From Stuart Bray, Jason Nickey, and Chuck Nasty comes Sludge! Five tales of vomit inducing horror dealing with toxic waste, inhuman creatures, altered biology, and squirmy parasites. A perfect read for the dinner table!
I was promised an appropriate dinner table read, so I read this book (at least part of it) over my lunch and if I'm entirely honest the sex bits were the hardest to get through for me because these guys sure can make sex sound like something vile. Otherwise yeah, the title's pretty appropriate.
5 different gross stories from 3 up-and-coming authors in the Extreme Genre. Plenty of fucked up nastiness with enough shit, puke, blood and cum for everyone.
Five short tales all tied together by themes of nasty, disgusting things such as human waste and parasites.
"What Happened to River" was my favorite of the bunch and was five stars "Dick Worm" made me itch all over and was four stars "In the Shed" made me throw up in my mouth a little and was four stars "Toxic Mouth" made me want to look away, but I couldn't...4 stars "Heavy Flow" was vomit-inducing and a great closer for this collection...4 stars
Each one is a worthy contender for a gross-out competition!
Overall… this entire book was an absolute mindf*ck… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What Happened To River By Stuart Bray This took your poster child for the basement dwelling mama’s boy to a sick, sick, sick and really weird level. 🤮 Felt like a total acid trip gone wrong. Bray always does such a good job at making me feel some sort of way about his characters and boy oh boy, did I dislike this mother / son duo. 😅 You never fail to deliver exactly what I’m looking for… a solid and twisty plot, fantastic characters and a ton of extreme that leaves me wanting more. 🤌🏼 As far as what happened to River?! A lot. A lot of shit happened to River. 🤢
Dick Worm / Toxic Mouth By Chuck Nasty Welp, just by the title of the stories, I knew Chuck was about delivery something nasty, and YUP. He sure AF did. 😏 How do you go from almost wanting to be turned on to chuckling about a Donald Duck reference to dry heaving from disgust?! 😭 IDK, but he is absolutely phenomenal at it… every fking time. These ✨might✨be my favorite short stories from him yet. I know I say it every time, but I’m serious, watch out for this one. He’s destined to be great around here.
It’s In The Shed / Heavy Flow By Jason Nickey Brutal and depraved. So vile. So fking vile. Jason is always a stand out writer for me because even though the story is extreme and disgusting AF, it reads so smooth. I have no clue how he pulls it off, but it’s something I always notice and love. These stories went into wild directions that I didn’t see coming and had me jaw dropped from nearly beginning to end. 😵 Whenever I thought it couldn’t get any weirder or gross… it did. 😅
5 well written stories. Some people would be grossed out I guess. For me they're all just fun rides. I'll be continuing to read stories from these 3 sick phucks!
Sludge by Stuart Bray, Chuck Nasty and Jason Nickey is a block of 5 rad, gory and amazingly written stories. The creativity amount these three was top notch! Bringing you deep into a twisted world of vulgar people, demonic and alien situations! Holding a feeling of mutations, karma and deception. The stories were unique and complex that they all brought shock by their own afflictions. I can't pick a favorite because they were all written so well with different topics of demise. You like splatter then give this little monster of a book a go!
Y’all nasty 🤣. Five stories that are as disgusting as they are entertaining. Pure filth. My favorites were It’s In The Shed, Toxic Mouth and Heavy Flow. Just look at those names, lol. If you want some fun, absolutely vile stories to ring in the New Year (or anytime), grab this collection from Stuart Bray, Chuck Nasty and Jason Nickey. Make sure you bring your toilet brushes and puke buckets.
When I heard about this surprise title from these guys, I jumped all over it. Body horror, parasites, aliens, and demons! Hell yeah! 5 enjoyable short stories Bray and Nickey always deliver a well-told tale. Bray's story What Happened to River was excellent, and Nickey's In the Shed was my favorite of his two. C. Nasty, who is relatively new to the scene, is really starting to get his groove going with his two stories, Toxic Mouth being my favorite of his two. I look forward to even more collaborations with these guys. It is always a treat. Check it out!
A collection of 5 gross but really fun stories! An old loser who still lived with his mom and treats her like shit, dickworms, skinless aliens, think twice about fucking in a cave, and always bring a present to your mom's house...these were all so much fun
All 3 authors I've read their individual works but put together they make a great team. I laughed and gagged and you will too! This was super fun
Stuart Bray, Chuck Nasty, and Jason Nickey bring us 5 stories that are disgustingly disturbing, vile, and full of unfortunate situations.
This anthology serves as a warning of what NOT to do. EVER!
These authors are amazing individually, but when they get together, you're guaranteed to be brought on a gag worthy wild ride. Don't forget those puke bags!
I read another collection by Jason Nickey alone that I enjoyed more (They Come From Within: A Collection but these stories were exactly what they said on the tin: GROSS. I had a good time when I wasn't trying not to yack up my hard selzter. This would be a great alternative to Weight Watchers, lol.
All of the stories had decent to good plotlines, but many needed to be proofread a bit more. None of them really kept my attention too well, but theyre all shorts so it was an easy read.
