My intentions were Fix the house. Get paid. Leave.
Then I see Tiara Miller- My purest obsession and newest client.
After I find out she's my asshole brothers’ ex-girlfriend,
She becomes a challenge I’m all too eager to meet.
My intentions Charm her. Conquer her. Claim her.
When I agreed to take on the old fixer-upper in town I didn’t realize I volunteered for working behind closed doors with the hottest chick I’ve ever seen.
Tiara is the dangerously sexy new homeowner who exudes innocence and mystery.
My raw impulses tell me I need to protect her.
Even if that means protecting her from my own blood…
"Tangled in the web of tantalizing taboo, will their hearts risk it all for love."
Tangled Intentions is a red-hot, small-town standalone romance. It is NOT a love triangle.
While this is a quick read, age difference romance, I didn't really connect with Tiara or the story very well. For me, there wasn't a great deal of character development with her unlike Cameron. The impression I got was that this was more his story than hers. Tiara is in her 20s, but I felt she needed to grow up a bit more, be independent, think things through. Cameron is 40 by the way.
She bought a house in dire need of repairs, in secret, from her boyfriend who was just caught cheating. She moves into this house b/c she has no where else she can go and is low on funds. She should have stayed in her car or maybe sell the car to make ends meet? But she ends up in an accident in the house, with only one person who she can call and turn to for help. Cameron. Who is still a stranger at this point. He does offer her a room at his place.🚩🚩🚩 Okay then.
Does Tiara really love Cameron for him or the stability he provides and gives? I liked him. He's a great guy. But Tiara and Mason, Cameron's estranged brother and her ex-boyfriend, not so much.
