Shadow Chasing Shadow
Maya hails from the enchanting Pink City, Jaipur. However, due to her job in an IT company located in Gurugram, she finds herself in the position of having to shift to Gurugram and live in a paying guest accommodation.
In this new company, Maya encounters Rahul Rana, her team leader, and senior. From the very first day of her training, Rahul is captivated by Maya's presence and finds himself falling in love with her. However, Rahul's world comes crashing down when Maya said that she has already a boyfriend.
Varun, being a good friend, explained to Rahul, “Dude, you're still naive when it comes to girls. When a girl says, 'I have a boyfriend' without even being asked, it means she doesn't want anyone to take advantage of her or get too close to her. It doesn't necessarily mean she actually has a boyfriend. She just wanted to create distance from everyone. That's all."
Despite the challenges, things seemed to be improving for Rahul and Maya. But everything took a tragic turn during their tour to Kasol, where Rahul was accompanied by his closest friends, Ravi, Aditya, and Varun. The group enjoyed indulging in substances like weed, vodka, beer, and liquor.

Huge respect and great appreciation to the author Mohan Bachhety for writing such a masterpiece of a book. Through the discussion of the story line, in the book were many surprises waiting page after page which made it super exciting. I personally don't like it as it destroys the author's effort of trying to weave a story and giving spoilers is never a great experience for me. However, “Shadow Chasing Shadow” by Mohan Bachhety is a captivating story that takes readers on a journey through the life of Maya, a young career woman from the vibrant city of Jaipur, pink city. Due to her job in an IT company based in Gurugram, she shifted herself to Gurugram. In this new company, Maya encounters Rahul Rana, her team leader and senior. From the very first day of his training, Rahul is charmed by Maya's presence and finds himself falling in love with her. In this 213-page novel, Author skillfully weaves together elements of mystery, romance, and self-discovery to create an engaging and thought-provoking narrative.
Author's writing style is both descriptive and evocative, painting vivid pictures of Jaipur's bustling streets and colorful culture. The author's attention to detail allows readers to immerse themselves in the setting, making it feel like they are right there alongside Maya as she navigates through the twists and turns of her journey. Shadow Chasing Shadow by Mohan Bachhety is a captivating story of Maya. Maya is a young career woman from the city of Jaipur. Her job takes her to a new city Gurugram where she finds herself working under Rahul. Rahul is smitten by her and makes advances which are rejected by Maya. Rahul’s friend Varun comes to his rescue and Rahul thinks he may have a chance with Maya. But all these changes when Rahul’s trip to Kasol with his friends goes horribly wrong. The group must face some challenging questions about that trip and it changes their life. Maya decides to go to the bottom of this mystery and starts chasing the shadow of this mysterious and tragic incident. What will she find at the end of her chase? Who was responsible for the mishap that happened on their trip to Kasol? Will Maya be able to unravel the mystery? How the truth will affect her life? To know the answers, you will have to read this captivating story which will keep you guessing till the very end. The author has created a universe of relatable characters who are not perfect and the readers will be able to experience the characters’’ emotions easily. The storytelling and the final reveal are promising. Overall, a well-written book which I will recommend to all those who like good stories with a promising element of mystery.

So first all im trying hard not to give spoilers, its very hard for me to control my excitement tbh
So it was my first read from the author, but I really impressed by his work, the way he plays with characters and plot, i just loved it! You have done great work @mohanbachhety
The story just held me hard from starting to the end! I have to say that this book has some magical powers, this book is like a roller coaster ride for me A
The plot kept me on the edge of my seat, with plenty of twists and turns that I never saw coming. The characters were well-developed and likable, and I found myself rooting for them throughout the book.
The pacing was just right, with enough action and suspense to keep me engaged from beginning to end.
As I said before The writing style was just so fantastic, with vivid descriptions and a great sense of atmosphere.
Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good thriller with a touch of romance

Rahul is smitten by her and makes advances which are rejected by Maya. Rahul’s friend Varun comes to his rescue and Rahul thinks he may have a chance with Maya. But all these changes when Rahul’s trip to Kasol with his friends goes horribly wrong.
Reading this book was not that easy as it talks about lot of thing. But the author must be appreciated for writing this so appropriately. The narration was perfect. Writing style of the author is good. The book had a flow which it didn't lost till the end. It has the power to give us a chill.
The twist and turns in this book are crazy. The most positive parts being its fast pace and the book being a quick read.
The book held a good suspense till the last, with the suspects dwindling and finally when it zeroed down, no one could predict the final outcome or motive! There's thrill, suspense and utter stunning Overall, it is a quite interesting read.

A story full of suspense..a trip to Kasol!
Everything was going perfectly fine , Rahul,Ravi,Varun and Aditya were enjoying and giving them the break from there corporate lifes.
Then what happened all of a sudden that they have to rush back to Delhi?
Shadow chasing Shadow , a suspense thriller written by mohan bachhety will keep you hooked until you find out who the person is playing the roles from behind.
A tale full of thrill with romance giving it a joyful experience to all the readers!
