mentality. A good read for anyone wanting something to read while awaiting MD appointment ... or enjoy with a glass of wine! This is a "no brainer" just want to relax type of read. Enjoy!

While I've only read an advance proof copy (which I found at a book sale) I enjoyed this story cheesy romance and all. I know people have compared the ghost portion of this to a scooby-do movie but if you've ever visited savannah you'll realize how important their ghost are to them.
