SUCH a cute story. I love teamwork. The cast of characters at the Sentry was so diverse and fun and a rich community of people for the girls to lean on. I would have devoured this series as a child, and found it comforting and fun as an adult.

This book was amazing, it somehow kept the same energy from the last one while at the same time changing a lot about the story. The twins relationship grew so much and they were in very different places most of the book which was very fun to see. It had amazing plot twists towards the end and they introduced representation so smoothly and proving that representation matters and it doesn’t have to be forced.

It gave me the same vibes from harry potter and mostly magisterium, plus some hints of percy jackson, i’m completely obsessed, im also 18 years old which says a lot ab how good this middle school book was.

I really enjoyed this story. I really the girls dynamics and their amazing and string sisterly bond.
Furthermore I liked all the new additions with the new characters. However, I would have like to learn a bit more of the background between the reveal of the story and it's connection to the Powers siblings.

I just finished listening to the audiobook version of this book narrated by Jessica Benoist.

After listening to the first audiobook of the series, I HAD to listen to this one as well.
And, even if I’m not the target audience for this book, I really loved it!

At its core there’s always the bond between the two twin sisters, Parker and Ellie, but this time they embark on a journey that will change their lives forever.
It was definitely a pageturner and I really loved how the story ends. Well, for us, because for them it’s just a new beginning ✨

Would absolutely recommend it to middle-schoolers/teenagers, but also to everyone who loves fantasy, magic and family bonds!

This is a new series that my niece absolutely adores. The second book expands on the world of Haven's Secret as well as Parker and Ellie's family wonderfully. It's exciting and adventurous for kids. As an adult, who read this with my niece, who doesn't love a magical girl and talking dog concept?

I loved everything about this book - the characters, the story, the environmentalist message. It was a great second book for Melissa and Jessica Benoist. I hope there will be a third. I miss the Powers girls already!
