Typical KK's book with the insta-lust that turned into love with a touch of suspense.
Axel and Amalia met at a bar; they had ONS, and then he saw the list of her ideal man. He was bored with his company and current projects, so he took a photo of them and took it as a challenge to meet Amalia's standard. It was more like a challenge for the sake of saying he ticked the items and sort of passed her test. But in his head, he also thinks she would be able to find a flaw in him and would kick him to the curb the moment it happened.
Anyway, like I said, it was insta something, and within one week of being together, Axe realized he wants Amalia and that she's it for him. How he came to this realization, I'll never know.
But of course, the truth about why he seems to be too good to be true eventually came out. Amalia got pissed and felt lied to. I thought she would hold her ground, like maybe even for a day to think things through, but nah, none of that happened. She was annoyed, but the BBS crap won out, so there's that. 🤷♀️
Anyway, there is some drama caused by Amalia's ex, but the Valentinos helped out with that.
Overall, this was okay, short, and fast-paced. If you're not a fan of insta-love then this isn't for you. But if you want a fast-burn and OTT H, maybe you'd like this.

What a great little read! I loved how fast paced this book was! Once I picked it up properly I read it in 2 days and truly enjoyed it! The love/lust at first sight thing threw me off a bit because I am used to reading enemies to lovers but the relationship between Axel and Amalia was beautiful! He loved her so much, would do anything for her, and treated her like an absolutely queen!

Review: Axe was such a smooth talker he could take the pants off any girl 😍❤️ I love how attracted he was to Amalia by just one glance at her. Amalia’s list!!! Damn girl that’s dream guy right there and Axe finding it and trying to tick of everything was 😮💨 A one night stand turned out to be more. The more time these two spent together really progressed their relationship and soon they were head over heels in love with each other. POSSESSIVE Axe was 😮💨 he didn’t like anyone staring at his girl and turned into a caveman. Enter Amalia’s creepy and ex and bam 💥 I love the way these two handled her ex and worked out their relationship after Amalia found out that the truth that Axe was hiding from her.

Zane Hart has been so focused in his work that he has not had time for much else since he moved to Seattle to launch his project. Out with a night with his friends he sees a stunning beauty, Amalia. They share one night together and Zane is hooked. He doesn't want a relationship, he is not that type of guy but when he sees Amalia's list of criteria for the man of her dreams he decides to cross some of those expectations off her list without telling her figuring she will figure out that his faults are not worth it and in the mean time he gets to have her by his side. All that changes though when he begins to fall for Amalia, she is everything he could want in a girlfriend but what she finds out not all he has said is true?
Enjoyable book. I liked the chemistry and at the beginning you want to flag Zane down with warning signs saying bad idea. Amalia is a strong woman who was hurt before and doesn't want to make the same mistake again, I think her expectations are extremely high but at the same time she is guarding herself from hurt. Always enjoy the books by this author guaranteed entertainment.

Fuckably hot!
Another good book with characters from other stories. They got along well and were fun together. It wasn’t just a romance; it also had danger and suspense.

I honestly don't understand how this book has such a high rating.
I picked it up knowing that there were only about 200 pages, and thanks to the blurb, I also knew what the would have to overcome.
While reading, I was feeling good about it, like I was ready to rate it 3⭐️.
Then the author decided to do make the book a mystery with a psycho ex, one we barely knew how he was called.
At around 50 pages from the end, Amalia and Axe have a big blowout because of what he did, or rather, had very strong words where she's basically a doormat and he lays all the blame on her, when he's the one who screwed up. And 50 pages where a good number to work on their issues, but the author, out of nowhere adds this investigation, so now they barely talk about their issues, which are resolved in a paragraph, and spend all their time on a plot point that was never introduced.
A ridiculous choice that ruined a perfectly acceptable book. I have no idea why someone would try to sabotage their own book.

Her List is a great addition to Kylie Kent's world and I loved that this is Axel Williamson's story. He's the youngest/last of Alyssa and Zak's kids to find love.
Axel has made his own fortune in his own way. He went out and started something he was passionate about. It has taken him away from his home in Australia and landed him in Seattle. He's doing things his way and living his life the way he wants. It involves him working a lot, but he's ok with that.
Amalia has a bad track record of relationships and with her last one being the worst she might be a bit reserved about finding someone new. She is smart and clever and found out what she wanted for herself and made it happen.
They had chemistry and were a lot of fun together. It was more than a romance though, with some danger and suspense.
Plus you get some of the other Williamson family and Valentinos and that is always good in my book.
I look forward to Axel's friends falling too. I think this Seattle Soul Mates is going to be a great series.

A list of everything she would like the perfect man to be. Her friends say she's too picky but she thinks she's being safe and smart. When her latest date doesn't even get close to ticking anything off her list her friends meet her at a bar to talk it out.
Axe is working hard on his latest development project and it's something he's incredibly passionate about. He knows he'll lose money on it but the end outcome is what he's focusing on. When his two best friends insist he join them for a drink he heads out to meet them. They both start in on him and how much he works. They challenge him to have some fun tonight by pointing out a girl he should take home, one look at her and he's in.
When the handsome man at the bar starts talking to her Amalia is knocked off balance. He's got swagger and he's sexy enough for her to lose her mind. When he promises her one night of naked fun and her friends encourage her she decides to go for it.
'Holy shit, this guy is my catnip.'
Axe can't think of a time he's wanted a woman like he wants this one and he finds himself holding his breath for her answer. It was supposed to be one night but he doesn't think that could be enough and when he finds her list the next morning he decides he definitely wants more. He's determined to take her list and smash every item on it and enjoy her while he can. He figures he won't have to worry about her falling in love with him because women like her will always find a flaw. In the meantime, he gets to enjoy all the good parts of being with her and then he'll be able to walk away when she decides he's not good enough.
'The thing about me is... I thrive on a good challenge. If someone tells me I can't do something, I'm likely to do it just to prove them wrong.'
Amalia isn't sure what to make of Axe. She thought it was supposed to be one night, but he's flipped the script and is doing everything he can to see her again. On top of that in just that one night and morning together she realized he's checked off some of the items on her list. There is no way that someone like Axe hasn't got heartbreak written all over him, but she's willing to go along for the ride for now.
'It's scary. I'm not supposed to let myself like someone this much. The list was supposed to help me not fall into whatever this is. But every encounter I have with Axe just proves how perfect he really is...
The only problem is that Axe is finding himself falling and he's got no idea what to do with that, but he knows one thing, he's not going to let her go.

This was a pretty lighthearted book. There was a little suspense at the end but overall it was light and low angst. It was a quick read with a fast paced romance.
This book tied into several of Kylie Kent’s other series. There were cameos from the Williamson’s, who were Axel’s family, as well as the Valentino’s who were linked to Axel by marriage. There were also several new characters introduced, friends and family of Amalia and Axel’s Seattle best friends.
Axel and Amalia meet at a bar and have a one night stand. But before Axel can kick Amalia out of his apartment the next morning he finds her list of qualities of the perfect man. He decides he’s going to check every item off the list and prove to her that she still will find a flaw or reason to run from him. What he didn’t anticipate was him falling for her.
It was a steamy, billionaire romance between Amalia and Axel and it was funny to see Axel realize his feelings for Amalia and try to fix the mistake he made. Both Amalia and Axel had some growing up to do with regard to a relationship, and it seemed like they grew together. They ended up being perfect for each other and their HEA was well worth it.

What a great little read! 🤩 I absolutely loved how fast-paced this book was. Once I got into it, I devoured it in just two days and enjoyed every minute! 🏃♀️💨
The love-at-first-sight trope threw me off at first since I usually lean toward enemies-to-lovers stories, but OMG, the relationship between Axel and Amalia? 😍 So beautiful! Axel’s love for her was pure, unconditional, and he treated her like an absolute QUEEN 👑💖.

Although this book wasn’t bad, I felt like it lacked depth.

- what started as a one night stand soon became a challenge for the H
- I felt like it was hard to know when the H was being genuinely sweet vs when he was just trying to meet the standards of the list
- The H came off too cocky for me
- Not enough grovel when she found out he lied
- Crazy ex plot twist
- Missing answers (why did the ex tie up the FMC when they were in a relationship when he wasn’t physically abusive? Why did he kill the woman who was found in the AX corp building? Why did he leave her body in the building to be found?)

Her List is book 1 in Kylie's new series Seattle Soulmates. This book follows Amalia and Axel's story. Axel Williamson is the youngest of Alyssa and Zac's (Merged with Him) children. He is a billionaire by way of his business. Even though his parents are well off and he grew up wealthy, he made his own empire without asking help from his parents. Amalia is very picky when it comes to men and she has a checklist that they need to tick off. It started as a challenge for Axel to tick off everyone of the items in Amalia's checklist to prove a point but it ended up him falling for her. He is overprotective just like his cousins! I love all the cameos especially Theo Valentino!

Another fantastic book from Kylie
I love a good Kylie Kent fluffy book. And I absolutely love when all her other characters from previous books makes a cameo in the new ones. I found it hilarious that Axe kept trying to convince himself that this was all because of a challenge and not because this was his person. The story was fantastic although I get why she was upset about Pineapples I don't think it was called for for running. BUT I'm also glad Axe didn't put any distance because he would fight for his woman until she was back on board with the plan.

Amalia and Axe were interesting. Axe took her as a challenge and ended up falling for her, while Amalia kept waiting for the other shoe to drop because no way any guys is that good. I did want more drama once the fact that Axe lie came out. He did not grovel nearly enough, instead she forgave him way too quickly after he was the one that messed up but essentially blamed her for having a list in the first place. He didn't quite live up to his father or grandfather in my opinion. Still, a decent spicy story. Hopefully we get to see the rest of Axe's friends and Amalia's friends too.

Amalia is a single woman with a list, her ex was a real jerk so to make sure she didn’t fall for the same thing again she made her list of the ideal man.
It really shouldn’t be that hard to find a decent guy, some make it to the second date but nobody’s made it to the third yet. Her friends tell her she’s too picky she prefers to think of it as having standards. Then she meets him the suave Australian, well you know what they say about something being too good to be true….

I’m a sucker for all things Kylie Kent as her books were the first Mafia ones I read and I’ve become obsessed with the darker side of romance stories. I LOVED Her List, the only downside was I wanted more with the ending action, it was over way too quick IMO but other than that it was a fantastic read. I know Axe’s intentions were just to check things off “her list” but it was clear he was smitten and the honesty between the two was refreshing and very adult like.

Love that I got to read Axel's story
I stumbled upon Kylie Kent and from the first book I read I have not looked back, I have read every novel, I thoroughly enjoyed how the families are intertwined, her characters came to life and every time I put the book down it was like I paused my favourite film.
I normally read a mixture of authors but with Kylie's I went from book to book, now I'm eagerly awaiting her next book!

Love it!
This is one of the tamer Kylie Kent books but the story is so sweet and well developed and still incorporates some of the characters from her other series. Well written and makes me want to read the entire series right now. Devoured this book in one day. Can’t wait to read the next in the series!

Loved this story
I enjoyed the characters and the story lines of this story. I would definitely recommend that it is to be read along with the other books in the series. I have enjoyed every book Kylie Kent has written. The stories keep getting better. I can't wait for the next book to be released.

I enjoyed this read. Was nice to go back to the other side of this crazy family tree. Also enjoyed having familiar faces.

Cute plot
This plot was based on a cute theme but also towards the middle had some great drama. The author did a terrific job showing her writing ability in the story line and development of her characters' personalities.
There were spots of humor, anxiety and Axes family is something else. All in all this was a really good read.

A sweet love story.
Axel meets this woman and they have a one night stand to start out. He finds her list of her perfect man. To prove that she still wouldn’t be happy with a perfect man he starts doing everything on her list. The feelings become more than they were really expecting. They do get along really well. This love story is a little slow simmer and I enjoyed it.

Dnf. This is the 4th book I have tried by this author and the only one I could not finish. Too much the same as some of the others by this author. I didn't care for the characters quite honestly and the whole list thing was a little dumb. The dialogue especially during that first spicey scene during the ons was cringy. Oh well, you win some you lose some.

Axe & Amelia's story was so very good!!! This was on my TBR list and I had put it off until now, big mistake be went was truly a great story. Visiting with the Williamson's, McKinley's and Valentino's is always a treat. Axe is in Seattle for his business projects and he meets Amelia at a bar and there is more than one challenge her!

I cannot believe I've let one story slip through my fingers and I've never read this book, what the hell. I really enjoyed reading this story and loved Axel and Amalia a bit different from the Mafia genre I'm always reading that is until Theo and Matteo walk in, got to love these two and a book isn't a story without mafia, sorry. Love all stories Kylie ❤️
